🔴 Ukraine War - Russia Mass Launches Cruise Missiles At Targets In Ukraine From Crimea
Video footage claiming to be from Crimea shows Russia launching a series of cruise missiles from land and sea based platforms at targets in Ukraine.
Launched were P-800 Oniks and Kalibr cruise missiles.
Interesting is that the P-800 initially is a anti-ship cruise missile that can also be used against ground targets.

🔴 Ukrainie War - Russian KA-52 Emergency Landing During Combat Sortie At Hostomel Airport • POV
Intense video footage reportedly released by the Russian MoD shows a Russian KA-52 attack helicopter conducting a low flying combat sortie at Hostomel Airport on February 24th.
The video shows the helicopter engaging assumed Ukrainian infantry positions while evading a number of incoming MANPADS before bein hit by one of them and having to conduct a emergency landing in a nearby field.
The helicopter was providing close air support for the Russian landing forces and coverred a MI-8 transport helicopter loaded with Russian paratroopers.
Another video released from that day that showed a group of Russian paratroopers assulting the airport could have been from the same mission.
The Russian MoD reported that the crew dismounted the helicopter after the emergency landing and got in to defensive positions to wait for evacuation by another Russian helicopter strike group on the way to the airport.
Another video filmed by Ukrainian forces later shows a downed crash landed KA-52 helicopter in a location with similiar vegetation.
In the video the damage the helicopter took can be visible pretty well but it is not clear if all the damage was from anti-air fire or if shelling of the area later added to the damage.
Also we have not been able to confirm if it is indeed the same helicopter like in the video.

🔴 Ukraine War - Weird Looking Russian Helicopter Attack In Ukraine Explained
A rather strange video showing two Russian attack helicopters type KA-52 and MI-28 conducting a very weird rocket attack maneuver recently raised a lot of questions and speculation.
In the video the two low flying helicopters can be seen firing their unguided rockets towards the sky while pulling their noses up pretty fast.
This actually gives the impression the helicopters are used in some sort of multiple launch rocket system way and this is actually a pretty accurate description.
However what you most likely did not knew is that there is actually a real experimental tactic and theory behind this.
What you see here is an so called hit-and-climb attack or perhaps climb-attack is the more fitting description.
The term hit-and-climb was translated from a old cold war era German NVA manual describing the "science" behind it.
According to the manual this tactic is intended to be used under circumstances when there is no other option for an aerial attack due to heavy intact enemy air defenses for example.
The theory is that the helicopters can fire the rockets from much further ranges to avoid mostly short-range enemy air defense systems such as MANPADS.
However even the Soviets and their allies who taught this tactics in their manuals thought it was effective and there is a number of reasons for this.
First of all the dispersion of the fired unguided rockets is so high the accuracy is heavily reduced.
The second thing is that due to the increased range the penetration performance of the rockets is significantly lowered to a level were the rockets most likely won't have the desired effect on armored targets.
The thrid reason is that because of the physics behind the flypath of the rockets it can happen that the impact velocity of the rockets is not high enough for the warheads to explode.

🔴 Ukraine War - Russian Soldiers Helmet Cam Captures His Unit Coming Under Ukrainian Ambush
Short but interesting footage shows a unit of Russian soldiers reacting to a Ukrainian ambush.
The video was filmed with a helmet cam by one of the Russian soldiers.
The clip mostly shows the soldiers trying to get out the ambush zone and moving to cover but also gives a glimpse on their gear.
You can see what appears to be "newer" AK variants with optics aswell as machine guns.
It has been reported that this video was filmed on the 24th of February but it is unclear if the video was released by Russian soldiers or got leaked by Ukrainian forces who recovered the cam.

🔴 Ukraine War - Ukrainian Helmet Cam Close Range RPG Ambush On Russian Ural Truck
A helmet cam video from an Ukrainian close range RPG ambush on a lone Russian Ural truck filmed in a undisclosed location surfaced on Telegram.
The video shows the ambush on the Truck from 3 different angles.
One from the trucks dashcam. The other from a Ukrainian recon drone following the truck and the third angle comes from the Ukrainian soldier who conducted the ambush while wearing a helmet cam.
The video raises a lot of questions about Russian supply line secuirty and situal awareness in an actual active combat zone.
Since the Ukrainian soldier is not wearing any camo jacket it is possible that he conducted the ambush while wearing civilian clothes and this ambush was in fact conducted behind Russian lines. T
There would be no other reasonable explanaition to why the truck would move alone without any cover by friendly forces.
Since the beginning of the war Ukrainian troops successfully used the long and poorly protected Russian supply lines as their advantage by ambushing them on a tactical level with small mobile units and anti-tank weapons.
This video is just another textbook example of this.

🔴 Ukraine War - Ukrainian Soldier Defending Kyiv Area Finds Clear Words For His Enemy During Combat
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense released video footage from a Ukrainian mortar unit in action during combat in the battle of Moschun in the direction of Hostomel.
The small village is located in the area of Kyiv and has seen constant shelling by Russian forces.
This led to the evacuation of almost all of the 800 residents.
Currently the Ukrainian military is defending the area against Russian advances.
In the video you can see Ukrainian soldiers conducting fire missions on Russian units and artillery positions.
Also there are two comments made by soldiers who participated in the battle.
One finds surprisingly clear words for his enemy if you keep in mind that this is in fact part of a official press release.

🔴 Ukraine War - Helmet Cam Captures Russian Air Assault Troops First Capture Of Hostomel Airport
Ultra high definition but pretty selective footage released the Russian Ministry of Defense shows the moment when Russian air assault troops captured the Hostomel Airport on the 24th of February 2022.
The video was recorded with a helmet cam by one of the Russian airborne soldiers participating in the battle.
Since there is not much visible resistance seen in this video it is safe to assume that this landing operation was conducted during Phase 2 of the initial air assault since there were already Russian troops operating on the ground visible from the helicopters.
Also this videos still gives a great look on the armament of Russian air assault troops.
As the video shows the assault led to the capture of the airport but Ukrainian forces started a counteroffensive later that day giving them back control over the airport shortly after.
Hower Russian forces still managed to capture the airport again and hold it till this day even if it is not usable due to heavy Ukrainian shelling.

🔴 Ukraine War - Ukrainian Soldiers Knock Out Russian Tank With NLAW In Point Blank Ambush
Drone footage recorded in the area of Bovary located northeast of Kyiv shows an NLAW initiated point blank ambush on a Russian tank unit in the middle of a road.
From the footage it seems a Ukrainian forward infantry element took position in and around the wood left west of the Russian armor column and started to engage the vehicles from close range with anti-tank weapons such as the NLAW, some RPG variants and small arms fire.
Russian forces reacted with counterfire from their tanks and infantry fighting vehicles and quickly began to disperse after the first shoots.
The ambush occured on the E95 about 10km north of Bovary and about 5km north from Skybyn, the place where Ukrainian forces recently released another drone video that showed the retreat of the 6th Russian Tank Regiment from the 90. Tank Division after accurate artillery, anti-tank and tank fire by Ukrainian troops.
It is possible that this video is from the same battle but since we can not confirm this it also can be that this is from another Russian attempt to close in on Kyiv via Bovary.
In the end of the video we deliver some more context to the footage so make sure to watch the video to the end.

🔴 Ukraine War - Ukrainian Artillery Forces Entire Russian Tank Regiment To Retreat
A Drone video from Ukraine shows the moment as the advance of an entire Russian tank regiment was stopped and forced to retreat by Ukrainian artillery and tanks.
The event occured on the E95 at the entrance to Skybyn when the tanks attempted to move towards Kyiv through Bovary, north east of the capital city.
When large parts of the regiment piled up on the road accurate Ukrainian tank and artillery fire targeted the vehicles forcing them to retreat over the open fields in the vincinity.
According to reports to targeted regiment was the 6th Russian Tank Regiment of the 90th Tank Divison.
Alleged audio files added to the video claim to show a conversation between Russian forces during the event.
Here is a translation:
Udar: Nitra I am Udar
Nitra: 6th regiment is almost lost
Udar: what?
Nitra: 6th regiment, I am collecting them, a lot of losses, cant report yet. Head of the column got into an ambush, commander is dead. I am checking the rest.
Udar: As soon as you check let me know
Nitra: They were hitting us with artillery, tanks and I think Bayraktars, AUVs. I am trying to figure it out
The authenticity of this audi recording however can not be confirmed.

🔴 Ukraine War - Rooftop Ukrainians Target Russian Forces With ATGM & NLAW Anti-Tank Weapons
Video footage from Ukraine gives a prime example of effective anti-tank weapon utilization from high ground.
Both videos released today show Ukrainian forces on rooftops as they engage Russian armor with ATGMs and NLAWs.
The first clip from Nikolaev shows members of the elite special police unit "KORD" using a Konkurs ATGM system to destroy a advancing Russian tank from a medium distance.
The second clip show Ukrainian troops firing a Swedish made NLAW anti-tank launcher from a rooftop at a Russian position from a relatively short distance.
Man portable Anti-Tank weapons such as the NLAW or other anti-tank systems like the Konkurs ATGM play a huge role in Ukraines efforts to best possibly halt Russias military offensive.

🔴 Ukraine War - Ukrainian Special Police Unit Destroys Russian Tanks With RPG-7 & Artillery Support
Video footage from either a body or helmet cam shows members of the Ukrainian elite police unit "KORD" destroying the remains of a Russian tank element with RPG-7 fire.
From the howering drone and radio communication we can hear in the beginning it seems like the men were directing danger close artillery fire on to the Russian forces before they destroyed the remains by using RPGs.
Interesting to see a police unit in such a role in active combat.

🔴 Ukraine War - Drone Shows Intense Close Combat Between Ukrainian & Russian Troops In Kherson
Drone footage recorded by a resident of Kherson shows a really unique and rare glimpse on close combat between elements of two professional armies.
The video was filmed on February 24th during clashes at the Antonovsky Bridge in the battle for Kherson.
Without context the scenes show a section of Mechanized Armored Vehicles including 2 BRDM-2's and a number of about 12-16 mounted Infantry coning from the north to inspect the remains of a disabled artillery convoy in the south. What they do not know is that about 3 Squads of enemy Infantry so a total of 20-30+ soldiers is already waiting for them west of the road to initiate an ambush from close range.
Now some context to the footage.
This was recorded in Kherson on 24th of February.
During that time Russian forces advanced from the south over the bridge while the Ukrainians defended the north.
The two BRDMs were in fact Ukrainian while the attackers on the berm were Russian soldiers.
After matching the area with real time map images we were able to locate the exact location of this battle.
We also matched the military eqipment seen in this video with "comfirmed" losses on both side during the war.
During our research we found out that till now no Russian operated BRDM loss was listed there but under Ukrainian losses there were BRDM-2s and 5 of these were lost in Kherson.
So we found out that this in fact had to be Ukrainian BRDM-2's.
Now we tried to identify the dissable convoy. On the first look it appeared like the convoy must have been Russian given the fact that its location matched the course of the frontline during that time with Russian forces advancing over the bridge. However a few observations let us think twice about this.
The vehicles have no markings. Nearly all of Russian vehicles are marked with letters. While we do not think that they really mark every vehicle (SF operations for example) this regular convoy should have been marked. That was not the case. However it could have been that the markings just were not visible from the angle of the drone cam so we digged a bit deeper.
Again we looked up confirmed vehicle losses on both sides. Russia only had a couple of D-30 howitzers listed but none of the pictures to confirm the losses were taken in Kherson. So we took a look at Ukrainian side and in fact there were a couple of howitzer listed. Under them were two Ukrainian 12mm 2A65 Msta-B howitzers. After looking at the pictures from them we were really stunned to see that the pics in fact showed the same artillery in the same locations as in this video. Also on the pictures you could clearly see no markings on any of the vehicle. That led to the conclusion that the convoy was in fact a Ukrainian convoy.
This helped us to come to following conclusion:
A section of two Ukrainian BRDM-2's with two squads of 12-16 additional infantry was sent to the south from the north to inspect the remains of a destroyed Ukrainian artillery convoy. It is possible that they were sent in to scout for enemy presence and to look for survivors. What they did not knew when they were halfway at their AO was that about 3 Russianb squads with 20-30+ soldiers set up positions west of them on and behind a berm. When the Russians saw them coming close they started to engage them with small arms fire and grenades since it seemed they lacket anti-tank weapons. It could be that they already used them up on the convoy before. The Ukrainian soldiers on the BRDMs dismounted and hit the ditch right next to to them. A few also took cover behind the poles on the road but got engaged by grenades. All in all the front BRDM and its men were hit harder by the ambush. They spread out much further than the men from the second BRDM and it appeared they needed much longer time to evacuate. The second BRDM started a retreat while the first one remained at the scene when the video ends. It very likely that these two BRDMs were later destroyed on that road as the pictures of lost Ukrainian BRDM show. There are no other reports about confirmed losses during that battle when it comes to men. No Russian or Ukrainian numbers from this particular clash were released.

🔴 Ukraine War - Russian Soldier Tries To Loot Ukrainian Tech Store • Fails At The Door
Video footage of a witness in Kherson shows a Russian soldiers attempt to loot a Ukrainian tech store by using his rifle and the mighty force of his Russian body.
The soldier is seen standing in the front of the store shooting at the door with his rifle in an attempt that should destroy the lock. In his logic at least.
After firing a few singel shots he swichtes over to burst mode before trying to open the door.
Naturally this attempt fails so he tries a few more times by using his rifle, hands and body.
After all this failed he is seen leaving the scene frustrated.
There is a lot of footage coming from Ukraine showing Russian forces looting supermarket but this one is a uniqe one or what do you think?

🔴 Ukraine War - Surveillance Drone Records Strikes On Russian Military Vehicles
Surveillance Drone footage released by a Pro-Ukrainian source shows a series of alleged drone strikes on Russian military vehicles in a undisclosed location.
What we can get from the strikes is that mainly Russian MRAP and Trucks were targeted by the strikes.
Ukraine recently released several videos of Turkish made Bayraktar TB2 drones conducting strikes on Russian military vehicles but we can not say for sure that TB2 were involved this time.
Based on the damage dealt by the strikes it is also possible that the drone could have directed some other type of fire such as mortars for example.

🔴 Ukraine War - Russian Strikes Hit Kyiv TV Tower • Broadcasts Temporally Cut
Several videos from Kyiv released show the Kyiv TV Tower and its surrounding area being hit by Russian precision strikes today.
Different angles show smoke rising up from the area around the tower and several blasts were recorded on camera.
Due to the strike it appears that Ukrainian broadcasts were knocked out but the Ukrainian Interior Ministry already said they are working to bring programs back up again.
The attack on the Kyiv TV Tower comes after Russia announced it will start to conduct strikes against technological infrastrukture in Kying in order to suppress "informational attacks" on Russia.
The battle for Kyiv currently rages on as the war continues for nearly a week now.

🔴 Ukraine War - Russian Tank Fires Directly At Residential Building • Nearly Hits Person Filming
Footage released by a Pro-Ukrainian source from the war in Ukraine shows the moment a Russian tank opened fire on a residential building in the area of Kyiv.
The tank was captured firing directly at the building nearly even hitting the person filming.
It is unclear if the shot was aimed at the cameraman or if a Ukrainian fighting position was suspected to have been in the building.
However there were no clear hearable sound of gunfire or fights going on in the surrounding area so this shot raises a lot of questions.
The scene in the video reminds on videos that got massively released during the begininning of the Syrian civil war.
Back then Syrian tank frequently got recorded while firing at residential buildings and even directly cameramen filming.

🔴 Ukraine War Heavy Urban Combat In Mariupol As Ukrainian Forces Defend The City Against Attacks
Cellphone footage recorded from the home of a resident shows heavy urban combat taking place between Ukrainian and Russian/"Novorussian" forces in the battle for control over the city of Mariupol.
The got so intense at some point of the video that the witness who recorded the footage had to keep his head down and take cover himself as an presumably anti-tank weapon was launched towards a advancing conovy on the streets.
While the quality of the footage is not detailed enough to determine which vehicle convoy got engaged it can be said that it was most likely Russian since they are the ones who currently assaulting the city.
Mariupol is a heavy contested area since 2014 when Russian backed seperatists already tried to capture the city for the first time but got kicked out by Ukrainian forces who hold the city till now.
Currently we could not collect any valid reports of hold, gained or lost ground of either of the combating sides.
