Sebec River Trip 2023
Hello to all of my friends and family. This was a fun trip I took with my brother, Nephew, and a couple of good friends. This was my first time in the Kayak this year and my very first time over any kind of rapids in a Kayak. I hope you all understand that I can not film going down the rapids. I have been using my iPhone 12 pro to film this adventure and even on the flat water when the wind blows it constantly keeps trying to turn the Kayak around. I did put the time durations in the video so you get a feel for how long the trip took. Being a paraplegic, I am very proud of myself for making it down some of those rapids. Once you are in them the Kayak speeds up considerably and you need to be thinking 5 steps ahead, where you want to go, and how you are going to get there and then the rocks will change your plans many times in the few seconds that you have to make multiple decisions. We all survived. It certainly was a great day for the trip. I hope you enjoy the video. God Bles!

Fishing Schoodic Lake Maine part 2
Hello to all my friends and family. Thank you so much for watching another video of mine. This video as it states is part 2 of the first Schoodic Lake fishing adventure. Pete and I both caught our best fish in this second half of the fishing video. For a week that was predicted to be a complete washout, we had a great week of fishing. Sadly because it was only Pete and I fishing the video wasn't easy to do. We would have done better with one more person on the boat to grab the net. For a few times, we also got double hits so nobody could film because we were both reeling in fish. I have to say this was my best week ever of fishing and catching good quality fish. If anybody likes to fish for togue (Lake Trout) Schoodic Lake is a great place to go. We used a lead line and about 3" Rapala-type lures that seemed to do the trick nicely. Thank you again so much for watching! God Bless! Get out there and enjoy life. We do not get another chance, and if we actually do then this life is a Bonus.
2023 1st Week @ Camp
Hello friends and family. In this video, I am widening out the area to the right of the camp. I am making this area wider in preparation to get the shed moved to this area to free up room on the other side of the camp so I can get that high ground pushed back towards and past the outhouse. My brother also said he would show up on Friday and he and his son Jamison would stay the night and work on Saturday as well. My brother was bringing his tractor so I had high hopes of getting a lot of things done in a short amount of time. This video shows the rest. Thank you again for watching and subscribing. God Bless!

Rocker Installation with No Welding
Hello to all. Thank you so much for watching another video of mine. In this video, I am putting new rocker panels in my 2012 GMC Sierra extended cab. I had asked around to get quotes on how much someone would charge to put them in and I could not even come close to affording to do it. The panels were about $80 per panel. I had to buy a grinder and some cut-off wheels for it. I bought a pair of tin snips and spray paint and primer and under-coating, altogether I spent probably $400 maybe a little more. The estimate to put the rockers in and paint it was $2800. So you can see why I decided to do it by myself. I can not weld. I decided to just rivet the panels on and then use fiberglass bondo. The Bondo is very hard to get smooth. I went over it many times. I probably should have gotten the regular Bondo but I used what I had purchased. The work is certainly not perfect but for a truck that is almost 12 years old in Maine. It will do just fine. Once you start to rust you just can't completely stop it unless you replace absolutely everything. I can't afford to do that being on disability. The truck hopefully will last me a while longer. Rear Wheel arches will be next. Doing the rockers has given me a little experience that I can take with me to do the wheel arches next. Thank you again for watching. I hope this helps someone out. God Bless!

Apex - Attak Handling - Fix
Hello to all. Thank you so much for watching another video of mine. With the sled series, I hope that this information helps anybody who may have a sled like mine. I have been contemplating getting a newer sled because of the handling. These Woody's Slim Jim Dooly's work great. There is almost no darting anymore. The sled handles much better. It only catches in very deep ruts. No sled will completely stop in ruts that are very deep. It makes it feel like a completely different sled. We did take a good 130-mile trip from Katahdin Ironworks up to Kokadjo and threw the scenic loop area and back to KI. I got a good amount of driving in and I am very pleased with the results. The price is about $85 per ski for the Dooly's but that is still way cheaper than having to buy new skis and carbides like a lot of other people were suggesting. I tried the cheapest fix first which was the deeper single-keel carbide runners. Those were the Woody's ACE carbide runners. They did ok but the sled still darted quite a bit. The Doolys were the game-changer for me. I was able to open the sled up out on the lake by Kokadjo as well for the first time I felt safe enough to let the sled fly and I saw 111 mph on the speedometer. I am sure it was spinning a bit in the snow but I was definitely moving. Thank you so much for watching.

Maine 2023 Trail Ride (a Snowmobilers perspective)
Hello to everyone. Thank you for watching another video of mine. This is the longest snowmobiling trip we have gone on this year. We did not go as far as we had originally planned due to time constraints. The whole trip we still did 177 miles. The temperature that day was 7 degrees when we first got in the truck. By the time we unloaded in Dover-Foxcroft, it was 14 degrees. The whole day I do not think it got above 25 degrees. The trails were the best they have been this year for us so far. As usual the closer to a town you got the worse the trails were because of being more used. My sled still needs some suspension adjustment in it to make it handle better. It still is a little heavy in the front end. I need to get someone who knows more about tuning the suspension up to give me a hand someday. All in all it was a great day of riding. We saw a ton of people on the trails. I am sorry that the gopro had been accidentally adjusted down too much. I am still trying to find the best way to have the GoPro on me to get the best footage. Thank you all for watching. God Bless and GET OUT THERE! our time is limited. Do not regret not trying something adventurous!

Dover to Greenville Snowmobiling
Hello to all my friends and family. Thank you so much for watching another video of mine. In this video, my brother and I take a ride to Greenville (the land of Moosehead Lake) from Dover Foxcroft, Maine. On this day it was very warm for early February in Maine. At one time during the video, it did start to rain. After the rain, the trails got a little sloppy. My snowmobile was getting a little light in the ass end after the rain and it started darting a little so I was not able to go very fast. This year 2023 we have not had very good snow conditions. We get snow, then rain, then freezing temperatures, and then it starts all over again. We gave it a BIG try anyway. We ended up going about 110 miles on that day. Thank you all again for watching. God Bless!

ATV winch/plow issues
Hello to everyone. Thank you for taking the time to watch another video of mine. IN THIS VIDEO I want to share my experience with fixing a winch/snow plow issue. My 3500lb winch has been giving me trouble for 2 years now and it finally went way too far. The winch was periodically giving me issues with going back in to bring the plow up. Just the other day it decided to reverse its issue and go up but did not want to come back down. So here is where I am now having to fix that issue. I hope this video helps some people out.

Snowmobile Traction Time!
Hello to all. Thank you so much for watching another video of mine. In this video, I have decided to put some studs in the track of my 2007 Yamaha ATAK snowmobile. This is a 136" track and I have decided to put in 96 studs in this track. When I was riding this last year it was fishtailing everywhere. There just was not enough traction for this 150-hp sled. I have also checked out the carbide runners for the skis and they also need to be replaced. I have ordered some Woody's 6" ACE carbide runners for the skis. The runners were ordered after I put the studs in. This video is not very long but it gives you an idea of the kind of work this is and how long a duration of time it may take to do the job. I did have some problems with the cold and the battery for the drill. I ended up doing 2/3rds of the tightening of the nuts with a ratchet. One-third of the time the battery was charged enough to use the drill to get the nuts tightened on the track. Now after this dumb rain storm it has taken most of the snow away and I see more rain in the near future. It is wintertime in Maine, right? Where the heck is the snow! Hopefully, we get some soon. I am itching to get back out on the trails. God Bless, and be safe out there everyone. Thank you so much for watching.

A Good Deed
Hello to all who watch these videos of mine. This video is short and sweet. My family likes to give back, well not only give back but just plain old GIVE! My brother was hunting on the last day of Muzzleloader season here in Maine and he came across an old graveyard. This cemetery had some trees that had fallen down inside of it and the fallen down trees had knocked over some gravestones. My brother told us about it when he got home from hunting that day. He stated that after deer season he would like to go there and clean up the cemetery and asked if we would like to help. Here is the video of us doing one of many Good Deeds! God Bless!
