DAY 11 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
Day 11- Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Psa 73:28 But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.
Psa 145:18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
Psa 145:19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.
Jas 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Drawing near to God is about living in His presence or being before the face of God — which is, by the way, the literal translation of presence. One can be living in the earth without His presence like Cain and others mentioned in the Bible. But what does it mean to live in his presence or draw nigh to God? The presence of God or the nearness of God can be understood in two ways:
(1) Our experience of it; meaning that we taste or feel or realize the reality of God more directly, more authentically, more intimately, more effectively (that is, producing more effects in our lives) more certainly, more satisfyingly, or more terrifyingly, and so on. In other words, His presence, as we experience him, is the heightening of his reality in our lives, either for good, if we are in His grace, or for ill, if we are under his wrath. Which is why Jesus makes all the difference here who has redeemed us thereby we experience the welcoming reality of God’s Presence.
So, for example, we read in Psalm 100:2 “Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” Or James 4:8: “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” These are invitations into the fuller, more intense, more certain, more joyful, more satisfying, more transforming experience of the reality of God experienced only though Jesus Christ.
(2) God’s expression of it; refers to God’s manifest influence from His side — not thinking now about our experience of it, but His more manifest influence in all of the universe. Like in Psalm 114:7–8 “Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turns the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of water.” In other words, when God manifests himself or His presence in a fresh new way, stunning things happen in the earth — whether anyone experiences them or not.
God is omnipresent, but he makes his influence more manifestly felt and experienced in particular ways and particular times. When it says in Psa 145:18 “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” That doesn’t mean that God will travel some distance to get to you. No, It means he is near in the sense that he exerts His influence for our good in special ways and causes us to experience the sweetness of His presence in special ways. You can live 24/7 in His presence only through Christ Jesus. It’s your choice!

DAY 10 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
Day 10 - I have been made Whole & Healed by His Stripes!
1Pe 2:20 For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.
1Pe 2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
1Pe 2:22 "WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH";
1Pe 2:23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
1Pe 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
The sufferings Jesus Christ was propitiatory, and we let alone anyone could not imitate His sufferings in this respect, and Peter does not suggest that we should. Rather the argument seems to be as His followers, the Savior's agony was not brought on by His own sins, for He had none. It was for our sins when He was nailed to the cross.
Because He has suffered for our sins once for all, we should never allow ourselves to get into the position where we have to suffer for them too. The fact that He died for them should cause us to die to the and yet, it is not simply a matter of negative-goodness; we should not only die to sin but live to righteousness.
By whose stripes you were healed. The word stripes is actually singular in the original, perhaps suggesting that His body was one massive welt or wound. What should be our attitude towards sin when our healing cost the Savior so much? The reasoning from this seems to be: Since you have been redeemed, live worthily of your heavenly calling in relation to your fellow-believers, to God, and to the State, 1Pe 2:17; to your employers, 1Pe 2:18; to husband, 1Pe 2:1; to wife, 1Pe 2:7; to everyone, 1Pe 2:8.
Let us remember that we have been placed in a corrupt and ungodly world as lights in the mist of darkness in order to bear witness to Jesus Christ by the simplicity and beauty of our godly conversation and lifestyle. The way of the Cross of Jesus Christ is the only safe way for us all, if we stay connected to Him our Shepherd and Protector. We have been made whole and healed by His Stripes, Believe it!

DAY 9 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 9 - THE POWER OF YOUR TESTIMONY
Rev 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
1Pe 5:6 And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand
1Pe 5:7 by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.
1Pe 5:9 Resist him, strong in your faith, because you know that your brothers and sisters throughout the world are enduring the same kinds of suffering.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our present and eternal victory is based on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ which is the dividing line in human history which resulted in his victory over Satan. Praise the Lord, we overcame the evil one by the blood of Jesus Christ and by our Faith in God which is the word of our testimony.
Make this heavenly proclamation your personal proclamation today, declare it over your life, family, and nation. Speak out loud always giving thanks to God and remind yourself where God has brought you from and what He is bringing you too. I have the victory through Jesus Christ. There is power in your testimony of faith.

DAY 8 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 8 - NOT CONFORMING TO THIS WORLD
Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
What should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God as a living sacrifice in holiness that you experience all that delights His heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. It surely is not imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around us, but to be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total transformation of how we perceive and think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live your life, satisfying and acceptable in his sight.
Let us pray - Father, I place my whole life on the altar as a living sacrifice. I embrace what you have done for me and what you continue to do in and through me. Help me to not simply go with the flow of the culture or the routines around me but to be conscious every day of your will for my life. In The Name of Jesus, Amen.

DAY 7 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 7 - JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!
Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
Php 2:6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
Php 2:7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
Php 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Php 2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
Php 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
Php 2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Lord means having All Power or All Authority; it also means - The Master, The Owner. His Lordship is based on His Ownership. When Christians acknowledge the “Lordship” of Jesus Christ they are ascribing respect and honor unto Him and as well as their pledge of obedience to Him. Jesus Christ is Lord, our only Hope, our only Healer, our only Helper, Jesus Christ is Lord!

DAY6 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 6 - MEDITATE ON HIS WORD AND THEN JUST DO IT.
Jos 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Joh 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
Joh 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Joh 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
Joshua was again commanded to be strong and very courageous, being careful to obey all the Law that God gave to Moses. This command is based on God’s power through His Word. This is a stronge exhortation, indicating that greater strength of character would be required to obey God’s Word faithfully and fully, especially to win the battles that lie ahead!
The emphasis in these verses is clearly on His written Word. To enjoy prosperity and be… successful in the Conquest of Canaan, Joshua was to do three things with regard to His Word:
(1) The Law was not to depart from his mouth; he was to talk/speak/confess it (cf. Deu 6:7);
(2) He was to meditate on it day and night, to ponder/think about it.
(3) He was to do everything written in it, to obey its commands fully and living by them. (Jas 1:22-25).
Joshua’s life demonstrates that in a practical way he lived according to the teachings of the Law of God, the only portion of the Word of God then in written form. This alone explains the victories he achieved in battles and the success that marked his entire life.
The Lord himself has said Abide in His Word! And when you do like Joshua you will make your way prosperous, then you will have good success, and you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

DAY5 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 5- EXCEL IN THE BOUNDARIES OF FREEDOM IN CHRIST
1Co 6:12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
1Co 6:13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
1Co 6:14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
It’s true that our freedom allows us to do anything, but that doesn’t mean that everything we do is good or godly. I’m free to do as I choose, but I choose to never be enslaved by sin our anything. Some have said, “I eat to live and I live to eat!” But God will do away with it all. The body was not created for illicit, acts, behaviors or desires, but to serve and worship our Lord Jesus Christ, who will fill your body with the Holy Spirit When you submit to him.
Let’s look at the areas in our life to see where we may or may not be a link to the Lord and then spend time asking for His help in those areas you may be weak in, as you continue to abide in Him, the Lord will raise you up by His power.

DAY4 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 4- HEARING HIS VOICE
Joh 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.
Heb 3:12 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
Heb 3:13 You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.
Heb 3:14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
Heb 3:15 Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”
God desires to speak directly to you. As a good Father, he longs to engage with you in continual communion. So great was his longing for communion that He sent us His only begotten Son Jesus Christ who has given us the His Holy Spirit. We now have access to the heart of God through the Spirit. You can know his will, hear his voice, and live with the knowledge of his love.
If you are a Christian, the “Spirit of truth” has come. He dwells within us. He longs to tell us how God feels about us. He longs to guide us to the Father’s perfect and pleasing plans for our lives. His voice is perfect, full of love, and always truthful. He will never guide us into something that isn’t best for our lives. As the Lord Promise in John 16:13, he will declare to you what he hears the Father say.
Let the truth that God desires to have real, life-transforming communion with you sink into your heart for a minute. Think about what it means for your own life to have communion with God. Your Creator longs to help you with your decisions, relationships, work, finances, and identity.
As the Lord God speaks to us by His Word and Spirit about our life and future let us not harden our hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.

DAY 3- BEING AN ACCESS POINT FOR HEAVENLY THINGS
Gen 28:12 He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
Gen 28:13 There above it stood the LORD, and he said: "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.
Act 2:17 "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
Act 2:18 In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants—men and women alike—and they will prophesy.
Act 2:19 And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below—blood and fire and clouds of smoke.
Act 2:20 The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the LORD arrives.
Act 2:21 But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’
What can one expect in a true “Open Heaven” experience? His tangible Manifested Presence (the Holy Spirit) appears and is felt, revelation pours forth, along with blessings, miracles, signs, wonders, and so much more happens.
Get Positioned for an Open Heaven and to be an access point in the earth of the heavenly things! Get into Kingdom alignment by stepping out of the shadows of the side edges of this world and move into the light of His Word, light of His Will, and light of His Ways. After all being “centered in Christ” is the best and only place to be to receive this Blessing from above!

DAY 2 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 2- THE LORD IS MY HELPER!
Isa 45:1 "Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:
Isa 45:2 'I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.
Isa 45:3 I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.
Heb 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU."
Heb 13:6 So we may boldly say: "THE LORD IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?"
Besides issuing a decree permitting the captives to return home, Cyrus also avenged God’s wrath on the nations. Amazingly the Lord called Cyrus His anointed. The word “anointed” referred to the relationship Israel’s first two kings, Saul and David, had with God (1Sa 10:1; 1Sa 16:6). Since Israel in exile had no king, Cyrus functioned in a sense as her king (the anointed one) to bring about blessing of the Lord. Like the Messiah (lit., who is “the Anointed One”) who would come after him, Cyrus had a twofold mission: to free the people, and to bring God’s judgment on unbelievers.
God did All this through Cyrus (a type and shadow of Christ) for the sake of Jacob, God’s Chosen People. And even though Cyrus was not a believer for he did not acknowledge the Lord as the true God. God called him by name and he was honored by God because he yielded himself to be used by God.
God’s uses individuals, whom He equips and raises up at specific times and for specific work for the sake of His Church. God choices are sovereign, and the fact that they may or may not make sense to you, it has no bearing on them. We do not always recognize the real sources God uses for our lives unless you’d discern them by His Word and by the Holy Spirit.
So let us not gird ourselves in our own strength leaning unto our own understandings as the world around us do, day in and day out, but let us continue to stretch forth holy hands unto Him, knowing that He will neither fail us nor forsake us.
Those who utterly yield to the Lord Jesus are embolden in the exercise of daring faith to declare, that is, to claim their covenant and redemptive rights in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Lord is Our Helper - Shout Amen!

DAY 1 - 21 Day of Prayer & Fasting – Encouraging yourself In The Lord!
DAY 1- ARE YOU READY?
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Heb 10:37 "FOR YET A LITTLE WHILE, AND HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME AND WILL NOT TARRY.
Heb 10:38 NOW THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; BUT IF ANYONE DRAWS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM."
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
1Th 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Th 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
The Rapture and the Day of the Lord will come as irrevocably as the day of the flood dawned in Noah's day. From God's initial announcement of impending judgment to its final execution when he closed the ark, God extended a period of grace to 120 years (Gen 6:3). Likewise, the Rapture and the Day of the Lord will appear at the time God has appointed. Are you ready? True, some people question the coming of this day. Yet that day will come, and then time, which God has created, will end. God set time in motion when he made the universe. But when He Catches away His Church and the Day of the Lord has come, chronological time disappears in eternity.
God regards time from a perspective that differs from ours. We must learn to understand both time and patience from God's point of view.
Why does God delay the return of Christ Jesus? The cause of the delay stems not from indifference or inattentiveness on the part of God. It lies in God's grace and mercy toward sinners. He allows them time to repent of their sins. Jesus will return when God's patience has ended, when the time allotted has expired, and when the last believer has accepted Christ as Savior. “Not human sin, but divine forbearance, which cannot be constrained, determines the delay. It is the sovereign God who Graciously grants an interval for repentance.” God works out his plan and purpose even though man expresses doubts. The Lord Jesus Christ will return and the question is, Are you ready?
