2 Thessalonians
This letter from Paul has been grossly misused by many in recent generations. Paul is not teaching about some imaginary "rapture of the church" or of some mystically evil individual referred to as the "Antichrist." As a matter of fact, the term "Antichrist" is only used in 1 & 2 John and neither letter is prophetic.
Paul is speaking of the resurrection and also of the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel. The Thessalonians were of the opinion that they may have missed the resurrection. Paul writes these letters to comfort and encourage them, as well as to teach them prophecy as written in the Tanakh.

1 Thessalonians
This book is a letter written by the Apostle Paul in probably 52 or 53 AD. If that's true, then that makes this the first epistle that Paul wrote. (The english word "epistle" simply means "written correspondence.") Thessalonica was a Roman colony. It was located 50 miles west of Phillipi.
These letters to the Thessalonians are most often used to justify the strange allegations of a "rapture" and an "Antichrist" in prophecy. But did Paul really teach those things? Was Paul ever really given new prophetic revelation, or was he just teaching prophecy as it is given in the Tanakh? Set apart an hour or so and see if you don't agree!
