Why I Prefer Rural Living | A Slow Day Around the Homestead
Hello lovelies it's Bridget. I am very happy that you're joining me in this video as we take it slow around the homestead and enjoy the beauty of the rural countryside. I hope that this video can bring you peace and joy and serve to help us both escape our worries for a while. I also wanted to discuss a little bit about why I prefer rural living to urban, city life. I hope this video also serves as a reminder that it's ok to embrace simplicity and choose to spend time doing what you love and what makes you happy. And whether or not you too are a dreamer or romantic, be blessed⚘

A Slow Living Self Care Day During Troubled Times
Hello my lovelies and welcome back. It's finally time to take a slow self care day at home and enjoy some pampering time. I'm excited to show you my homemade recipe for making my own body butter to naturally treat dry skin and follow up with some natural haircare and heatless styling techniques.
A little more about making my own skincare products:
I am in love with tallow ever since being introduced to it last year. This nourishing ingredient is perfect for use as a hydrating, deeply moisturizing body butter and leaves your skin feeling soft and replenished after use. Perfect for self care in winter when our skin is dry and sometimes wind-chapped or cracked, this body butter recipe also contains raw cocoa butter containing a high amount of fatty acids which hydrates the skin and creates a protective barrier that holds in moisture and prevents your skin from drying.
Moisturizing Tallow Body Butter Recipe:
Ingredients -
1 c. Grass-fed beef tallow: https://www.iherb.com/pr/epic-bar-gra...
1/4 c. raw cocoa butter: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Organic-Co...
1 T. beeswax: https://www.etsy.com/listing/16416083...
8-10 drops of essential oil, I used vanilla: https://usa.calianatural.com/products...
1.) In a saucepan, combine tallow, cocoa butter, and beeswax stir frequently until thoroughly melted and blended together.
2.) Remove the saucepan from heat and allow this mixture to sit until room temperature (app. 30-40 minutes).
3.) Add your drops of essential oil before using a hand mixer to whip the fat until it turns into a thick, rich body butter consistency.
4.) Carefully pour into a clean glass jar of choice. Place in the refrigerator to cool and solidify. Store in a cool, dark place (Lasts up to 6 months at room temperature, lasts a year+ when refrigerated).

Romantic Lifestyle Goals | Why I Stopped Using Heat in My Hair
Hello lovelies and welcome back again to another new video. I have been prioritizing my hair health now that we're in the cold, winter months and it's dryer and with less humidity. Keeping my tresses moisturized with oil treatments, deep conditioning masks, and avoiding hot tools and heat styling have helped maintain shine and manageability so far this winter and I wanted to talk with you a little bit about it.
My hair journey over the years has taught me so much about caring for my hair naturally, and I have learned a lot from mistakes made and experiences that haven't always been so good with my hair. But either way I have grown to appreciate my natural hair and the texture of it and I no longer feel the need to style it with tools like blow dryers, curling wands, and straightening irons. In this video I will share with you why that is and some of my thoughts on hair care, as well as demonstrate a no heat hairstyle and how to have natural hair health in winter. I hope you can find some enjoyment and inspiration in today's video and as always, be blessed⚘

Peach in the Pines Channel Trailer
Hello lovelies and welcome to my channel where together we celebrate coziness, nostalgia, and warmth. I'm drawn to slow-living content and videos aimed towards simplicity so I hope to reflect that within my own videos as well.
Creativity is my passion and I'm ever-inspired by nature and God's handiwork found in daily life and places often unlooked. I love attention to detail and to surround myself with good food, family, and cherished friends.
I live amongst the pinewood forests of south Georgia and am blessed with warm, sunny weather most of the year. Travel and exploring local, quaint towns is also something I enjoy because it broadens the mind, sparks imagination, and promotes creativity and inspiration.
Whenever I feel like I need more grounding and self-reflection, walking - especially through the woods and in nature - is my favorite practice and it brings healing, connects me to God, and helps with a meditative mindset.
If you're also interested in purposeful fashion, I feature thrifting videos and share outfits inspired by period dress. My slow living lifestyle videos also bring attention to attaining simplicity and following a holistic approach to health and wellness. I absolutely love natural beauty wether it be in the form of a homemade hair mask or a makeup look using organic products. I'm so happy you're here and I'm excited to see what this year brings for us. Together we can appreciate the beauty of life and take small moments to find it in places least expected. God bless!
