How to fix sprinkler head when it won't go down - temporary #short
Sprinklers eventually sink down and have grass & dirt build up under it, which prevents the sprinkler head from going down when the water shuts off.
This is what I did, it may work for you, which could save you some money by not having to replace it or having someone break it off cause it's in the up position all the time.
You can simply use your finger or screwdriver to loosen the grass and dirt under it, and gently pull the sprinkler up to clear any dirt and other small debris which may prevent your sprinkler head from retracting.
Fix it now! Before you or someone else drives over it and you have to dig it up to replace the whole pop-up & head. Plus know where your water shut-off valve is!!

Why your Instant Pot may not pressure well - How to Clean the vents
Wondering why your Instant Pot take a longer time to pressurize or it just doesn’t seem to work like when you first got your Instant Pot? This video is how to take apart, clean, & reassemble your Instant Pot cover so your vents function like new!
I have a 8 quart (I said 6 qt in video but they function the same) and 3 quart Instant Pots and use one or both daily! They're great for cooking rice, steaming potatos, making stews, and prepping my pup's homemade food!
You can buy a 3 quart at this Amazon link: https://amzn.to/2O30q9t
The 8 quart Instant Pot is at this link: https://amzn.to/2Q8ED2W

Garden Update in Northeast TN middle Aug
▶ Check out my gear on Kit: https://kit.com/mlehua
Update on my garden as summer winds down. I had hoped to plant seeds for winter harvesting, but I take the risk that the seeds won't survive as I'll be away for nearly two weeks and then there's more coming as to what will happen to my garden during the Fall and Winter...

Green Bean Harvest 4 varieties U of TN Garden Trials: Mascotte, Calima, 2 blind trials #UTIA #UT
University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture: Home Garden Trails 2019: 4 different varieties of green bush snap beans: Mascotte, Calima, 2 Blind trials #138 and #727. I planted these green beans at the end of April 2019 and this is an update on Aug 14, 2019. Due to huge amounts of rain when these seeds were initially planted, the growth was very slow - I also soaked them before planting so that made it worse. The Mascotte, Calima, and Blind Trial #138 germinated but the #727 was a total fail - so I replanted the #727 about a month ago and almost all germinated, no pre-soak, and I also replanted the other varieties as the growth was so slow and the bugs destroyed all but the Mascotte. Only now in mid Aug are all the varieties producing a good amount of beans. Only the #138 is producing larger beans, the other three varieties are thin. A runner up would be the Mascotte - but all in all - I would probably grow a different variety than all of these and just grow long green beans and purple long beans as there was no issue with germination, production and they are climbers so it's easier to harvest. I would say they all taste the same so there's no real reason to grow these varieties up in NE Tenn - we're 1700 above sea level.
