Trail Reviews- Mount Si and Mount Teneriffe Loop [Snoqualmie Washington]
Hello!
This is a trail review of the Mount Si and Mount Teneriffe Loop located just outside of Snoqualmie Washington. This is a tough trail and I would only recommend expert level hikers take it on. There are many variations of hike to do in this area that accommodate less experienced hikers. If you are afraid of heights, this is not for you. On the teneriffe side the trail is not well established and is steep in grade with lots of switchbacks, and ridgeline climbs that bare full exposure. The reward is an incredible view of the snoqualmie valley and Mt Rainier.

How to find your soulmate, Biblical dating, and Godly marriage advice
#howtofindyoursoulmate #biblicaldating #Godlymarriage #Godlymarriageadvice
Welcome to This Week in the Word!

This weeks study: How to find your soulmate, Biblical dating, and Godly marriage advice
For husbands and wives:
Read passage: Ephesians 5:22-31Wives, this passage calls you to a very specific task:
What to do: (verse 22A) Submit yourselves unto your own husbands,
How to do it: (verse 22B) as unto the LORD. Verse 22B
Example: (verse 23) even as Christ is the head of the church: and he (Christ) is the savior of the body. (Verse 24) we get a clear example here, in EVERYTHING.
Instructions for the husband:
What to do: (verse 25A) husbands, love your wives
How to do it: (verse 25B) as Christ loved the church
Example: (verse 25C) and gave himself for it
MEN! Listen up, because you are being told again:
What to do: (verse 28) men are to love their wives as their own bodies
How to do it: (verse 29A) no man ever hated his own flesh but he nourishes and cherishes it.
Example: (verse 29B-30) even as the LORD the church for we are members of his body, flesh and bone.
Notice that all examples the Bible gives here are a comparison of Christ and the church?
Now this is not the point of this message but in verse 31 its repeating genesis 2:24 when God gave Adam his wife.
Jesus also talked about this in his ministry on earth in Matthew 19:5-6, saying what God hath joined together let no man put asunder.
Now in verse 32 Paul gives us good insight to help us understand what he is talking about. (Rom 7:4, Rom 12:5, Eph 3:6, 1Cor 6:19-20)
For the Singles:
Marriage in the Bible is defined as having sexual intercourse. Its not a ceremony or a paper issued by a state.
Examples of marriage: if you want to study this out search the word “wife” in the Bible and it occurs 397 times. Gen 16:3-4; Gen 38:1-14; Exo 6:20, 23, 25; the best example is Matt 19:5-6, marriage is the joining of flesh. Two become one. The bible says not to sleep around for this reason 1 Co 6:15.
If you are having sex with “boyfriends/girlfriends”, STOP! The seriousness of this was never explain to me and I wish that it had been.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Paul says we should stay single and focus on our walk 1 Cor 7, but it is better for us to marry if we can keep ourselves from burning with passion.
Ladies: What does your “shopping list” look like?
Men: What does your list look like?
How does this differ from worldly singles “shopping list”:
Truth is there is very little difference, but we are called to be separate from this world. To be a peculiar people unto God. Remember we are not our own?
How to build a biblical “shopping list” for a partner:
Believer’s Step 1: Ask God.
Believer’s Step 2: Put in the work and get right with God.
Step 3: Listen to God.
Believer’s Step 4: Building your list for you and your partner.
Believer’s Step 5: Be patient.
Bonus Believer’s Step: It's not over.

History of the Bible- Part 2- Byzantine vs Alexandrian Text - Why the King James Bible only?
#byzantinevsalexandriantext #historyofthebible #whytheKingJamesBibleonly #isthebiblecorrupt
Welcome to This Week in the Word!

This weeks study: Is the Bible Corrupt? Part 7- History of the New Testament Byzantine vs Alexandrian Text
Byzantine VS Alexandrian:
There are over 5800 copies of the greek new testament that have been found that were all written prior to the invention of the printing press. For this video to keep it super simple we are only going to focus on the two main lines.
History of The Byzantine Texts:
This family is named after the Byzantine Empire which was established as the eastern side of the Roman Empire after the Roman Empire split in the 200’s AD. These texts were found all throughout the eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea. point of origin set in Antioch. This family of texts are dated to be written between mid-400’s AD up through the 15th century AD.
The Byzantine text are also known as the “majority text” because they make of the vast majority of the 5800 plus greek texts of the new testament. According to researcher Dean Burgon in his book The Traditional Text, 995 texts out of 1000 are from the Byzantine family. Hence the name “majority text”.
The Byzantine Texts are known for their detail. There is a lot more specific details about the life of Jesus in the Gospels, and even in some extra details in the epistles when compared to the AT.
The Byzantine Texts are known for their vast agreement, meaning they all say the same thing.
History of The Alexandrian Texts:
Said to have been written between the 2nd and 4th century AD in the region of Alexandria Egypt. There are far fewer text than the other families but the main work for English translations today is derived from 3 texts know as the Codex Alexandrinus, Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus. (CA was written in Alexandria Egypt in late 300 AD by Thecla, a notable lady of Egypt, its first historical record is argued between 1308 AD and 1621 AD. The CV was discovered in 1761 by the Italian traveler Vitaliano Donati in the St. Catherine’s Monastery at Mt Sinai- Egypt when this traveler randomly came across it in the monastery library. CS was discovered in 1859 by Constantine von Tischendorf in St. Catherine’s Monastery at Mt Sinai- Egypt, in a garbage bin waiting to be burned by the monks. ). The method used to determine the date of origin is called paleography, which was invented by the catholic church, and isn’t very scientific. Essentially you look at the type of paper, the case set of the letters, sentence structor and the font.
The Alexandrian text is also known as the “critical text” for 2 reasons. First is because the lack of agreement between the different texts in this family. For example there are 3064 disagreements between Vaticanus and Sinaiticus just in the 4 gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Second is because its readings are very abrupt using far fewer words.
This family of texts are known for omitting chunks of scripture, the biggest of which is Mark 16:9-20. Here is a list of the most common but this is far from an exhaustive list: Matthew 12:47; 16:2b–3; 17:21; 18:11; Mark 16:9-20;9:44.46; 11:26; 15:28; Luke 17:36; John 5:4; 7:53-8:11; Acts 8:37; 15:34; 24:7; 28:29.

History of the Bible- Part 1- History of the Old Testament Text - Why the King James Bible only?
#historyofthebible #whythekingjamesbibleonly? #historyoftheoldtestementtext #oldtestament #isthebiblecorrupted #thisweekintheword
Welcome to This Week in the Word!
This is where I am sharing the work God is using to grow me. How I am preparing for his calling on my life, and being a witness to his glory. I am not a graduate of seminary, a theologian, or godly scholar. I am just a born again BIBLE believing disciple of Jesus.
My mission is to encourage people to seek God through reading his word.
This weeks study:Is the Bible Corrupt? (Part 6) Bible History, the old testament:
Opening:
My goal is not to argue with the scoffers who’s hearts are hardened to God’s truth. I am looking to inform believers and others who are seeking truth, specifically the truth of God. These 3 positions should be enough to not only establish you in the correct word of God but also give you knowledge to help teach others and defend your position on a number of fronts so that you will not soon be shaken in your beliefs.
Faith Position: we have already covered this in the first 5 videos of this series. I believe the King James is the word of God in the English translation because of what the Bible says. I don’t put my faith blindly in this book. I have studied it out and trust the words of God more than the words of man.
Historical position: I want to make sure to give the disclosure that man did nothing to write or preserve God’s word other than being God’s instrument. 2TIm 3:16, Psa 12:7 You will quickly see a theme where every thing boils back to 2 lines, one from God’s people, and one from Egypt.
Difference Position: We have not done so yet but at the ending of this series we will look at the differences between the different versions, which is a very compelling case study showing the King James to be the true word of God in English today.
Two families of “text”:
Masoretic Text (MT):
This is where the attacks begin.
“Oldest is best”:
“Errors in translation”:
“Missing books of the Bible”: t
“Changes in Prophecy and Doctrine”:
SeptuagintText (ST):
Type of paper: keep in mind the “paper” of old isn’t paper as we know it today
Papyrus: this was a plant based paper invented in 3000 BC by the Egyptians. Papyrus has a tendency to crack so it wasn’t folded, but rolled as a scroll. This was the most popular from of writing material until 2nd century AD. Papyrus isn’t durable and decomposed fairly quickly especially in the moist climates of Europe rarely able to last 200 years. The oldest pieces of papyrus in the world today are less than 1000 years old and they are fragments.
Parchment: AKA Vellum- this was made from animal skins, invented in Pergamum around 197-159 BC. Parchment was much more durable than Papyrus, and was able to be folded. This paper can last hundreds of years. The oldest parchment in the world is 1500 years old.
The last book of the Bible was penned as late as 96 AD. This means all originals are gone. The paper used in the world when the Bible was written could not have survived to today so at best what could have survived is a copy.
The work of a scribe: a scribe is a person who’s whole life is dedicated to making copies of written documents. This was how books were published prior to the invention of the printing press. The jewish scribes of old were considered to be an elite occupation, on par with doctors, lawyers, government officials, and judges. It was a occupation that required extended schooling.
Method of copies:
All materials they used required purity so before they could start they would clean their tools, instruments, and workspace. This includes physical cleaning as well as spiritual cleaning.
The ink used must be black and made by them from a secret recipe
Each written column can not have less than 48 lines, and can’t be more than 60 lines.
They must say each word out loud while they are writing it.
They must clean the pen, and wash their entire body before writing the most holy name of God, EVERY TIME THEY WRITE IT!
Each document had to be reviewed by a ranking member within 30 days or it would not be accepted.
Testing: the number of each letter, word and paragraph was counted and if any were off the entire manuscript was not accepted. If 2 letters touched each other the entire manuscript was not accepted.
If any errors were found, or if it wasn’t accepted the entire document was destroyed by fire and the scribe had to start over.
Completed word could only be stored in holy places

Is the Bible Corrupted? Part 5- Inspiration without Preservation is Damnation!
#inspirationwithoutpreservationisdamnation #isthebiblecorrupted #preservationofthebible
This weeks study: Inspiration without Preservation is Damnation
This book is a miracle:
The bible is a collection of the words God chose to give us. They are not all his words, but a specific selection of words he gave to us because they are the specific words he wanted us to have. Just as this book doesn’t contain all the knowledge of God, rather it contains the knowledge God wanted to impart to us.
It is complete: [Rev 22:18-19]
It needs zero help: [2Tim 2:15-16]
Just as Jesus is a miracle, so is this word: [1 Tim 3:16- says God was manifest in the flesh, 2 Tim 3:16 says God was manifest in a book, and John 1:14 says Jesus is the word of God, and 1 John 5:7]. Jesus is God yet man, these words are God’s, yet written by man.
It goes against man’s logic: [1Cor 3:19]
Through God all things are possible. [Mark 10:27]
Without faith it is impossible to please God. [Heb 11:6]
What is Faith? [Heb 11:1] Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.
By grace we are saved through faith
“Inspiration without preservation is damnation”
This week we look to the Bible to see how the Bible tells us it was written and how it has withstood the attacks of the enemies for over 6000 years. This is called “Inspiration” (how it was written), and “Preservation” (how it has been protected).
1Pet 1:23-25: it lives through God’s inspiration (God breaths the breath of life), and abides through God’s preservation
Preservation:
God’s promise to preserve his word: Ps 12:6-7
Preservation through writing:
Rev 20:12-
Exe 32:33-
Preservation through Canonization:
Lies of the enemy: the Bible was cannoned by the Catholic Church at the council of Trent in the 3rd century
The OT was cannoned before the birth of Jesus. We know this because the Bible shows us.
Jesus spoke to the canon of the OT from Able to Zacharias Matthew 23:35
Jesus confirmed the content of the OT, and that is was written about him: Luke 24:44
Jesus also said his blood was shed for the NT, which [Matt 26:28, Heb 9:15]The NT was cannoned in the 1st century as the apostles were circulating it.
1 Timothy 5:18- Scripture quotes Deut 25:, Luke 10:7 (Paul knows the gospel of Luke as scripture)
2 Peter 3:16 refers to Paul's epistles as scripture, yet this didn’t mean all Paul’s writings.
The organization of the order is a miracle in itself. Gods book to us goes in order of his timeline, not man’s timeline. (In order of dispensation, not as they were penned)
Preservation through Propagation: Isaiah 55:10-11, 1 Timothy 2:1-6
Preservation through Translation: Romans 16:25-26
Lies of the enemy:
Again, understand our enemy, knowing he is a lier and does so to make confusion. He uses the logic of man to make disbelief in man, but with God all things are possible.
“Only the originals are inspired”
Jesus read the scriptures in a small town, and called it scripture
2 Tim says Timothy know the scripture from his youth, but he didn’t have the originals
Jeremiah 36
If its only in the originals then its not preserved because all the original have
“Oldest are best”
2 Corinthians 2:17 says there were corrupt words of God in Paul time. If one of those had served to today it would be by far the oldest manuscripts know to man, but they would still be corrupt
“Details are lost in translation”, “translations can’t be inspired”
Acts 22-1, Romans 16:22, Romans 9:17
“All versions of the Bible are basically the same”
If you know your enemy you can understand this. Satan has always attacked God’s truth. Satan’s first act in the Bible was to change the word of God (”yea hath God said”)
If you are in any other religion there are no arguments over your “bible” but in christianity there are over 450 versions in English alone.
The bible says to judge a tree by its fruit. Look at how apostate the church is today, and this condition started with man taking liberty to “correct” the word of God.
This book is alive because its the word of a living God. We don’t have to know how God made it all work and understand it, we just need to believe God’s promise.

Is the Bible Corrupted? Part 4- How God inspired the Bible
#isthebiblecorrupted? #howgodinspiredthebible #isthebibleGodinspiredcorrupted? #thisweekintheword
This weeks study: How God inspired the Bible
Hebrews 4:12 This book is a miracle and gift from God. Its the only book in the world that is alive, and its the only book in the word that reads you as you read it. Think about that for a minute.
This book is a miracle:
It is complete: [Rev 22:18-19]
It needs zero help: [2Tim 2:15-16]
Just as Jesus is a miracle, so is this word: 1 Tim 3:16, 2 Tim 3:16 says, John 1:14 , and 1 John 5:7
It goes against man’s logic:
The wisdom of man is foolishness. [1Cor 3:19]
Through God all things are possible. [Mark 10:27]
Without faith it is impossible to please God. [Heb 11:6]
What is Faith? [Heb 11:1]
By grace we are saved through faith [Eph 2:8]
“Inspiration without preservation is damnation”
This week we look to the Bible to see how the Bible tells us it was written and how it has withstood the attacks of the enemies for over 6000 years. This is called “Inspiration” (how it was written), and “Preservation” (how it has been protected).
1Pet 1:23-25:
What men call Inspiration:
Natural Inspiration: There is nothing supernatural about it. Men wrote stuff down and others liked it.
Spiritual Illumination: it's not the writings that are inspired, but rather the men who wrote. God inspired the man, and while inspired they wrote the scripture. Today God could inspire someone in this way to write more scripture.
Partial Inspiration: Parts of the Bible are inspired. Typically meaning the only parts inspired are the parts that pertain to faith and practice, but there are errors in parts related to history, science, chronology, etc. (“just the important parts”)
Conceptual Inspiration: only the concepts are inspired, not the words. God gave a man an idea and they wrote it in their own words.
Personal Revelation: the Bible itself is not the word of God, because God doesn’t speak through propositions or mere facts about himself. He is God and he reveals himself (through an experience). The “lower case” word of God is a witness to the “upper case” Word of God [Jesus], and the lower case word and become the upper case word through reading it and encountering Christ “the true word of God” within its pages.
Divine Dictation: AKA Mechanical Dictation- God dictated the words of scripture and man recorded them in a passive manner, like a secretary would write only as they were instructed to write.
Verbal Plenary Inspiration: literally means absolutely every word is inspired. Now there are people and pastors who claim this view, yet when pressed to explain would put limits on this.
What is inspiration? Most scholars want to limit “inspiration” to men speaking, or the words written, but the miracle of the Bible is far more vast than the mind of men can understand. Inspiration covers everything. Its the words and personalities God chose, the concepts, the organization of them, the translation of them. It is perfect and the only way it is perfect is because God only. Man had nothing to do with it other than being God’s instrument.
What God says about Inspiration:
What is inspiration? Let's cover everything the Bible says about Inspiration: This word only appears 2 time in the Bible.
[Rule of first mention is one precept on “how to study the Bible”]
Job 32:8- describes inspiration.
2 Timothy 3:16- declares inspiration.
Inspiration is given (in both verses) by God the Almighty through his scriptures to the spirit of man so that “the man of God” may be complete in understanding for what God wants him to do.
God gives the inspiration:
2 Peter 1:21
Inspiration through Dictation: God tells men what to write.
Isa 8:1
Inspiration without understanding:
Daniel 12
Inspiration through Revelation: Deut 29:29, Gal 1:11-12
Inspiration is not dependent on the man: John 11:47-53
Inspiration is not limited: Jeremiah 36 Who was inspired?
Many of Paul’s letters were not written (penned) by Paul, who was inspired?
God didn’t explain this process other than to let us know that ALL scripture is inspired by God. God did say how he was going to do it and he doesn’t need to. We are to believe God. Again this comes back to faith. Its spiritual. The bible is call by the bile as the sword of the spirit. Without God’s inspiration there is no spirit in this book and its not alive. Its a miracle.

Is the Bible Corrupted? Part 3- Knowing the Enemy's Strategy ["Can We Trust the Bible?"]
#knowingtheenemy'sstrategy #isthebiblecorrupted? #canwetrustthebible?
Welcome to This Week in the Word!
This is where I am sharing the work God is using to grow me. How I am preparing for his calling on my life, and being a witness to his glory. I am not a graduate of seminary, a theologian, or godly scholar. I am just a born again BIBLE believing disciple of Jesus.
My mission is to encourage people to seek God through reading his word.
This weeks study:
Is the Bible Corrupt? (Part 3) Understanding the Enemy:
Recap:
The word of God existed before the creation of the earth, and Jesus is the word of God made flesh. (John 1:1-4,13-14, Eph 3:9, 1 Pet 1:23, 1John 5:7, Rev 3:14)
God has said his word is pure, perfect, truth and that it lives and abides forever. He said he preserved it. He promised it would be available to us and that if we seek knowledge and understanding he would not hold it back from us. So the question is not if we have the word of God, but rather where is it? Which one of the 450 English versions is it?
There are lots of warnings to be not deceived. False teachers would come in amongst us and lead many astray, and they would do so with corrupted words and corrupted views.
“Keep your enemies closer”
The reason so many are deceived is because they are ignorant. They don’t know there is a war, or that they have an enemy! Heck, most don’t realize there is only one true Bible!
Strategy of war has alway been about understanding your enemy.
If you know your enemy, you know his weapons, and you know his strategy then you can resist his attacks until God defeats him once and for all.
Who is our enemy?
This is NOT a conclusive study of our enemy.
We have 3 enemies the Bible clearly shows us:
The World: (appears 453x’s) James 4:4
Our Flesh: (appears 420x’s) Jer 17:9, Gal 5:16-17
Satan: (appears 66x’s) Satan is just a Hebrew word that literally means adversary, but he has MANY titles and names in the Bible. Who is satan?
Out of 450 English versions of the Bible, there are only 3 that identifies our enemy by name!!!
Isa 14:9-16, (How do we know Lucifer is Satan? Eze 28:11-19, Gen 3:1, 2Co 11:14, Rev 12:9- Lucifer has many names and titles, I believe the Bible is written this way as a boobytrap. God will let you believe what you want, but truth is found when you study and rightly divide)
The Enemy’s Weapon- Starting in the Beginning:
There are far more than just 2 weapons our enemy uses but we are going to focus on the 2 I think are his most deadly: the word of God (sword of the spirit), and confusion.
The first “word of God” given to man: what to do- Gen 1:28-31, what to not do- Gen 2:15-17
The first corruption:
Satan took away from the word: Gen 3:1
Eve added to the word: Gen 3:2-3 (now the stage is set)
Satan uses his sin to deceive Eve Gen 3:4-5
Power (knowledge), Freedom (from all the rules), (To be like God, and do what you want)
First corruption of the new testament (Jesus is tempted by Satan in the wilderness after Jesus had fasted 40 days and night): Matt 4:1-11
How Satan used the word:
Matt 4:3-4, Satan “if thou be”, this is a tactic Satan uses called casting doubt, Mark 5:1-9
Matt 4:5-7, Satan takes away from and adds to scripture, and uses “if thou be” again: Psa 91:11-12
Matt 4:8-10, Satan reveals his motive again
How Jesus used the word:
Matt 4:3-4, Jesus answers by quoting Deut 8:4
Matt 4:5-7, Jesus quotes Deut 6:16
Matt 4:8-10, Jesus doesn’t argue against Satan’s power, he refers to the covenant he made with Isreal Deut 8:19
Confusion:
Definition: a mixture of things promiscuously, disorder, tumult, abashment; shame, distraction of mind, defeat
There is not a verse in the Bible that say Satan uses confusion, but here’s some scripture about it: 1 Cor 14:33, James 3:16
Confusion is the tool Satan uses in his strategy, and he uses it along with the word of God most commonly as we just saw in Matthew.
The Enemy’s Strategy:
He infiltrates:
Garden of eden- (Gen 3), Eze 28:13
Nation of Isreal- Scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees (John 8:31-45)
Disciples- Luke 22:1-7
Church- 2 Cor 11:13-15
Bible- added to and took away from the word
He imitates:
The most high (228x’s): Psa 83:18, Like the most high: Isa 14:14
Jesus Transfiguration: Matt 17:2, angel of light: 2 Cor 11:14
Lion of Judah: Rev 5:5, roaring lion: 1Pet 5:8
Coming on a white horse: Jesus: Rev 19:11, satan Rev 6:2
The holy trinity: 1 John 5:7, the unholy trinity: Rev 16:13
The word: 2 John 1:6-7
His house is not divided Matt 12:22-26

Investigating- "Can we trust the Bible?"
Series: Is the Bible Corrupted?
This weeks study: Part 2- WARNING: Be Not Deceived
As we start the journey of discovery, we look to the Bible and first read a word of warning
Be not deceived:
All deception, lies and counterfeits use a bases of truth: Gen 39:7-14,
Words of Warnings:
Against Being Ignorant: 9x why does this matter? Because ignorance is how you are deceived.
Against Being deceived: 10x
“Beware”: 28 times for a variety of things
“Take heed”: 126 times
Corrupt: 33 times
“Beguile(d)”: 10 times
The Bible is how God communicates to his people. Through his word he provides lots of warnings for believers to not be lead astray. This is for good reason. We have an enemy, the world and our flesh going against us.
Specific Warnings:
If you don’t have THE pure word, how do you know if your warnings are accurate?
Prophetic warnings: Old Testament prophets, Paul, and Jesus all gave warnings of corruption
There are corrupted words: 2 Cor 2:17
There are corrupted doctrines: Gal 1:6-8, Eph 4:14, 2Pet 3:16-17
There are corrupted views: 2The 2:1-3, Matt 7:15, 1John 4:1-6,
There are corrupted people (who disguise themselves as christians): Matt 13:36-43, Acts 20:28-32, 2Pet 2:1-3 (all of chapter 2), 2Cor 11:13-15, 2John 1:7, Jude :4-19
We are not to change the word of God!: Pro 30:5-6, Deu 4:2, Deu 12:33, Rev 22:18-19
Our hearts are Wicked:
God will allow naysayers to follow their wickedness into a false sense of self righteousness, and even be able to “use the word of God” to justify themselves Jer 17:9, 1 Cor 3:18-19 (Paul is quoting Job 5:13), 2Thes 2:9-12,
Gave us free will and God will give us over to the desires of our flesh: Psa 78:29, Psa 81:10-13, Psa 125:5, Rom 1:18-25,
We can error in the scriptures:
We need to approach the scriptures with caution. Prophets of old, Jesus, and the apostle Paul all spoke of people erring in reading the scriptures. (Note it was never the scriptures had error- this sets a president that God’s word is without error)
Matt 22:29, John 10:35, mark 12:27, 2Tim 2:18, when reading the scriptures you must rightly divide to keep from error 2Tim 3:16
How are we to respond?:
If you haven’t done so already, you need to trust in Jesus Christ’s death burial and resurrection otherwise you can’t discern spiritual things:1 Cor 2:6-14, Heb 11:6,
Read and study the word of God. 2 Tim 3:16
Mark them and separate from them: Phi 3:17-19 (comp-Rom 16:17), 1 Cor 14:38,

Is the Bible Corrupted? Part 1- How God Opened My Eyes [Investigating- "Can we Trust the Bible?"]
#isthebiblecorrupted? #howGodopenedmyeyes #canwetrustthebible #thisweekintheword #tinylifebigmission
Investigating- “Can We Trust the Bible?”
2nd Series: “Is the Bible Corrupted?”
Today’s study is Part 1: How God Opened My Eyes
Intro:
This study changed my view.
Ask yourself “Why are there so many versions of the Bible?”
How many version are there of the Quran?
Or the Torah?
According to google there are “more than 450 translations into English”. Ever wonder why that is? Is it about money? Is it an attack against God from satan?
Why do versions matter?
The answer is very simple, because Words matter. God said it and that settles it. Either God’s words are enough or they are not. This is what faith is about!
The Bible says it is available: Deu 30:10-14, Romans 10:4-13
The Bible says it is Pure: Psalms 12:6
The Bible says it is Perfect: Psalms 138:2
The Bible says it is Settled in heaven: Psalms 119:89
The Bible says it is Preserved: 1 Peter 1:25, Psa 12:6-7
This means that there has to be a version of the Bible that is the pure word of God, perfect and preserved here on earth.
Its an issue of authority. There is absolute truth. God says he is our authority and he speaks to us through his word.
Choice of 2, only 2. God or “other” and you can’t serve both: Mat 6:24, Jas 1:8, Jas 4:8
His word has authority: Luk 4:32, 36
His word is Absolute Truth: John 17:17
None of the “versions” say the same thing so which one is correct? Which one has authority? God said his word is perfect and that he preserved it, so either that is true or it is not. YOU picking which version of the Bible YOU like isn’t submitting to authority, but rather it you elevating yourself to authority in YOU deciding based on YOUR preferences of what YOU like best.
Which is easier to believe? A or B?
Only one version??? WHAT!!!
Isn’t that divisive to say that there is only one version? I thought Jesus was about love, peace
God is divisive. He created our world by division: Gen 1:4
Jesus came to bring division: John 7:43, Luke 12:51
The way of Jesus is narrow, exclusive and singular: Matt 7:13-23
Are the differences between versions enough to matter? Are the changes attacking the instructions of the Bible?
Isa 14:12 KJV says Lucifer, correctly identifying who was thrown out of heaven, why do all other versions take out his name? And some versions even give Satan a title that belongs to Jesus!!! Why would they do that?
2 Tim 3:16 KJV says to study the word of God. Every other version takes out that word and changes it to something else, why? Is the word study too archaic?
1Tim 6:20 every version changes the word science, Why?
“Act 7:45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;” Jesus is who brought the tabernacle into the promise land, why does every version change it to Joshua?
1 Tim 6:10 every version adds to the word all, why?
There are many more examples that I will dive deeper in later episodes of this series.
“Ancient manuscripts”, “Greek” and “Hebrew”:
First there are none of those “original” documents around today. Even IF there were no one could read them. Coin A greek is not the same as what’s spoken today, it's been dead for over a 1000 years. The old Hebrew has been dead for over 3000 years.
Do you have faith in God’s abibllity to preserve his word or do you have faith in the Scholars (AKA men)?

What is the Bible? (Part 6) The Final Word- Investigating "Can we trust the Bible?"
#thisweekintheword #canwetrustthebible? #thefinalword #investigatingthebible #whatisthebible
Our Topic: How do we know the Bible is Real?
Our Series in the Topic: What is the Bible? (Part 6) The Final Word
A word of thanks:
I have never been on camera, or lead bible studies. This first series has been an adjustment for me, not just in learning how to edit videos and work with this technology, but how to prepare and deliver material from the word of God as I study it. This is part of my year of preparation.
Recap:
At the start of this series we looked at what the Bible is, how it is comprised, how the world perceives the Bible, and even how some "christian" institutions define the Bible.
We then looked at the purpose of the Bible. Now there are lots of arguments for what the Bible is about or the purpose of it. Ultimately the Bible is God's spoken word, recorded by men, that God has kept pure and preserved. This is fundamental.
Truth: It is not possible for there to be one error, or one lie in this book. Either God gave us his word, and it is just as he is, without err, or God is weak and unable to keep his word. In which case none of this matters. This is where faith comes in. We are saved by grace through faith, and we are to walk with God in faith.
Ephesians 2:8-
2 Corinthians 5:7-
Rom 10:17-
Faith is defined in the Bible as:
Hebrews 11:1-
The war of 2 kingdoms:There are beings that are not human, not of this world, in fact they are not of this dimension. Some are good and some are evil. They have free will just as we do. We don't fully understand it but Satan declared that he will overthrow God, starting the war and a third of the heavenly hosts took his side. Ever since his fall Satan has imitated and infiltrated everything of God's. The war is ongoing and our very souls hang in the balance. We know how it will end, yet it is our choice to which side we will serve. There will not be one person without excuse: Rom 1:18-25
Condition of the Heart:Everything in this world comes down to a condition of our heart. Every choice we make is a reflection of what is important to us. God is able to see to our core. The intrinsic side of ourselves that no one knows. Its the core of our motive. The bible says our hearts are wicked and not to be trusted. It says that in the heart is where we commit sin. Most importantly that in the heart is where we believe unto salvation.
Most importantly we looked at What the Bible says about itself. The Bible says it is written by God, it is true, pure, holy, settled in heaven, eternal, and preserved. You can trust the Bible and know it is real because it is God (not the actual book, but the words). 1Jo 5:7
Sumary:
The Bible is not just a list of wise metaphors. Its also not a "outdated", "archaic", or "sexist" book. It wasn't written by men who desire to have power, although through history evil men have used it as such. Although we can benefit from all of the Bible, not all of it is written directly to us. The Bible is a unified work and must be carefully read, studied, and divided into the correctcontext.
God created the physical realm we live in, that we can see, taste and touch. This world is cursed and will end in death. God created a spiritual realm that is invisible and eternal. Throughout history God has allowed us views into this spiritual realm to show us what he wants us to know. He has interacted with his creation, giving them himself in book form- his Holy Word, calling them to believe in, worship and serve him because he is the Holy God, creator of all. In short God allows us to choose, not in word, but in action. God is most interested in our heart, our motivation. The true reason. Not what we say or show with fake actions. The heart is the true us that only God knows. The bible reference the word "heart" 830 times! Most importantly it says our hearts are deceitful above all things, and so wicked that it can even fool us. Everything with God comes down to an issue of our heart
[Mat 13:15
Just like our physical bodies, our spiritual bodies need food to strengthen us. The bible says it is the it is the bread of life. Christians who want to please God in their lives need to have a regular spiritual diet of God's Word. Those who are not believers but who may be interested or even skeptical should read the Bible for themselves and see what it is all about.

What is the Bible?(Part 5)What Does the Bible Say About Itself?-Investigating Can we trust the Bible
#whatisthebible #isthebibletrue? #whatdoesthebiblesayaboutitself? #thisweekintheword #godvsbible #investigatingthebible
This weeks study:
Topic: How do we know the Bible is Real? Is the Bible true?
Series in the Topic: What does the Bible say about itself? (Part 5)
Welcome to This Week in the Word!
Called to share the work God is using to grow me. How I am preparing for his calling on my life, and being a witness to his glory. I am not a graduate of seminary, a theologian, or godly scholar. I am just a born again BIBLE believing disciple of Jesus Christ.
Mission: To encourage people to seek God through reading his word.
Lets talk about Names and Titles: we know these words and use them every day but most of us don’t stop and think about their meaning or how important their meanings are. Names are vital in communication. Its how we identify and rightfully know how to interact with the named person, place or thing. Names tell us who or what we are interacting with. Titles reveal the position, rank, distinction or designation of said name.
The why: its crucial when looking to the Bible to understand the names and titles that its gives itself, and that those names and titles are given by God. If they didn’t matter God wouldn’t have used them. They are used to teach us:
The level of reverence we are to use. So we don’t just become so comfortable with the Bible and treat it like any other book.
The level of authority it carries.
The purpose for it
Where it comes from
Names:
Scriptures (x21): Matt 21:42, Matt 22:29, Luke 24:45, John 5:39, 2Pet 3:16,
Scripture (x32): 2Tim 3:16, 2 Pet 1:20
Writing (x38 but this is the only verse that speaks to God’s writing): Exo 32:16
Writings (x1): John 5:47
“Word” occurs 697 time in the Bible:
The Word (x454, not all apply): Deu 30:14, John 1:1, Mark 4:14,
My word (x14): Num 20:24, Isa 55:11, John 5:24, John 8:31
Word of God (x48): Acts 17:11-13, Luke 4:4, Luke 11:28
Words of the lord (x255): Psl 12:6, 1Pet 1:25
Word of Christ (x1): Col 3:16
Word of truth (x5): 2Tim 2:15
Oracles of God (x3): Romans 3:2, Heb 5:12, 1Pet 4:11
lively oracles (x1): Acts 7:38
*I am sure this is not every name used of itself in the Bible, this is just what I found in my study
What does the Bible say about itself:
The Bible has a lot to say about itself and for lots of reasons (which it explains). The book of Psalms is the longest book in the Bible with 150 chapters. Chapter 119 of Psalms is the longest chapter in the Bible with 176 verses. Psalms 119 is the latest concentration of verses in one place speak about what the Bible is. If you haven’t read it for yourself, DO IT! Of course that is not the only place in the Bible that speaks to itself. This is what the Bible says about itself:
It is our comfort/joy: Psalms 119:82- Psalms 119:162- Jeremiah 15:16-
Our source of hope: Psalms 119:81- Psalms 119:114-
Our strength/assurance: 1 Thessalonians 1:5-
It is the sword of the spirit:Ephesians 6:17- Hebrews 4:12-
Its gives life: Matthew 4:4- Philippians 2:16-
It gives Salvation:1 Peter 1:23- John 20:31- Ephesians 1:13-
Instruction in righteousness (keeping us from sinning): Jeremiah 35:13- Psalms 119:11- Psalms 119:105- James 1:22-
There are no private interpretations: 2 Peter 1:20-
It is truth:John 17:17- Psa 119:160- 2 Timothy 2:15- James 1:18-
It is pure: Psalms 119:140- Proverbs 30:5- Psalms 12:6-
It is holy: Psalms 138:2- IRomans 1:2- 2 Timothy 3:15-
Its settled in heaven, eternal, preserved, not be broken:Psalms 119:89- 1 Peter 1:25- Psalms 68:11- 2Timothy 3:16- Isaiah 55:11-
THE BIG REVEAL TO HOW WE KNOW THE BIBLE IS REAL!!! BECAUSE IT IS GOD!:
I am not the first person to say this...
John 1:1-3- John 1:14- 1 Peter 1:23- 1 John 5:7-
Revelation 3:14- Revelation 19:11- Revelation 19:13-
This Bible is our gift of salvation Ephesians 2:8- Romans 10:17-
What is the gift?John 3:16- John 1:14- Psalms 138:2-
Jesus is the word of God, and the corner stone of our faith:
Isaiah 28:16- 1 Peter 2:6- 1 Peter 2:7- Matthew 21:42- Ephesians 2:20-
Action to take:
Recap: we have looked at the names the Bible gives for itself as well as the applications it gives for itself. We know it is the given by God, authoritative, perfect, holy, unbroken, and eternal. The word of God speaks truth and guides our lives. The reason this word has authority, and is perfect and is holy, is because it is God. This is the one thing that has been perfect since the world was created and it has not changed. This word is the only guide we have to know and understand our Creator. I hope this has compelled you to take action. If you are ready but don’t know what to do here are some instructions from scripture:
Read Gods word! Matthew 19:4-
Study God’s word! 2 Timothy 2:15-
Share God word! 2 Timothy 2:2-

What is the Bible?(Part 4)What Does Jesus Say About Mans Heart-Investigating"Can we trust the Bible?
#whatisthebible? #whatdoesJesussayaboutmansheart #canwetrustthebible #investigatingthebible #thisweekintheword #godvsman
This weeks study:
Topic: How do we know the Bible is Real? Is the Bible true?
Series in the Topic: What is the Bible? (Part 4) Major theme: Condition of the Heart
Topic of the heart:
Importance: the word heart appears 830 times in the Bible.
What does “heart” mean?
1. Primary organ of the blood’s motion- 2 Kings 9:24
2. The inner part of any thing; the middle part or interior; - Matthew 12:40
3. The chief part; vital part; vigorous or efficacious part. The heart of the matter. - Mark 12:33
4. The seat of the affections and passions; Deceitful- Jeremiah 17:9 , Evil- Proverbs 12:20, Unbelieving- Hebrews 3:12, Heavy- Proverbs 25:20, Sorrow- John 16:6, Righteous- Proverbs 15:28, Proud- Proverbs 16:5, Favor- 2 Samuel 14:1
5. The seat of the understanding: 1 Kings 3:9, Proverbs 3:5
6. The seat of will; determined purposes, intentions or designs. Disposition of mind. Daniel 1:8, Ecclesiastes 8:11
7. Secret thoughts; recesses of the mind.Judges 16:17, 2 Samuel 6:16
8. Secret meaning; real intention.- 1 Corinthians 14:25
9. Conscience, (or sense of good or ill): - 2 Samuel 24:10
10. Strength; power of producing; vigor; fertility.- Psalms 38:10, Psalms 73:26
To simplify one could say the heart is the innermost core part of a person where all decisions, beliefs, motives and thoughts are kept secret and private from all other people. The heart is what makes you, you.
The key text for the study of this theme is: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
What does the Bible say about Man’s heart:
The condition of Man’s heart: Jeremiah 17:9 Genesis 6:5
The heart is where sin is committed: Matthew 5:28 Matthew 9:4 Psalms 14:1
How the heart is revealed: Matthew 6:21, Luke 12:34 Matthew 12:34 Luke 6:45
Jesus’s teaching about Man’s heart: (also recorded in Mark 7:14-23)
Mat 15:1-20 T
God’s will verses Man’s will:
God’s will is not being done: The Lords’s Prayer: Matthew 6:10 T
There are levels to God’s will: Romans 12:2
God will give us over to the desires of our heart:
Jesus was human in every way we are (yet without sin) and he had free will too: Matthew 26:39
Case study:
Adam and Eve were allowed to eat
Cain killed able
People got so bad that God flooded the earth
Noah got drunk and sinned
Abraham and Sarah sinned
Jacob slept with a whore who turned out to be his granddaughter in law
Joseph’s brothers plotted to kill him but sold him into slavery instead
Pharo would not let Gods people go
Moses couldn’t enter the promise land
Children of Isreal worshiping the caff
David wasn’t able to build God’s temple
Children of Isreal went whoring after Baal
The Jews killed their king
Jesus laid down his life
Peter denied christ
Paul chose to kick against the pricks
Mark 10:2-9
God has communicated to his creation in different methods in different periods of time. In this age God uses the Bible to speak to his people, yet most of us don’t read his holy words and miss the warnings, instructions and blessings from his word.
Psalms 81:12 Psalms 125:5 Jeremiah 13:10 2 Timothy 4:3
In the heart is where salvation lies:
Romans 10:9
John 14:6
Transforming the desires of our heart:
EVERYTHING the world says is wrong! We are to be separate from the world, to be different from the world, in fact we are against the world:
1 Peter 1:16,2 Corinthians 6:15-17,Exodus 19:5Titus 2:14
1 Peter 2:9
James 4:4
Philippians 2:15
1 John 2:15-16
How do we know how to do all of this? By reading his word, back to the key text: Hebrews 4:12
God’s expectation for us:
To love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul and mind:
Matthew 22:37 Mark 12:33 Luke 10:27 Deuteronomy 6:5
Do we seek the Lord? 2 Chronicles 12:14
Do we please God? Hebrews 11:6
Do we follow our savior with his people? 2 Timothy 2:22
Do we give our life as a living sacrifice unto The King of Kings? Ephesians 5:1-21
I believe the condition of the heart to be an ongoing battle for the life of the believer. I pray you will choose to spend more time reading his word. Even if its one verse!

Welcome to This Week in the Word!

How do we know the Bible is Real?
What is the Bible? (Part 3) WAR over 2 Kingdoms
The Two Kingdoms:
Matthew is the only book that uses therm Kingdom of Heaven, it also speaks of the Kingdom of God, so we know they are different (although some “scholars” will say they are the same).
The spiritual Kingdom (referenced in the Bible as “Kingdom of God”):
Luke 17:20-21, Rom 14:17, Eph 6:12
The physical Kingdom (referenced in the Bible as “Kingdom of Heaven”):
Matt 11:12, Matt 7:21, Matt 8:11, Matt13:11
The War Begins:
Lucifer is the first being we see in scripture who was given stewardship for both crowns:
Spiritual: Eze 28:14
Physical: 2Cor 4:4 ,Matt 4:8-9
Fall of Lucifer: Isa 14:13-15
Fall of Heavenly Hosts: Jude 1:6, Rev 12:9
History of the War Past:
Recreation of earth, and mankind: GEN 1:2-2:3
Adam held both crowns: Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image (physical), after our likeness (spiritual):
Man was created to serve. Gen 1:28, 2:16-17, 3:17-19, Deu 10:12 , Rev 22:3, Exo 7:16, Matt 4:10, Luke 16:13, John 12:26, Rom 16:18, Rev 7:15
Fall of man: Gen 3:7-11
Adam: At the fall Adam lost both the kingdoms and there would not be another to hold both crowns of stewardship on earth again until Jesus came. John 3:5-6, Gen 5:1-2
Man’s sin nature: Gen 2:17, Rom 6:23, 1John 3:4
Man’s need for salvation: Heb 9:22, John 3:5-6, 1 Thes 5:9, Rom 5:12, 18-19
Noah: God established a new ruler over the earth who was Noah (Gen 9:1- same instruction God gave Adam). After the flood Noah loses the authority by getting drunk and sinning (Gen 9:21-24).
Unconditional Covenant (Abraham) Abram: God gave him land (Gen 15:18-21), the promise of a people with conditions (Gen 17:1-14).
Established his People/Nation (Isaac)- Then the crown is passed to Isaac (a type of Jesus- sacrificial lamb), then God established his people in Isaac’s son Jacob. God changes Jacob’s name to Israel (Gen 35:10-12) and his 12 sons become the 12 tribes of his people, the children of Israel (Num 2).
Gave his Law (Moses): ten commandments (Ex 20:1-17, Deu 5:1-21)
Fulfilled his promise of land (the book of Joshua)
Lineage of Kings (Books of 1&2 Kings, and 1&2 Chronicles):
God gave them David From there is a whole list of kings listed through both books of kings and both books of chronicles.
Time of Captivity (Books: Ezra-Ester, Isaiah-Malachi):
Kingdom is offered (the gospels): Jesus held both crowns (son of man, son of God) Matt 3:15-17 , John 1:32-34. Jesus spent the next 3.5 years preaching for the Jews to submit to him as their King.
Jesus was sent to be the savior to the jews, and if they would have excepted him there would be no church age. Matt 10:5-7, Matt 15:22-24
Jesus’s salvation was only offered to the gentile after the jews rejected him
History of the War Present:
Church Age (Acts is the transitional Book): When they rejected him, murdered him, the Jews missed their opportunity (which closed in Acts 7), then entered the church age where God opened to the gentiles to make the jews jealous (Rom 11:11). Jesus purchased a new people with the shedding of his blood, to be his possession and reward. (Act 20:28, Rom 1:16, 1 Cor 6:19-20, Eph 1:14)
History of the War Future:
Isa 53 is a good reference for future events
Rapture: Rev 1-3 are all about the church, in 4:1-2 John experiences the rapture and the church is never spoke of in the rest of revelation. 1Thes 4:15-17
Tribulation: is a period of punishment for the jew. Rev 4-18, Matt 24:21, JER 30:7
Millennial Reign: Rev 20:1-5
New Earth: Rev 21:1,
Changing how we read the Bible:
War over physical and spiritual:
There is a connection between both dimensions: Mat 18:18
Knowledge of the war calls us to action:
Eph 6:13-18 1 Pet 4:1-2, 2Tim 4:1-8, 2 Tim 2:3-4, 1 Tim 6:11-12, 1John 4:4,
Dispensations:
God’s character never changes (he is the unchanging God- Mala 3:6, 2 Tim 2:13, Matt 24:35). How he deals with his creation throughout time does change, this is called dispensational grace. Think of it like how a dad deals with children as they grow. A good dad wouldn’t treat his 18 year old the same way he does his new born. 2Timothy 2:15

What is the Bible? (Part 2) TRUTH!- Investigating "Can we trust the Bible?"
#whatisthebible? #isthebibletrue #TRUTH #canwetrustthebible? #investigatingtheBible #thisweekintheword
This weeks study:
Topic: How do we know the Bible is Real? Is the Bible True?
Series in the Topic: What is the Bible? (Part 2) Major theme: Truth
The bible is the "doctrine" given by God to man so that we can know truth. The word doctrine means: 1) the general sense of whatever is taught, 2) the act of teaching, 3) learning or knowledge. The Bible is a book of truth, teaching a consistent message throughout it about what is truth and what isn't. Ultimately the truth of the Bible is the basis of Christian doctrine. This is where faith enters the picture. Either you believe or you don't.
Psalms 33:4
2 Corinthians 6:7
2 Timothy 2:15
James 1:18
Ephesians 1:13
John 1:14
Romans 10:17
The battle of absolute truth vs false truth started with Satan in the garden of eden when he said "yea hath God said". Notice that Satan never uses an all out lie. The bible says that satan is a liar, and the father of it. Satan is continually attempting to deceive christians by planting false doctrine:
Genesis 3:1
John 8:44
1 Corinthians 14:26
1 Peter 5:8
1 John 4:1
Isaiah 5:20
The knowledge of false truth, shows us the need for absolute truth. Not all roads lead to salvation. Not all things are truth, even if they seem good on the surface:
Matthew 7:13-14
John 14:6
Ephesians 4:14-15
2 Timothy 3:16-17
There are many other references in the Bible that speak of the importance of truth, and how God and his word are that truth. Without truth we are lost and have no compass to point us north. The Bible is the only thing in this world that is true. The only thing to keep us from being deceived. Without this book as our foundation, our measuring stick, our guide, we will be deceived. This is why it is so important to be reading your bible. My hope is that you will engage and study your bible with me. God is real! His living word is real! READ YOUR BIBLE!

Welcome to the first Episode of This Week in the Word!
Our Topic: How do we know the Bible is Real?
Our Series in the Topic: What is the Bible? (Part 1)
Facts about the Bible:
The word Bible comes from a greek word (bibleos) that means "Books", because the Bible is a book of books. It is comprised of 66 books, (39 old testament/27 new testament).
The 39 old testament books were written over roughly a thousand year period of time (from 1500 to mid 5th century BC)
The 27 new testament books were written over a period of about 50 years, starting in the late 30's/early 40's AD.
The timeline of the Bible spans over various centuries (Sumerian era, Babylonian era, Egyptian era, Persian era, and the Roman reign)
It is the most accurate historical source for BC dating back to 4000BC, and is used in science as the usher's timeline.
The writings were comprised over 3 continents
No other book has used upwards of 40 human contributors
The Bible was recorded by people from diverse occupational backgrounds: son of Pharaoh (Moses), a king (David), a tax collector (Matthew), a doctor (Luke), a war general (Joshua), a music artist (Asaph), the worlds wisest philosopher (Solomon), a government leader (Daniel), professional fishermen (Peter, James and John), various prophets (the authors of Isaiah to Malachi in the OT), siblings of Christ (James & Jude), just to name a few.
The bible has been translated into more than 1000 languages and dialects. No other book has ever been translated so much.
There have been over 200 versions recorded
Most printed book in the history of the world
Most regarded book in the history of the world
This book has changed more lives than any other book in the world
It is the all time #1 best seller of the world (fiction and other reglious writings)
What does the world say Bible is?
blog.biblesforamerica.org
says the Bible is all about Jesus. (Starts with Jesus in Matt 1:1, and ends with Jesus in Rev 22:21)
biblica.com
says "The Bible is the account of God's action in the world, and his purpose with all creation." This company is the same that holds the world wide copy right to the New International Version of the Bible (NIV), and to Zondervan (for the US- Hodder & Stoughton for the UK). They also state the Bible is "a guide for living life to the fullest", "A store house of wonderful stories for children and grownups".
wikipedia.com
says "The Bible is a collection of religious texts or scriptures sacred to Jews, Samaritans, Christians and others. It appears in the form of an anthology, a compilation of texts of a variety of forms that are all linked by the belief that they are collectively revelations of God."
thespectrum.com says the Bible's purpose is twofold: 1) to show us we have all broken God's laws and are guilty, (ultimately showing us our need for a savior), 2) "at the same time the center and whole point of Bible concerns Jesus. Jesus is the savior."
billygraham.org
says "The Bible deals with timeless questions: Who are we? Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? How should we live?", and states some common themes: "God's relationship with the human race", "The central theme of the Bible issalvation, and the central personality of the Bible isChrist", "From Genesis to Revelation we see God's great plan unfold–His plan to win a lost humanity back to Himself"
gotquestions.org
says "The Bible is great literature and the all-time number-one best-seller. It contains history, entertaining stories, poetry, philosophy, and personal letters. But, more than that, the Bible is God's Word. If we have to speak of a single purpose of the Bible, it would be to reveal God to us. There are many things that we could never know about God unless He told them to us. The Bible is God's self-revelation to humanity. The Bible also tells us who we are. It tells us of our sin and of God's plan of salvation in Jesus Christ."

My encounter with Jesus. Does God speak to us? Does God exist?
#myencounterwithjesus #doesgodspeaktous? #calledtoshare #doesgodexist?
My encounter with Jesus happened on January 8th when I died in my sleep. I know this may seem a little wild, but its true. This really happened!
Does God speak to us? Does God exist? This has been a question that all humans ask at some point in their life. This video is the first of a Tiny Life Big Mission series called This Week in the Word, where Mike will be sharing what he has been studying to follow the instruction God gave him in his year of preparation.
God is real, and the evidence is all around us. Evidence that shows that God is not the only entity among us. There are evil spirits in this world as well.
Join me as I study God's word and seek understanding of things not explained in this broken world.
