Live series with Wendy Bruce, mBraining for alignment with your inner wisdom in management
In the changing world of management, how can we improve communication and accountability with compassion and understanding?
In this live, I talk with Wendy about different management and working styles, handling introverts and extroverts and using "The Platinum Rule".
Don't treat others as you would like to be treated, but seek to understand how they best communicate and respond: how do they want to be treated?
What metrics of accountability work with remote work and with flexible schedules? How can we work better with those who prefer working alone with little interaction and socialising? What truly matters and is essential to your employees.
We also discuss how to align with your personal values and understand the values and priorities of the company and your staff.

Live Series with Chloë Aldam, mBraining for alignment with your inner wisdom in parenting
Can we, as parents, be at our best when our children are at their worst? Chloë shares some of her tricks and habits to slow down, listen and just be calm, irrespective of how big your child's emotions might be.
The secret to staying present is self-regulation (the parent's). Our children learn by mirroring what they see and hear - their experience of how we handle stressful moments.
We also discuss, briefly, the exciting aspects of development. For example, before about 7, children do not recognise their parts: they are wholly present and in the moment. However, they begin to understand past, present and future, and then develop "a part of me wants to" but "another part of me is scared".
How do we, as parents, stay present with all these developmental challenges as they navigate the emotional and hormonal rollercoaster of growing up? Can we allow them to be mad and upset, without pushing for them to squash it down so that we feel more comfortable?
Chloë is an mBIT Master Coach and Trainer, with more than 20 years experience in Bowen Therapy. She is also trained in Simplicity Parenting and offers individual and group coaching programs for parents.

mBraining interview series 2019 - with Emilie Janson, Master Coach
Just Breathe!
How much importance are you placing on your breathing?
There are many ways to self-regulate - you can slow yourself down or give yourself more energy according to how you breathe.
Balance is found when you breathe in and out through your nose with smooth, even breaths.

Live Series with Suzanne Henwood, mBraining for alignment of your head, heart and gut
mBraining started out as curiosity: why does Ancient Wisdom work, and what's the neuroscience that backs it up?
We know that meditation and mindfulness work on the brain as well as on the nervous system. In fact, the power of the breath has been shown in countless studies.
Now, neuroscience is delving each day more into the body: not just into the head brain, but the entire nervous system, including all the neurons in the heart, gut and even the pelvic region.
How can we tap into our intelligence centres and use all of our inner resources for better decision-making?
How do we keep up with all the research and its application in everyday life?

Sue Lester, mBraining interview series 2019
Interview with Sue Lester, Mindset Coach
How can you get a better mindset by acknowledging your feelings and communicating with your heart?
Live Series with Amy Mercer & Laura Masters, mBraining for alignment with your inner wisdom
What I love the most about mBIT is how we combine neuroscience and somatic experience with our innate intuition. As we draw awareness to our inner process and experience, we can get in touch with feelings, thoughts, needs and motivation.
Most importantly, as coaches, mBraining leaves the client owning the process: the coach is merely a tour guide of their experience. mBIT teaches clients their agency and control, leading to more extraordinary decision-making ability.
Once clients draw on this awareness, they can identify the patterns they want to change, building new habits. Even something as unique as personality can be changed by nurturing new patterns of emotion, thinking and action.
We are all human "becomings" - being in this moment but also becoming our future selves.
The most challenging option is how do we teach our children to maintain their hold on their somatic and bodily experiences (which they know innately), while teaching them to use rational thought. The traditional school system will send them into their heads, but we want them to embody being and feeling.
Together we can achieve a more compassion, creative and courageous world, with heart-led guides.

mBraining Interview series with Lizzi Larbalestier, mBIT Master Coach for performance development
mBraining Interview May 2019
Coaching is about: awareness, choices, performance and results - and mBraining provides multiple opportunities for self-awareness that open up new choices and possibilities.
Lizzi's approach is a little different from other coaches: she specialises in and advocates "blue space" coaching. This “Going Coastal” ethos has led to her (since January 2009) using primarily outdoor and water-centric locations to facilitate professional performance coaching and team development.
