Celebrating our granddaughter's 2nd birthday

We lived in this motorhome for 5 years but it was time for a change...so we bought this Nuwa Hitchhiker Wide Body Premier in November and it suits our current life so much better! We did find a buyer for the Hurricane Motorhome; he doesn't drive, and so had it towed to his property, where he also plans to live in it full-time.

Since I was sick I haven't had enough sunshine so today it was great to get out and sit in the yard with my service dog Maisie and enjoy the sun, the colors, and the fresh air!

Just a little talk we had this morning...

My week with our daughter's family while Pete was being treated.

I had 3 birthdays this year: one with Pete on my actual birthday, one with Gwen and Don a few days later, and this one with Casey and her family after we got home from Kentucky.

We spent some time in Midland today and I talk about what we got at Costco, what I ate (low carb) at Qdoba, and some other stuff.

Just me, talking, sharing about what we did today...

On our way to being totally off-grid we have already started using a ProOne water filtration system and a composting toilet in the RV in which we live. This purchase is the next step in meeting our goal, and we will follow up with more information when we are using it regularly.

We took a trip to Midland for a Costco shopping and a visit to a certain laundromat for old times' sake. Plus a new-to-us thrift store and Qdoba!

Just try to see things in the same way again!
