About Jesus_

We see Jesus taking a day off on the last day of Creation Week. This was not done to establish a "Sabbath Law" but to picture the rest we have IN God found IN Christ. By comparing Scripture with Scripture, we see the God in Genesis 1 is a Trinitarian statement of faith with direct application to the Son of God, Jesus Christ. To know about Jesus is to know that He is eternal. He is "from everlasting". This is a key to knowing about Jesus and if you don't understand this, you cannot understand the Incarnation, the Trinity, etc. https://bbfohio.com

Many people, including genuinely saved Christians, think that they know all there is to know about Jesus. Or maybe they just think they know all they "need" to know. Regardless, the Bible tells us that we will be getting to know Jesus for the rest of eternity! https://bbfohio.com

Jesus called Himself, "The Light of the world." But we sometimes limit that truth to spiritual, personal application. The fact is, Jesus IS the Light of the world in a very real, tangible, actual sense. https://bbfohio.com

Light existed before the creation of the sun, according to Genesis chapter 1. How does that work and why? We know from John 1 that Jesus is the Creator of light. But we find, comparing Scripture with Scripture, that Jesus is the LIGHT of Creation!
