Unerklärbare Aktivitäten (Inexplicable Activities): Nothing can prepare you when it happens… Your life doesn’t have to be a horror movie. Promotional film for the clinical practice of Dr. Kaete Niederkirchner to help provide awareness for ADHD. This promotional film for Dr. Kaete was inspired by the nightmare that many go through without being diagnosed or seeking help for ADHD, specifically families. The commercial presentation was adapted from the successful official trailer of the 2007 horror film Paranormal Activity.

This was a filmed score, an experiment in musical composition in collaboration with film production. Unlike most films which are made from script to shoot, later enhanced or complemented by a musical score and sound design; the roles have been reversed. Instead the composer designed a musical soundtrack and had a writer/director complement it with a visual scenography. The composer functioned as the „director“ whereas the filmmaker functioned as a sound designer/musical composer. This is the end product of that collaboration. Abstract short film developing on the idea of language and communication, as well as the strange interactions and interrogations. Part of an over-arching series that comprises Bernardo Sena’s literary Dark Matters universe. Agent Torquemada the Grand Interrogator, of the allusive and mysterious The Firm grills the equally strange, and bizarre suspect linked to a murder scene. The tense and confusing interrogation begins to degrade into chaotic mindlessness, with Torquemada attempting at his wit’s end to get the answers he needs. Where is Raymond? and where is Grey Point? In the end nothing is clear… But then perhaps that is the point. Nothing is what it appears to be. Short film loosely inspired by, and adapted from Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven. Part of an over-arching series that comprises Bernardo Sena’s literary Dark Matters universe. Reynolds unwittingly invites his own demise, haunted by the guilt over his lover, Lenore, who was brutally raped and murdered. At three minutes past midnight Reynolds receives a rare visit from a dark entity… The Raven causes its victims to become consumed by their guilt and face their ultimate fear in repentance and acceptance.
