"Do not judge," the most often used scapegoat of people who know they are doing something wrong. You call them out for behaving poorly or living in habitual sin and they "remind" you that, as a Christian, you are not supposed to judge them. Our culture seems heavyset against young marriage--marrying as early as your 20's or your late teens--in spite of the fact that that has been the norm for ages. It is only in recent decades, when Western Civilization became comfortable with a 78-year average lifespan, that someone decided everybody south of their 30's was "too young" to get married. Is there any truth to this? Is 18 old enough to join the military and carry a machine gun but too young to have a family? Is 18-years-old really too young to make that commitment? Is 25? Should we continue encourage young couples to remain unmarried until they have "enough money and education?" What does "enough" even mean? At what age should we consider getting married? Episode 10 of The CW’s “Naomi” premiered last week. You might be saying, “Naomi? Never heard of it.” That’s probably not the worst thing in the world because it’s a terribly written show, which is why its ratings are abysmal. However, this most recent episode of the CW series put some things on display for all to see that you might want to be aware of before you next think to put on mainstream TV for your family. If you thought that the long-running Nickelodeon show, Blue’s Clues, putting on a cartoon pride parade for toddlers hosted by a drag queen was appalling (making you a sane person), then you have seen nothing yet. The CW network is into something insidious and… well just watch and let me explain.

Is it virtuous or Christian to avoid offending people—to go out of your way to placate the PC mob? Is it emulating Christ to hide the truth under a bushel in order to avoid uncomfortable discourse? I did this video a little bit differently from my earlier ones in that I did not plan it, write an outline, or rehearse it. I just turned on the camera and started talking. So, forgive me if it seems a little bit unstructured. When God says in the scriptures, "do not fear," what many Christians translate that command into is, "fear nothing except for the subject of 'sex!' That horrid word ought to be cast into the fiery chasm from whence it came!" If you have ever so much as dropped the word 'sex' in a conversation at church, you can physically feel people around you tensing up with discomfort. Jokes aside, if I were out to get rich, I would not have turned to writing books--Christian books, no less. It is very hard to sell books that tell people the truth, rather than just what they want to hear. I started writing because I was not built by my creator to abide by lies--because I believe in the truth of God and that which has been passed down to us by Him. I started writing because He implanted me with a need to make the truth known, but my little voice could only make it so far. I believe in the importance of this book because I know who pushed me to write it. If I had written it for my own benefit, I am willing to bet it never would have been finished.
