After several months, I finally scored at my local thrift store. A vintage Lionel O Scale train set with a 2-4-2 steam locomotive. Missing some of its' cargo, but still in very good condition.

This was rebuild of the Widowshild house in Forgotten Hollow.

No one knows what became of the Morrison Family. They just no longer lived in their century old mansion. But on one particular rainy night, the neighbors witnessed flickering candle light, faint music coming from the otherwise dark, silent old house. Did someone return to the Morrison Mansion? Or had they never left?

How much weight can this little engine pull?

Recently bought a box of trains for $25, and the best piece is this HO Scale Athearn Blue Box F7 in Santa Fe War Bonnet. Runs great, just needed and little lube and couplers.

HO Scale EMD F Unit with DC Control. For sale on Ebay. By Intermountain? Unsure of brand. Runs good, light works but shell needs repair.

Paid $15 for some vintage O scale Marx trains at a thrift store, including 2 locos, cars, track and controller. It took some cleaning and some repeated pushing, but they ran. #Marx #oscale #thriftstore

Bought at the same time as the Bachmann n scale train set, from a thrift store, this Ho Scale Hudson 4-6-4 Canadian National #5702 by Mehano was originally sold with the President's Choice Mini Chefs train set in the 90's. Runs good with working headlight and reverse light on the tender. But the bell is missing. I have all the cars from that set, that I bought a few years ago.

Another thrift store find for $5.99 plus tax. A Bachmann Highballer N scale train set with a Union Pacific F unit, 2 cars and a caboose. Will it run?

CP Rail F Unit #4056. Another thrift store find, HO scale CP Rail F Unit #4056. Not sure of brand, possibly Life Like. Let's try it out, see if it runs or not.

Pulled my Tyco slot car track set out of a closet to see if it still ran. I've had the set since the early 80's, and the last time I remember running it was in the 90's. These are the original cars, even though they don't match the box cover. They were both oiled before I tried to run them.
