a Tower of Giraffes running in Kruger Park amazing sight!
Giraffes running and playing around is not a sight you see every day. Amazing as the young bulls chase the females around the tower of giraffe. They wanted to drink put the boys and the heard of elephants did not want to let them, maybe next time. Also in the mix is an elderly bull and the tower did not want to wait for him.

Epic... Hippo chase each other in the river!
When water levels get low Hippos can step on each other toes and normally this end in a fight or a chase and sometimes to the death of the opponent. Hippos are very territorial especially when it comes to females and younger bulls trying their luck in the pod.

So cute! Tiny Hyena pups suckling on mommy.
Tiny Hyeana pups coming out in the open to suckle on mom they are just a couple of week old and still very new in their very dangerous environment. Many pups won't make it to adulthood but while Hyenas is quite vicious sometimes they are excellent mothers and the whole clan will take care of the babies.

Huge herd of Elephant crossing right in front of us amazing!
While on Safari in the Kruger National Park, close to Skukuza we were looking for a leopard next to the Sabie River and then suddenly to the right of us in the bushes herd some elephants approaching. Rather than to move away we just backed up a bit and waited in silence as they came closer and was aware of them and did not want to startle them as we could saw the babies in the breeding herd. Our guest and us whatched them crossing close to us remember this video was taken with a mobile phone some it was actually much closer than it looks. They passed and gave us an eagle eye at towards the end but luckily they were calm and the guide was prepared for any movement from the herd in our direction. Amazing experience to have these giants walk so close and silent next to us. Kruger magic at it best. Filmed by Bernhard Bekker. Book your drive online today from www.pksafaris.com

Lions Mating in Kruger National Park captured on a photo safari with B1 Photo Safaris
One morning early we had this amazing encounter with a pride of lion close to Renosterkoppies we hear them raw from down the road and then as we got closer to the sound the female darted into the road and the male followed her and they mated in the open. The male lion then proclaimed his territory with a very load raw and the female joined in. This was truly an awesome experience both for me Bernhard Bekker my Brother Hennie Bekker and our private wildlife photography clients. One of my truly great moments in the African bush. Majestic Bateleur Eagle Flaunts Its Plumes, Greeting The Sun
A remarkable footage has emerged of a Bateleur eagle spreading its wing feathers in the sun in an attempt to get them dry. The footage, captured in the Kruger National Park based in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, South Africa, shows this majestic bird using sunrays to get warm and dry! What a smart bird! Incredible!
The Bateleur eagle is a true bird of prey and its scientific name ‘Terathopius ecaudatus’ literally means ‘marvellous face, no tail’ in Latin and Greek. Photographer Bernhard W Bekker’s voice can be heard in the background as he narrates for a safari visitor the details about this majestic bird during a detailed Private Kruger Safairs tour.
Footage shows Bateleur eagle drying its wings near a pond, by spreading them feathers to the sun. It is truly beautiful to witness the amazing moment an eagle spreads its wings to greet the sun! This majestic bird sure knows how to flaunt its plums, even when the sole purpose of it is to get them dry. Amazing!
Who would have known that birds can be that smart?! This eagle has figured out that in order for dry them plumes it has to spread them wide in a greeting yoga posture. Have you seen something so adorable before? Using the sun as a private feather-drier, this smart Bateleur eagle has conquered our minds with its wisdom. This incredible video is guaranteed to have you in stitches!
This medium-sized eagle is endemic to Africa and small parts of Arabia. Bateleurs are hunters and scavengers, mostly preying pigeons and sandgrouse. The bateleur is generally silent, but on occasions it produces a variety of barks and screams. According to Hawk Creek Education Director Tanya Lowe, the Bateleur eagle is one of ‘the most colorful species of eagles in the world’.
