October 14th Solar Eclipse. Got 75% coverage with 3 nice sunspots and beautiful skies!
My first DSLR recorded solar eclipse time lapse. It's a big difference from back in the day when all I had was a cellphone mount to my telescope. Much more crisp and clear images.

Jupiter 10/14/2022
First use of the EQ6r-Pro mount and revised focal length barrel. Unfortunately the camera has a nasty hot pixel right smack in the middle of the screen. Currently looking up ways to delete it in stacking.

Jupiter/Saturn conjunction December 21, 2020
I'm terribly sorry about jostling of the image. I had no time to polar align. This was literally right after dusk and I had precious few minutes to film. I couldn't even do a Registax wavelet image because of the image moving around so much, but I got what I could for the sake of recording. This was recorded from 5:22pm to 5:24pm December 21, 2020.
I was able to use AutoStakkert to make a clean monochrome image here: https://puu.sh/H0H6s/2f41efd88c.png

This is a prime example of a republican Rhino refusing to recognize he's a Democrat.
Maggie is no Christian. He's a fake Christian Rhino Republican. The proof is in the pudding. I'm a true apostate. I recognize my abandonment, and I also know the fakers from the real. Maggie is most definitely a faker. Maggie is NOT a real Christian. I don't know any Christians that do not know what an apostate is. Just for the record ( once again because I've said this many times ), there are 2 things I live for on youtube; 1: Destroying flerfers, and 2: Exposing fake Christians.

First test of DSLR with Jupiter and Galilean Moons
The tests are coming along great except like the idiot I am, forgot to bring the remote shutter switch with me so I couldn't do any still shots without the camera shaking everywhere so I just got video. I promise I'll be getting still shots the next clear night.

Trey Jadlow Kyzer and Trey Chat About Evolution
I was warned prior to about Trey Jadlow bailing at the first sign of being challenged with empirical evidence and I expected no less. He offered an invite and I couldn't just pass up possibly entertaining chat. His wordplay was boring at best to me, and my practical approach was annoying at best to him.

Saturn double oscillation
Many know about Saturn's rings' 30 year cycle in which they oscillate to and from the same pole every 30 years because of Saturn's parallax as it goes around the Sun.
What most people, and even amateur astronomers are not aware of is that Saturn has a " short " oscillation for every Earth year inside of the " long " Saturn year oscillation which is due to the Earth's own stellar parallax.

Full, raw, uncut November 11th 2019 Mercury transit time lapse from beginning to end.
This is the complete footage I recorded of the November 11th Mercury transit time lapse. Best watched with a black background in a dark room. I couldn't catch the very beginning because the transit started minutes after sunrise and I had about 2 degrees of obstruction at the horizon. I was able to successfully record 95% of the transit including the black drop effect at the end.
Equipment used:
Meade LX70R8 telescope.
Meade #950 solar filter.
EQ5 Equatorial mount polar aligned before dawn and includes R/A and Dec. motors.
15mm ED W/A lens.
and for the camera I was using a plain ol' ZTE971 celllphone mounted onto the 15mm lens.

Mercury Transit November 11, 2019 Raw footage upload 1.0
This is about 1.1 hours of the Mercury transit footage I recorded towards the middle of the transit. I'll be uploading a full video of the transit timelapse style for better viewing within the next 24 hours. I just figured some folks out there might like to look at some raw unedited footage first.
For any peer reviewers, I used a reflector telescope and did not flip the image so any data model you pit my footage against will show the position of Mercury upside/down and rightside/left.
My equipment:
Meade LX70R8 telescope.
Meade #950 solar filter.
Equitorial mount polar aligned.
15mm ED W/A lens.
and for the camera I was using a plain ol' ZTE971 celllphone mounted onto the 15mm lens.
