Chicago PD In summary on BWC a/o's observed the above vehicle traveling at a high rate speed away the vicinity of shots fire. A/o's then observed the vehicle committing multiple traffic violations and continued to follow the vehicle. As the offenders vehicle exited the alley a/o's observed the vehicle strike another vehicle then come to a rest on a utility pole. A/o janus approached the vehicle to conduct an investigatory stop, then gave the offender who was sitting by himself in the back seat nka multiple verbal commands to exit the vehicle, at which time he refused to comply. A/o eventually removed the offender from the vehicle. As a/o attempted to handcuff the offender he pushed a/o Janus causing his body worn camera to fall to the ground and attempted to run away on foot. A/o was able to regain control of the offender by using an emergency take down and then placed the offender into custody. A/o Janus returned to the vehicle and observed a handgun in sidelock on rear drivers side floor board, easily accessible to the offender. The handgun is known to be a blue steel 9mm Ruger ec9 with a three inch barrel, 6 round capacity. Offender is also a convicted felon Music: www.bensound.com

Chicago PD Responding to a 911 call of shots fired, the Officer arrives as the suspect is still firing. After failing to comply with commands, the officer shoots at the suspect. It is unclear whether he was hit or not as the SWAT team called failed to find a suspect in the house that he was believed to be barricaded in. In the responding officers body camera footage, it is believed that the suspect tried to murder the man lying on the floor in the garage. News articles reported that there were two victims transported to the hospital. There is no SWAT footage available, currently at least. If anything more is released, it'll be here on my channel. Chicago PD The Chicago Police Department was notified of shots fired near the 3600 Block of West Douglas Boulevard. Once in the area responding officers were given a description of the suspected individual by a local resident. After locating the individual, officers verbally engaged but were ignored as the suspect continued down an alley in the direction of other responding officers. Officers again verbally engaged the individual who then discharged a firearm, striking two officers. Officers returned fire striking the suspect. Both officers and the suspect were transported to local hospitals and survived their injuries.
