Walk with me on this journey of creating a suburban homestead. Our home is on less than a quarter of an acre. We have a garden in the front yard, and both a garden and chickens in the back. I'm learning as I go, and we call this house our stepping stone home. This is our first step towards a larger homestead of our very own. Let's see what we can do with a standard suburban yard in the city.
