Law Schools That Don't Teach Law
In the Declaration of Independence, one of the “self-evident truths” relied upon by Thomas Jefferson is that legitimate governments must always operate by the “consent of the governed.”
The Maryland Constitution is the supreme law of the State. It is the vehicle by which the “consent of the governed” is expressed in the form of contract. Simply put, if the actions of government officials are consistent with the constitution, then they can be said to have the consent of the people. But, if those officials act outside constitutional limits, then they do not have the people’s consent and are breaking the law.
So, knowledge of the Constitution is critical to the health and welfare of our State.
Which brings me to law schools.
Now, you may know that there are two law schools in Maryland. And that every graduate swears an oath to defend the Maryland Constitution. But did you know that neither of these law schools offers a course of study on the Maryland Constitution?
Hard to believe…
And the results are tragic. For example, for more than two years, the Maryland Governor and many other office holders have repeatedly and notoriously violated the law by declaring and enforcing unlawful lockdowns, mandates, business seizures, church closures, etc.
None of these edicts or orders are allowable under our Maryland Constitution. Regrettably, however, since few Marylanders (or their attorneys) know the law, few have been able to articulate and defend their God-given rights.
Well, that’s about to change.
When you elect me as Attorney General of Maryland, I will uphold my oath of office by defending your constitutional right to speak, to publish, to worship, to make your own medical decisions, to keep and bear arms and to oversee and direct the education of your children.
My fidelity will be to the Constitution of Maryland. Unlike most office holders and office seekers, I am familiar with its provisions and the American principles on which they are based.
My loyalty is to the citizens of Maryland. Not to the CDC nor the WHO, nor the World Economic Forum, nor any elected or selected bureaucrat.
I will use the influence of the office to encourage and support the revival of legal education that is based on the principles of liberty that are reflected in the documents of our founding.
Law schools – and all schools – should teach and promote the true American view of law and government that can be summarized like this:
There is a God. Our rights come from Him. The purpose of government is to protect God-given rights.
The government has no authority to protect your health. It’s supposed to protect your liberty so that you can protect your health.

HOW DO THEY KNOW?!
During a recent campaign event, a reporter shouted out a question to Kari Lake, the Republican nominee for Governor of Arizona. The reporter wanted her to comment on Donald Trump’s “false” claims that there was fraud associated with the 2020 election.
As you know, many in the mainstream media consistently refer to any claim about impropriety in the 2020 election as “the big lie.”
My question is simply this: How do they know?
How are they all so certain that there was no election fraud?
How could they have reached this negative conclusion?
I’m sure you are familiar with the maxim, “you can’t prove a negative.”
Notwithstanding this, the media assumes the truth of this negative statement. They offer no proof – no explanation.
They just make the assertion and expect the rest of us to consider it as a given. Well this is illogical. This is nonsense.
Their claim that there is no evidence of fraud or corruption is itself nothing more than a blithe assertion - without evidence or support - and actually impossible to prove.
So when you hear them talking about The Big Lie you know that they are lying.

Overreach
These days we hear a lot of complaining about “government
overreach.”
Many say that government has “gone too far” with their
lockdowns and their mandates. They’ve gone “over the line”
when they compel us to wear masks or undergo medical
procedures.
While I agree with the sentiment, I have a concern about this
type of argument...Let me explain.
If you say that a governor, went “too far” when he ordered
your restaurant to operate at 50 % capacity…
Or that he “overreached” by ordering members of your church
choir to sing with a mask on…
…aren’t you validating the false idea that he had any authority
in the matter at all?
Consider. If someone breaks into your home and steals your
TV, would you say that he “overreached” when he took your
computer as well?
You see, our State and our federal constitutions make it clear
that no governor, or any bureaucrat has authority to make law,
or to declare that any order or edict has the “force” of law.
And any attempt, by any branch of government, to enact or
enforce anything that violates the divinely given and constitutionally protected right of the people to worship, to assemble, to conduct business, to make their own medical decisions, is worse than a nullity.
No one, under any circumstance, has the authority to violate
the constitution. There is no covid exception to this. There’s
no emergency exception to this. There’s no exception to this at
all.
When government officials reach where they have no right to
reach, or go where they have no right to go, it’s not “overreach.”
It’s a crime. And it must be prosecuted.
If you elect me Attorney General, I will do that.

Self Identity
Hi this is Michael Anthony Peroutka and I have an important announcement, so please listen carefully.
Today – right now - I am announcing that I now “self identify“ as the Attorney General ofMaryland.
That’s right. I self identify as the Attorney General of Maryland.
Not only that, but – stay with me here - I am the attorney general who has read the constitution of Maryland. I am the AG who has studied the document and knows that, through that document you, the people, have granted certain powers to government and set limits on those powers.
No really - I self identify as the Attorney General who will investigate and prosecute government officials who have broken the law by locking down your family, closing your church, declaring your business to be nonessential, stealing the minds and perverting the hearts of your children, promoting violence, and demanding your submission to an experimental vaccine.
So, now that I have shared “my truth“ with you, you are required to treat me with the respect that “my truth“ demands.
So, my pronouns are Attorney General Michael Anthony Peroutka and Attorney General Michael Anthony Peroutka and Attorney General Michael Anthony Peroutka. You must always refer to me this way whether or not I am physically in your presence.
Your failure to affirm my new identity is disrespectful, hateful and totally “unwoke.“ Your punishment will be the loss of your liberty and your livelihood, and that punishment will extend to your children and to their children.
The very best way for you to “affirm” me is to vote for Michael Anthony Peroutka on November 8 and to donate to my campaign now – right now!!
Here’s the best part: if you vote for me and support me, then you can self identify as a free citizen of the free state of Maryland. You could self identify as someone who can use a firearm to defend yourself and your family and your country.
You could self identify as someone who lives in a lawful society where criminals are punished and where innocent life is protected and where there are honest elections. You can enjoy the exercise of God-given liberties, and you can pass them on to your posterity.
Then, like our founding fathers, your pronouns will be liberty and liberty and liberty. Thank you!

Stop Being Played For a Fool
Mark Twain once famously said that it is easier to fool a man than to convince a man that he has been fooled.
For more than two full years agents and agencies of national, state and local governments have been using a “health emergency” as an excuse to violate your God-given and constitutionally protected rights to assemble, to worship, to travel, to speak, to teach your own children, and to make your own medical decisions.
They have been trying to fool us but it’s time for us to stop being their fool.
If you lost your job, or were forced to accept an unwanted, experimental medical procedure in order to keep it…
If you lost your livelihood because a bureaucrat declared your business to be non-essential…
If your church was shuttered while liquor stores and casinos were open…
If you were prevented from being with family and loved ones during their last moments…
If your children were forced to wear unprescribed medical devices and stay locked down and isolated…
There are two things you should know, and it doesn’t matter what party you belong to or what color your skin is or what part of the world you came from.
The first is that none of the lockdowns or the mandates or the quarantines were lawful.
They were all unconstitutional. The governor and county executives and other bureaucrats that ordered these atrocities violated their oath to protect your rights.
Second, there is something you can do about it. There is a positive, constructive way for you to stop this criminality and to make sure it never happens again.
You can elect an Attorney General who will protect your right to live and work and educate your children and run your business and worship and assemble and speak freely.
You can elect an Attorney General who knows the constitution and is willing and able to defend it and to enforce it against enemies of America who want to destroy our borders, ruin our economy, steal the hearts and minds of our children.
My name is Michael Anthony Peroutka. I am the republican candidate for Attorney General of Maryland and that is the job I want to do for you and for your children and for our grandchildren.
This will not be easy, but it’s the right thing to do. It’s the American thing to do. It’s what our American ancestors did for us.
This is Michael Anthony Peroutka. Please vote for me in November and please support my campaign right now.

CONSPIRACY THEORY
Just a few days ago the Maryland Board of Elections certified the results of the July 19th primary.
I am honored and humbled to be chosen the Republican nominee for Attorney General of Maryland and I want to thank the Republican voters of Maryland for placing their trust in me.
I also thank all those who worked diligently on and contributed to our campaign effort.
One person who did not seem so happy about our victory was outgoing Governor Larry Hogan who took the opportunity to denounce me as a “conspiracy theorist”. Hogan reportedly based his criticism of me on remarks I made during a podcast back in 2006 about what I considered to be unanswered questions concerning the events surrounding the 9/11/2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.
Leaving aside the details of my questions regarding the official 9/11 report, I want to say something about conspiracies and about theories.
Does anyone really doubt that conspiracies actually do take place?
I mean “conspiracy” is actually a crime that is defined and punishable by law. If conspiracies did not exist, why would we have a law that forbids them and punishes them?
And, if conspiracies are, by their nature, secret or hidden things, and if law enforcement authorities investigate conspiracies in order to discover and uncover them in order to apprehend the conspirators and punish them, then don’t they conduct their investigation on the basis of a theory of what the subject of the conspiracy is and a theory of who is involved?
So, aren’t conspiracies and theories about them quite natural, everyday things?
Doesn’t everybody, in the normal course of their lives, speculate about what happened and who was involved. I know I do.
For example, I wonder whether Larry Hogan might have a political motive for criticizing me. I wonder if he “conspired” with anyone else to do it.
But that’s just my theory…

JUST GET THE DAMNED VACCINATION
In August of last year, Larry Hogan announced that he would require employees in 48 different Maryland state facilities to be injected with an experimental gene therapy. If they refused, he said, they would be subject to strict mask requirements and frequent invasive testing.
Summarizing his tyrannical and treasonous policy, he blurted “Just get the damned vaccination!”
This was a paraphrase of his earlier policy when he curtly ordered Marylanders to “Just wear the damned mask!”
Sadly, and tragically, this is what now passes for public policy in Maryland -- and elsewhere.
“Just do what you are told.”
The Office of Governor is established by, and draws its authority and power from, the Constitution of Maryland and from nowhere else.
The Constitution of Maryland specifically declares that no plea of emergency can ever justify a violation of the liberties that it protects, including the right of the people to be “secure in their persons” and to make their own medical decisions.
Hogan’s contempt for the Constitution – the contractual document which both grants and limits his authority – is treasonous and dangerous.
Even more dangerous and disappointing is the almost complete lack of response by the members of the General Assembly who didn’t display the political will nor the courage to articulate a defense of the constitution.
They have allowed their constituents to be violated and abused, and in some cases killed by the reckless and ruthless dictates of a governor who explains lawless policies with thuggish phrases like:
“Just wear the damned mask” and “Just get the damned vaccination.”
All lawmakers and all law enforcers and all citizens should send this message to Hogan and his cronies and commissars:
“Just follow the ________ Constitution!”
You can send this message by voting for Michael Anthony Peroutka for Attorney General in November, and by donating to my campaign now.
Thank you.

WHAT THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT
The nomination of Delegate Dan Cox as the Republican candidate for Governor of Maryland is a significant event.
The victory of Dan Cox over outgoing Governor Larry Hogan’s hand-picked successor is strong evidence that Maryland Republicans are, to say the least, dissatisfied with Hogan and with the republican establishment.
This didn’t stop Hogan from denouncing Cox and from announcing that he would not support Cox despite the strong approval of Republican voters.
This also didn’t stop Hogan from taking a swipe at me – calling me a conspiracy theorist -- even though my victory in the Attorney General contest was by a decisive margin.
So much for party unity.
But that’s understandable. And it’s alright.
I say this because I believe this election is about liberty and the restoration of constitutional government in Maryland.
The gross, notorious violation of the rights of Maryland citizens to assemble, to worship, to run a business, to make their own medical decisions, to actually (not “virtually”) participate in self-government must be restored and must never again be unlawfully – criminally – suspended or denied.
I am committed to this goal.
At Article One, Section 11, the Constitution of Maryland provides penalties for those who have violated their sworn oath to defend the rights of the inhabitants of Maryland.
As Attorney General I will rely on this and other Constitutional provisions to bring to justice those who have violated their oath of office.
The lawlessness and lack of safety and order in our culture and on our streets is promoted and protected by those in positions of trust whose allegiance is not to constitutional fidelity or the preservation of liberty but, rather is to foreign governments and unelected agencies such as CDC or WHO.
This election is about liberty.
Our slogan is:
Liberty Forever, Mandates Never.
This is Michael Anthony Peroutka, Republican Nominee for Attorney General, humbly asking for support and for your vote in November.
Thank you.

Dixie
For many years now, I have been an educator. I am also an amateur musician. I have frequently over the years augmented my teaching presentations by playing guitar and singing, often with audience participation.
There is a video circulating on social media which shows me finishing a presentation in Alabama by asking the audience to “Stand for the ‘National Anthem,’” following which I led the group in the well-known Southern song “Dixie.”
If you’ve seen this video, you know that my audience responded with a cheer and enthusiastically sang the first verse and refrain.
During my campaign for Attorney General, I have been asked questions about this video. Here is a generalized response encompassing the questions I have been asked.
Yes, that is me.
Yes, I sang the song to elicit a cheer from the crowd. I was playing to the local audience. I remember doing something similar in West Virginia years ago. Sensing the audience’s loyalty to their State, I asked them to stand for the ‘national anthem’ and then played the John Denver song “Country Roads” which begins “Almost heaven…West Virginia…”
Yes, they cheered too.
No, I don’t actually think that “Dixie” is the national anthem of the United States. Neither is “Country Roads.” I am well aware that “The Star Spangled Banner,” composed by Francis Scott Key of Frederick, Maryland, is the national anthem of these United States. No, I am not lobbying for any change.
No, my slightly off-key singing had nothing to do with race or racism. I don’t believe there is anything racist about the lyrics or the melody of the song “Dixie.” The song was composed by Daniel Decatur Emmett and was reported to be a favorite of Abraham Lincoln (born in Kentucky). It is reported that he had it played at many of his political rallies and at the announcement of the surrender of General Robert E. Lee.
No, I am not a racist. Like Dr. Martin Luther King, I believe that men should be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.
No, I am not advocating secession. For many years my chief goal has been the restoration of the American Constitutional republic and the defense of liberty.
