The Strawberry Moon on May 16, 2022
For some reason, I was not able to capture this event on video back in May of 2022. But I was really surprised when I shot these photos. Contrary to popular belief, the earth's shadow does not cause this phenomenon. That theory was debunked with several lab experiments by independent sources.

The Holiday Inn Resort at Panama City Beach Florida
Video clips from our vacation at the 15 story Holiday Inn Resort where every room has a balcony with an ocean view. Parking is on the other side of the street and connected by a tunnel below the main road. Shuttle service is provided to pick you up at your car and carry you and your family right up to the front door. This hotel is a one stop shop with a restaurant, convenience store, and poolside entertainment. This was our third visit since 2014. You may also like our two other videos filmed here, (1) Boats and Ships on the Gulf of Mexico and (2) The Stars at Panama City Beach. June 20, 2023

Boats and Ships on the Gulf of Mexico
I filmed this from the balcony of my 14th floor hotel room in Panama City Beach, Florida. I had planned on filming the sunset over the ocean but the weather didn't cooperate with me. I would estimate the big ship anchored off shore was at least 15 miles out. June 20, 2023

Aldebaran
Aldebaran passes by the lense of the Nikon P1000 camera in real time. I had to the lower resolution of the original I filmed on July 3, 2022 so I could add a Picture in Picture crop zoom clip. The star is faint and barely visible to the naked eye.

How Far Away is the Moon
Is the moon really one quarter million miles away like we are told? I can't zoom out to a mountain that's just 20 miles away and focus this clearly. You decide. Filmed with the Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera. March 4, 2023

The Rise and Fall of the Morning and Evening Star
Venus is sometimes referred to as the Morning or Evening Star because of its brightness. There is also some debate as to the meaning of Isaiah 14:12 in regards to Lucifer the Light Bringer and King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. The correct translation is most likely "Shining One, Son of the Morning" (you decide). Also see Jude 1: 14-15. Filmed with the Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera

A Sirius Question
What did you expect to see? A hot flaming CGI ball of gas like the one you see in your favorite Sci-Fi movie that's in a galaxy far far away? Sorry to disappoint but this is a real star.

The Lesser Light to Rule the Night
The moon as seen on February 10, 2023 at 2 am. In the second half of this video, you will see a star in the background moving in front the camera lense with the moon trailing behind. I use this technique sometimes with the moon because it creates a strange lighting effect that illuminates a small part of the sky that usually cannot be seen. God made the lesser light to rule the night. Genesis 1:16

Taylor's Ridge
I filmed this from Taylor's Ridge atop East Nickajack Rd near Ringgold, GA. I zoomed in 18 miles to Covenant College atop Lookout Mountain and then panned right all the way to Point Park. If you look close you can see the statue. Not my best work here but it was good practice. January 2, 2023

Christmas Weekend in Gatlinburg, TN
Christmas weekend in Gatlinburg, TN 2022. Cityscape video was filmed from the 14th floor of the Park Vista Hotel which is about 1000 feet above the city. Most attractions were closed with the exception of a few such as Ripley's Aquarium. Anakeesta and the chair lifts at both sides of the city appeared to be closed. The temperature was 8° farenheit for the low and only reached 28° for the high. There's a short clip of the inside of the Aquarium half way through this video and the evening Christmas lights are at the end. Zoom photography was captured with the Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera.

Saturn, Jupiter, and Polaris
Every object in the night sky moves except for Polaris. In this video, Saturn and Jupiter are seen moving in real time in front of the camera lense but Polaris does not move...period. Anyone with a telescope or a powerful camera can test this for themselves.

Waning Crescent Moon
It was unusual to see a Waning Crescent Moon inverted like this. It just barely appeared above the Eastern horizon that morning on October 18, 2022.

This is Sirius
No matter when you see it in the sky, Orion’s Belt always points to the sky’s brightest star, Sirius. On October mornings, Sirius and Orion can be found in the south before dawn. Filmed with the Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera, 125x + 3.8x digital. October 29, 2022

Third Quarter Half Moon
The moon takes 27.3 days to orbit the earth, but the full lunar cycle takes a full 29.5 days to complete (we are told). Throughout the cycle, the moon will be waxing each day, or increasing how much of it you can see lit up at night, then waning, or decreasing in size until it disappears.
(1) New moon starts at the beginning of each month, then (2) Waxing Crescent, (3) First quarter/Half-moon, (4) Waxing Gibbous, (5) Full moon at the middle of each month, then (6) Waning Gibbous, (7) Third quarter/Half-moon, (8) Waning crescent, and then the cycle begins again at the beginning of the next month. The Mars Luminary
Regardless of how you focus your camera lense, you can't make Mars look anything like the CGI artist's renderings we've all seen. It's up to you to decide what to believe. Filmed with the Nikon P1000 camera on August 27, 2022.
