Professor Everett has to file a report on conservation of the Blackhawk Wilderness Area. Nanny discovers the children have never been on a campout. Each excuse the professor makes is mysteriously overcome and the family heads into the wilderness where nothing goes as planned

Nanny and the Professor 2x01 The Human Element The boys tell Nanny that Arabella was insulted and then challenged to a race, but Nanny is having none of it. "Old cars are not meant to be raced." Professor Everett comes up with an alternative - feed the data into the computer. The problem is computers can't account for the human element.

Professor Everett receives a fabulous job offer from Astrodynamics, but it means moving to Astroville. The children don't want to leave their home, but put a brave face on for their father's sake.

Nanny and the children's hunt for a rose bush eating gopher uncovers Waldo's treasure - a dinosaur's bone.

Nanny and the children's rescue of some ducklings leads to trouble - a policeman & a judge looking for Nanny.

The household needs a transportation for kids, but it runs on a single-car budget. Family, except the Professor, agrees on having & restoring a 40-years old car. Nanny wins the vote of the driving inspector by rushing to the maternity a stranded couple.

Nanny suggests a family picnic on a lovely Spring day, and the family members all have other ideas anything but OUTING - anyway they'll have a great Saturday together.

The eldest Hal gets a telescope for his birthday but Butch is the one who discovers a new comet.

The Professor's new girlfriend thinks that Butch and Prudence are not grounded in reality and should be involved in her children's therapy group. The therapist will be mostly troubled by their calm & loving approach to other children & the animals

Little Prudence learns to read her first words FAMILY, LOVE. Butch is negatively influenced by a "hip" kid when the Professor keeps missing his activities. The postman who retires early, finds an early decline.

Prudence has a nightmare, with a monster named Wiblet, and Nanny helps her overcome her fears, 'attracted' by evening dose of chocolate.
