Instrumental Relaxing music | Peaceful Instrumental music | Relaxing music
Relaxing music triggers changes in the body that in many ways mimic a sleep state. A slower heart rate, slower breathing, and lower blood pressure are all physiological changes that make possible the process of falling asleep and staying asleep. Music also has a soothing effect on our emotional brain, easing stress and anxiety.
Playing piano is particularly beneficial in 3 areas of the brain: the motor, visual and auditory cortices. Just like a physical workout, disciplined and structured piano practice strengthens these areas, which allow pianists to better apply them to other activities
Several studies show listening to music at bedtime improves sleep quality, including in young adults, older adults, and children.

3 hours relaxing sound | sleep sound | sleeping sound for insomnia | relaxing sound
There’s also a body of evidence showing that listening to music before bed can help improve sleep quality for adults with insomnia.
Music improves sleep efficiency
That’s the measurement of the time you spend actually asleep compared to the overall time you spend in bed. A lower sleep efficiency can be an indication of restless sleep with awakenings throughout the night, trouble falling asleep at the beginning of the night, or waking very early and not being able to fall back asleep.
Research shows that a pre-bedtime music listening session can help you fall asleep more quickly.
Music is an effective treatment for short-term and chronic sleep disorders, according to a recent analysis of research. The therapeutic effects of music on sleep get stronger with time, the study concluded, meaning the more consistently you use music to help you sleep, the more effective the practice may become.
The influence of music over mood and stress helps sleep, too

One of the most important ways music can help sleep is indirect, by its effects on mood and emotional state. Our mood has a significant impact on how well—or not well—we sleep. Stress is without a doubt the most common challenge to my patients’ ability to fall asleep routinely at the same bedtime each night and to sleep soundly throughout the entire night. Depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders frequently go hand-in-hand with sleep problems, including insomnia.

20 minutes Awareness Meditation | Mindful Meditation | Meditation sound
This awareness meditation includes the frequency to be mindful and focus during meditation.
How to meditate?
Meditate every morning and every evening for 15-30 minutes. It is best to meditate before you eat. Try to meditate in a quiet place but if you do not have a quiet place to meditate that is okay. Noise is not a barrier to meditating.
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and do nothing for a minute or so. Thoughts will come and that is okay. It is natural to have thoughts or fall asleep during meditation. After a minute or so, in the same natural way thoughts come and go. Don’t dwell on single thoughts try gently push them and go to your next thought. When the same thoughts come back or too many thoughts come back and forth, use a trigger word (any word that is unique to you), this word will help to clear your thoughts and bring you back to the mediation. When you finish meditating, lay down and rest for 4-5 minutes.
You may go to sleep during meditation, and that is okay. Meditate for a few more minutes when you wake up after being asleep and then lie down and rest for 4-5 minutes.
