Whole Bible Instruction: Weigh the Word
Bruce S. Bertram, that guy with no initials after his name, from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com goes over what Jesus tells us in our ninth guideline to avoid neglecting any law, big or little.
23"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. (Matthew 23:23 NASB95)
While it is a good thing to measure out the spices, we should pay equal or even greater attention to weightier issues. The tithing of small things is good. We should do that. But we are not to neglect justice, mercy, and faithfulness while we are measuring our spices.
Feast days, diet, and laws of clean and unclean are important. But we must not forget that love, grace, patience, self-control and longsuffering are weightier. The fruit of the Spirit is just as much a law as avoiding pork and shellfish (except weightier).

Whole Bible Instruction: Balance the Word, Do What Jesus Did
In the twelfth and final video of the series, Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com talks about the guideline of balancing the Word. Believers use the Word to steer a course between unreasonable fear of making a mistake and unbridled permission to presume on God's grace and sin that grace may abound.
Love and the Spirit working with a heart of flesh is the key to balance. An unbalanced extreme is the idea that Jesus came to eliminate the Law. Another is legalism (misuse of the Law to earn something from God). We are tugged (or pushed) all the time towards other unbalanced practices such as supposed orthodoxy and restrictive traditions too. We balance the Word with dedication to every thing God says, yet with latitude considering we are doing the best we know how. We don't have to worry about death (since Jesus paid the price for disobedience) but on the other hand we don't just blow off His Word as if it doesn't count anymore.

Whole Bible Applications: Stuff That Is Not Commanded
Bruce S. Bertram, the guy with no initials after his name, from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com takes a look at some laws that are not Laws. Many times we reject God's Laws, then substitute our own. His are the only Laws that are effective.
Head coverings (male or female), alcohol, cheeseburgers, day of meeting, two sacraments, and pagan "days, months, seasons and years" (Christmas and Easter) are covered briefly. Their main claim to fame? Not in the Bible.

Whole Bible Christianity and Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy are available also in Kindle and Audiobook formats!
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com made this video to help believers understand salvation. There are so many false definitions going around, and some who wear the Name imply that following all of the Word (including the Law) is not a "salvation issue." A false teaching has arisen in recent decades that pictures salvation as merely "believing in Jesus." Well, demons believe, and tremble, yet are not saved. So what does it mean to be saved?

Our books Whole Bible Christianity, Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy, and Whole Bible Prophecy: Horror and Hope are now available Amazon.
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com looks at Bible math, meaning the nature of the law and number of commands. Remembering that there was only one command in the Garden, does that have a bearing on the number of laws? Is it really the number of laws, or is it the condition of our heart? This is the second video in the series, discussing the heart of God's living oracles.

A Whole Heart: Living With God As Our Center
Our books Whole Bible Christianity, Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy and Whole Bible Prophecy: Horror and Hope are now available on Amazon.
Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com explains the continuity of whole Bible Christianity through the principle that God's living oracles apply to everyone all the time no matter what. His Law is supposed to be for one Body, not several different bodies, and applies uniformly to all. Even to unbelievers.
God's grace was given to us in the Law, and in the Incarnation. They are not mutually exclusive, but interwoven for eternal life. God's Word is life, and grace upon grace.

Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com follows up his discussion of the Temple with a look at the biblical fact that another Temple will be built even after Jesus is on the throne in Jerusalem. It will have priests and animal sacrifices and everyone will go there for the Feast of Booths (Tabernacles). If they don't go, they won't get rain. He also discusses the difference between lip service and heart service, and why God got disgusted with Israel when He was only getting empty sacrifices.

A Whole Bible: The Acts 15 Council
Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com challenges you to look again at the Acts 15 Council to see whether they really got rid of the Law or not. Bruce says not. You might agree once you realize that the four laws on which the Council agreed were not only all "ceremonial" but they were also dietary. If they were eliminating the Law for Gentiles, why give out these four? It doesn't make sense according to the Bible. Instead, it is much more obvious that the Law was reinforced. The four laws were merely intended to help with table fellowship while both groups together learned the Law of Moses every Saturday at the synagogue. Bruce presents the evidence for his position in about nine minutes.

Whole Bible Blessings: Life Abundant, Marks Children, Discipleship
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com reveals yet more blessings from following the whole of God's Word, including the Law. Here we look at life abundant, that observance of the law marks His children as His, and that the Law is the best discipleship system ever devised.
The Words of God are life. The more of His Words we take in and obey or abide in, the more life we have. Adam and Eve turned their backs on life by doing their own thing. Many people since have done the exact same thing. The Law (every Word God speaks) is life and health to our body and soul.
There are many ways to mark something, and not just with ink or paint. Our behavior marks us more surely than any graphic. The mark of the Beast is simply an outward symbol of an inward condition, a sort of notary stamp on what has already been shown by selling out to the deceiver. Following God's Laws marks believers in a way that no pigment or dye could change.
The best discipleship system ever devised comes straight from our Father and needs no improvement. It helps condition and train us to win the race; following His regimen guarantees success.

Whole Bible Blessings: Justice, Protects, Moves
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com continues describing the wonderful blessings granted by the grace in God's Law with a look at the blessings of Justice, Protection, and moving us.
God's justice is mixed together with all the other benefits of a relationship with Him. His Law measures justice, and requires us to be just in our dealings with others. We cannot have grace without justice.
God's Law protects believers not only in administering justice (ultimately) but also protects us from the opinions and philosophies of men. We can follow His Word with complete peace, knowing that tradition or plausible sounding arguments cannot move us away from the life in His living oracles.
Following His wonderful laws moves us toward the Christ, because Christ is the goal of the law. We have some simple, concrete steps we can take to complement the renewing of our minds by the reading of His Word with a heart of flesh written with the Law by the Spirit. Believers can easily follow the laws, and work back and forth between the simple things like avoiding pork and shellfish to more intangible fruit of the Spirit.
Keep going with us as we continue to examine all of the 24 blessings, and more, available to believers abiding in His loving Words.

Whole Bible Blessings: Teaches Children, Esteems God, Draw Near
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com serves up another healthy helping of wonderful blessings coming from a whole Bible believer's observance of the Law - it Teaches Children, helps us Esteem God, and encourages us to Draw Near and Touch Him.
God's traditions in the Law, in particular the feasts or holidays, helps us teach our children. It gives us and them some concrete things to hold onto, things simple enough that even a child can understand and participate. Once we get a handle on His living oracles in our own lives, we can easily demonstrate God's love and provision to our children. The helps knit us all together into one big happy family.
Self-esteem is preached by the world; God esteem is preached by His Law. Practicing all of His Word allows us to show God how much we esteem Him, love Him, and want to implement every tiny little letter of His Law in every area of our lives.
As we obey each command we touch our Lord and Master and Friend and He touches us. From this flows worship, thanksgiving, praise and testimony to His provision and blessed love. It is no big deal to incorporate all of God's requirements for holy living, because He doesn't ask very much of us. As our Father, of course, He's not going to leave us hanging after making us new creations. He shepherds us with tender loving care, making boundaries and warning us away from dangerous situations.
Sit back and enjoy more of the radiance of His glory blessing us through our whole Bible living.

Whole Bible Blessings: He's In There, An Effective Mirror, Key to Understanding
Bruce S. Bertram the nobody from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com furthers the glory of the Word of God by discussing even more blessings from following the Law. Of course, if you've been regularly viewing our videos or reading the draft of our book Whole Bible Christianity (on our website) then you know the Law is everything God speaks. Living the new covenant (the Law written on a heart of flesh by the Spirit in love) conveys all sorts of blessings pressed down, overflowing, and without measure.
Jesus is in there, for one thing. Every tiny command that we discover and put into our daily living sheds abroad the love of God and shows His glory. His Word has Him in it.
When we look into the perfect Law of liberty we see ourselves clearly, and the Spirit helps us conform our minds and bodies to the will of God. This is not always a comfortable process. It is needed, however, for love to flow and transform us from glory to glory.
The law is the key to understanding God and His Word. The whole process involved starts with recognition of His kingship and requires submission. Submitting brings more understanding, and more blessing. We find out that resisting God is what causes all the suffering in the world, but accepting the whole of His living oracles is life and peace and health to our being.

Whole Bible Instruction: Live on the Word
That nobody from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com is at it again with a continuing series on practical application of the Law as a valid lifestyle and discipleship method for believers. Bruce S. Bertram presents another guideline from the Bible on how to apply the Bible, this one called Live on the Word. Jesus in Matthew 4 gives us a way to answer critics who only use part of the Bible, responding with "it is also written" that man does not live by bread alone. We live by every Word from the mouth of God.
Each response is saying essentially the same thing in three different ways. On the surface what looks like three different temptations have the same goal. The Satan tries to get Jesus to abandon God's will and do His own thing (in reality the Satan's own thing). They may have been in a desert but the scene recalls the Garden of Eden, when Satan also used part of God's Word to misrepresent God's Word. Jesus responds as Eve (and Adam) should have -- "It is also written." We still get hammered with the same sort of temptations on a regular basis, and the defense used by the Master works just as well now as it did then.

Whole Bible Instruction: Worship with the Word
The heart of worship is abiding in God's Word. Another word for abiding is obeying. We abide when we do what God says. Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com looks at the sixth guideline for application of God's Word to daily living which is that we worship through living every word from the mouth of God.
To worship is to obey or follow. When we do what another god says to do (even the god of our own knowledge), we are worshiping that god. Jesus says to worship God only, so that means we do all and only whatever God says. Seems pretty cut and dried when you look at it that way, don't it?

The Whole Picture: Salvation by Love Through Love
NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON: Our book Whole Bible Christianity is now available for purchase at https://www.amazon.com/Whole-Bible-Ch...
Available also in Kindle and Audiobook formats!
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com takes a few minutes here to explain the whole Bible Christian concept of salvation by love through love. It's a different way of looking at the faith/works question. Our whole Bible Christian idea balances between salvation by grace through faith and salvation by works.
Maybe you are one of those people who really want to feel God but just can't seem to reach. Like me, you've looked in church; maybe even a number of different churches. While there are some good things, God seems to be just a bit beyond your fingertips still.
You've tried a home fellowship or two, and learned to pray like that guy Jabez. Seminars to help you find purpose to drive your life are coming out your ears. You've tried all the latest church fads; bought the bestselling books and videos. You get excited for a while, but none of it really works to touch God or produce Spirit fruit. You can't get over the huge disconnect between what you see around you in the church and what's in the Word.
This video, and our others, can help you find what's missing. Some argue faith alone, others argue faith with works. We prefer to look at the question as salvation by love through love. The Father loved us and sent His Son, Jesus died and rose again for us in love, and we respond to that love in love by doing everything God asks.

NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON: Our book Whole Bible Christianity is now available for purchase at https://www.amazon.com/Whole-Bible-Ch...
Available also in Kindle and Audiobook formats!
Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com points out here that there are many church versions of the Law. Some limit it to ten commandments. Some divide it into non-biblical sections then tell us that two of them don't count. Others want only two commands, or red letters, or a spiritual law. The biblical choice in our view is...all of the above. In this video we give you the lowdown on which Law it is our privilege to follow. We also talk a little about what it means to work, and locate Law within grace.

The Whole Picture: Street Theology
NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON: Our book Whole Bible Christianity is now available for purchase at https://www.amazon.com/Whole-Bible-Ch...
Available also in Kindle and Audiobook formats!
Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com discusses what he means by street theology. Everyone has a belief system. For believers we call this "street theology." It is composed of what we think or know to be true, and we use it whenever we are judging truth and how we will react to the truth we think we know. Where do believers get their street theology? We would probably say, "From the Bible," but perhaps it is more from what we've heard about the Bible than the Bible itself. We encourage believers here to stop playing the game of telephone (going mostly by what is heard) and instead go direct to the Source.

Our books Whole Bible Christianity, Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy and Whole Bible Prophecy are now available on Amazon.

Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com shows the biblical truth of God and Jesus being one. If you listen a while to modern church teachings you'd swear they were talking about two different gods when they talked about Jesus and the Father. The old god is supposed to be a god of bloody sacrifices, lightening, and gave us laws we couldn't follow. Jesus is supposed to be the new version: modern, easy to get along with, undemanding, and hip. The biblical truth is that Jesus IS that old, Jewish God!

Our books Whole Bible Christianity, Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy and Whole Bible Prophecy are now available on Amazon.
The first two are available also in Kindle and Audiobook formats!
Bruce Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com presents a whole Bible Christian introduction to the Body of Christ using Ephesians 4:4-6 as a start point. Take a look with us at the biblical concept of one body, existing since the beginning, composed of members who believe God and act according to His Word. The Body has always been one. The Church is not the Body, the body has never been split as the modern church has, and it have never been in danger of going away.
