Episode 8 finishes the season long defilement and deconstruction of Rand Al Thor as a hero to a man who merely dances to the strings of more powerful woman. Every accomplishment and action he takes can be traced back to Moiraine or compared to a female character leaving his own efforts utterly wanting. Whereever in the books he is given time of triumph or heroism, the show handwaves them away or completely disregards them, opting instead to focus in the power and might of Rand's female compatriots. In summary, Wheel Of Time continues with it's intersectional feminist messaging full speed ahead.

Episode 7 manages to successfully (again) cut off any balls or spine Rand Al Thor might have had by constantly belittling him, having him literally on his knees and bringing a more powerful and capable female friend to bail him out of any and all situations.

Episode 6 gives us Rand the Cuck and Suffering of Egwene. Three guesses who comes on top in that competition.

Episode 5 continues on it's defacation of RJ's work and manages to include a gaybaiting scene between Rand and Ishamael since this show wasn't yet gay enough. Oh and Aviendha is black now because of course she is. On the bright side, actual dialog from the books for once and only once.

Episode 4 not only spends majority of it's time talking about feelings but also manages to make one of the most insulting deconstructions of a WOT character to date.

Rand gets laid, Egwene gets a new bestie and Moiraine really tries to ditch Lan to a point of having another woman mind control him into submission. This episode contains maybe 2/3 of invented scenes, perhaps more with little truth sprinkled here and there.

Episode 3 manages to make 90% of the episode completely invented scenes with some truth sprinkled in the mix. Some good performances emotion wise but Min and Mat are completely shafted character wise.

Due to this episode inventing so much new scenes this may be the shorted breakdown I've done to date. Season 2 continues on where season 1 ended: mainly, denegrating men, promoting women and all in all defecating on Robert Jordan's original story.

Breakdown Of Picard S03 Episode 10: Last Generation. It's all led to this. A fitting emotionally filled end for TNG crew and Picard while there are some... problematic portions. All in all, I would call this a win if not a victory.

Breakdown Of Picard S03 Episode 9: Vox. The terrible truth of Jack is revealed, and old enemy resurfaces and the Titan crew must do some desperate things to fix the situation. Including some really old shit.

Breakdown Of Picard S03 Episode 8: Surrender. Titan crew is screwed as Vadic decides to thin the herd. Jack continues with his mind control shenanigans. Data has an argument with himself and Picard is missing a piece or two.

Breakdown Of Picard S03 Episode 7: Dominion. Shit hits the fan as Picard's cunning plan backfires on him. Jack freaks out Sidney with mind control and Geordi finally get's to tell Data how he really feels.

Breakdown Of Picard S03 Episode 6: The Bounty. Lots of emotional moments but unfortunately a couple of missteps that soured the experience for me.

My Initial Reaction To Picard S03 Episode 6: The Bounty. Very much a memberberry and nostalgia laden episode which for me was a detriment to the overall story. Lots of father/child reflections and themes.

My initial reaction To Picard S03 Episode 5: Imposters. Not as many emotional highs as the previous one but a solid episode anyway. Things are certainly going to get moving now.

My full review and breakdown of the first episode of Picard season 3. I'm gonna bitch and nitpick some but I also liked a few things.

Just giving my first impressions on this controversial and what looks like a fun game.

Rumors are circulating that Amazon is "retooling" Rings Of Power, which might put showrunners Patric MacKay and J.D Payne out to pasture. Going through an article from Bouding Into Comics.

Rings of Power Showrunners J.D Payne and Patrick McKay, while answering questions for Vulture, give insight into their minds and how they relate to Tolkien, the Fandom and storytelling in general.

Episode 8 and the entire first season of Rings of Power will be remembered as the most blatant, ignorant, man-hating, condescending and insulting fan-fiction of all time. Not to mention the most expensive fan-fiction of all time.

My thoughts on Rings of Power episode 7 from the point of view of a fan. Volcanoes and souring wounds mean nothing. Distance and time are meaningless. Looks like Celeborn has bitten the dust which makes it little bit of a difficult task to meet the fellowship couple of thousand years later. Oh well.
