The Dissociation of My DNA - An End to Summer
This is my 2nd video that I have fully filmed and edited on my own. I am a severely private person. This film is part of a process of healing that even now scares me to share with the world. This summer brought up a lot of old dragons I thought I had slain. They reared their ugly heads again and I wasn't at all ready to do battle with them. I had been sitting in my tower for too long (literally I live in a Victorian house and my bathroom floor is part of a tower) Healing and forgiveness is a constant battle that if you forget you are waging you will loose. Although I have not won yet I hope that sharing a bit of my self and my art will either help someone or remind them to keep fighting and that they aren't alone.

Ode to Tarpon Springs - And Restless Hearts Everywhere
Dear Viewers. After admiring film as artform for a very long time this is my first attempt at filming and editing a piece of my own history. I put this footage I took in Tarpon Springs in 2020 on the backburner for a long time as shortly after it was filmed my husband and I took a big leap of faith and moved to the heart of the Smoky Mountains. We bought a fixer upper and most of my time last year was spent throwing myself into many projects and this footage sat for a long time. If I'm being honest the learning curve of filming/editing is a bit overwhelming and probably somewhat contributed to my reluctance to finish this video. But like many leaps of faith sometimes a small nudge is required.
Tarpon Springs Florida is the most Greek populated town in America. This town was settled in the late 1800s and is known widely for it's historic sponge docks. It is a beautiful place to visit full of history and good food.
