ASONG4ME (Coflo remix)
The story behind the song:
ASONG4ME was gifted to me during my first Ayahuasca journey in the jungles of Ecuador. I was accompanied by my wife Sunshine and my brothers Danilo Arroyo and DreThe4th. Our host Leo Mass introduced us to his teacher and shaman named Don Mario who comes from a long lineage of indigenous Ayahuasca facilitators. He sat us down in a circle, gave us each a cup of his potion to drink and began singing the most beautifully haunting melodies I had ever heard. Moments later I awoke into a previous life as a slave in the middle of a cotton field. Once I realised where I was and what I had become I began to weep uncontrollably under the immense realisation of being completely powerless. My immediate instinct was to sing as a way of alleviating the grief I was enduring. Singing out of desperation for salvation and freedom is how ASONG4ME was born. It was at that moment that I was transported into the visual perspective of Mother Earth, I was literally peering through the eyes of earth gaia, spinning around the sun and through our galaxy. I recognised that she is the higher consciousness and that all of us are but tiny parts of a greater collective whole. At that moment of realisation an infinite geometric grid of eyes/entities emerged. I was being observed by thousands and thousands of ancestors (the collective consciousness). As I focused my attention to individual eyes they telepathically projected back to me different memories of my past. I felt comforted and validated as being a living being and the path that my life has put forth for me. As I continued to sing I felt my inner strength increase and my love for this world and those around me fortified. It was a true gift that I will cherish for as long as I live. Axé
