Space empty of itself | amihai.substack.com | Art of Now
Space
Can there be a space,
Empty from itself?
Can there be a space,
That has no name, no description, no image?
What would be the quality of such a space,
The nature of it?
How will it announce itself, Within?
Will it claim anything? will it be identified?
Or, will it demand any form of identification with itself?
What would be the relation, of anything,
To that space of nothing?
And can this question be asked, and disappear?
Never meet an answer.
Never meet any definite tone.

Is there total inner surrendering?
Not surrendering to someone, human, God,
Not surrendering to yourself, to ideas, beliefs,
But,
Absolute surrendering to reality, to what is.
The immensity of total acceptance, of that which is revealed, as your life,
Can it be?
Or is it, that no matter what, there will always be a barrier,
Of judgment, acceptance, denial,
Of that which comes to be, and yourself?
Isn’t it, that you are that which comes to be as your life,
And there is nothing, as your life, which is not yourself?
The good, the bad, the desired, the undesired,
And can you totally surrender to it, without a reason, without a choice, without decision, without will?

Did I get what K said?
Probably not.
Why? For duality is a fact in my life. (The me, is watching itself from a distance, failing to see that it’s an imaginary division)
What is the point listening to his words?
That depends on the way one listens:
- Turning him into authority (admittedly or not) will ruin the chance for freedom as with any other authority, as with oneself.
- Finding in his words, answers to life’s questions will destroy the capacity to ask without knowing, which is the only way to truly learn and be a light to oneself.
- Applying true questioning over each pointer he made, and not to try and find or invent an answer to any of them -
Will introduce the unknown to the heart, as the heart.
The need to know, will be washed away. All you see then, teaches beauty.
Life itself is the meditation. Not words. Not K’s too.

All the way and beyond | piano of now | A-Loven
Are we willing to go all the way and beyond -
When it comes to seeing what is, knowing ourselves as we are?
Realizing what is real and what is imagined?
Or,
We do so as long as we can explain ourselves why…
It’s when we absolutely don’t know why, yet our inquiring heart keeps beating, that we go beyond all reasons, explanations, stories.

Despite all you think | piano of now | A-Loven
The reason for “why not” comes from thinking
The reason for “why yes” comes from thinking
All reasons are thinking
Your very life are not reasoned
You ask: Can I live fully, wholly, completely?
You see that you can’t, as long as this question comes on the ground of a reason,
And that without any reason, all is living, aware or not,
Despite all that you think

Observation without a base | amihai.substack.com | Art of Now
Casual observation
It seems, that we are seeking a base, to everything.
All the time.
That base could be, as fluid and undefined, as assumption, opinion, idea,
Yet, we hold on to it.
And when we meet the Now, whatever it is, in whatever way it unfolds,
We meet it from a base, a base of who we are, where we are, what we want, how we should meet it,
And the question is asked:
Do we need a base at all?
Can we observe, watch, learn, ask,
Without any base, any assumption, any string of knowledge, that we hope to extend by experience and by approval, or disapproval and amendment, and so on?
Purely, without a base.
Whatever we see, we see as it is.
Is it possible?
And what would be the quality of observation that has no base?
No one to claim for ‘being observing’,
No one to approve, acknowledge, confirm, that which is observed.
Nothing to relates that ongoing observation to any conclusion.
What would be the nature of such observation?
Isn’t it -
Infinite question?
Isn’t it -
Direct look, into absolute unknown?
Actuality is now as it is | piano of now | A-Loven
An easy way to dispel illusion is to look at the actuality of life.
That is -
Yourself, now, as you are.

To that which is measured, to that which measures,
There is never ‘Enough’.
Is there that which is immeasurable?
Not somewhere else, outside of us, or inside of us,
Rather -

What is space | amihai.substack.com | Art of Now
For reading visit https://amihai.substack.com
About the space:
What is space?
Not the word, not the meaning of the word,
Not the description, not the concept which is described.
What is actually space?
Not a limited space, within borders,
Not conditional space, that moves between content and emptiness,
Not the space that we can consider in the physical dimension,
Not the space that is captured between walls, between objects, between words, between thoughts.
What is the quality of space, that is so trivial, yet, totally ignored?
And how can this be met?
This challenge of ‘what is space?’
Is there any other thing than space itself,
That can meet space, itself?
Can object meet space? What would be the interface?
Can a mind that is full of knowledge, absolutely conditioned, with identity, and preferences, meet space in any way?
Is there such thing as an empty mind -
That can come upon space?
I don’t know, I really don’t know!
Mind can agree, modify, change,
But mind can’t know other than itself,
Other than knowledge.
So, mind can’t come upon space.
Can mind be discarded from that question?
Can that question stay hanged in space?
Disappear in it?
Find out.
Ask.

Free will | amihai.substack.com | Art of now
Thanks to D.Chong for the flowing footage.
~
We live by the will.
We want things.
We want things to be in a certain way.
We want reality of life, that may or may not come to be.
We want to know, we want to experience, we want to become.
That will, is it real? Is it true? Is it a fact?
There is the fact of wanting, but is the content of this ‘wanting’ a fact too?
Or is it, a tendency of the mind,
Moving almost randomly, based on various inputs, and influences,
From outside, and from inside?
And does that will, fulfilled or not, free us in any way?
Or, are we bound by that will?
Is there a free will?

What is truth? | amihai.Substack.com | Art of Now
What is truth?
A question that you may have asked yourself.
How you asked that question, is very important.
If it was asked, out of curiosity, it has no meaning.
If it was asked with expectation to get an answer, it’s really destructive question.
If it was asked with great interest, yet without any assumption,
- Any assumption for an answer
- Any assumption that there is an answer
- Any assumption that yourself or someone else, can meet that question, with something that you don’t have
'What is truth?’ , is a question that is asked;
With great pain, and beauty.
It’s a question that arises from the realization of the vanity in one’s life.
In that space, that pure space, of abandoning all assets of mind,
And questioning whether there’s anything, that doesn’t live under this limited space of the mind,
In that - the answer
In the questioning - the opening is
