One of the ways you can get an Arduino bootloader on a factory fresh 328 is use an Arduino Uno and a USBTiny. This was a LED control box, now made into a dual boot device also able to do 8:8:8 RGB to 5:6:5 Hex conversions. Hardware was already put together from a thing I did a while ago, so I thought what the heck, why not? Code (Arduino) can be found here: http://www.thecustomgeek.com

JOS stands for Jeremy's Operating System and is open source. I encourage you to use it, hack it, and do what ever you want with it. It is based on Lady Ada's TFT and libraries. These can be found at http://www.adafruit.com. It is written in the Arduino IDE and works perfect with the TFT breakout and the Touch shield. This version does not support and SD card/bitmap functions as I do not have a touch shield yet. I will write these in when I get a Touch shield some day. This is a brief look at the light controller on my bench. Overkill, I know. Powered by an Atmel 328PU running an Arduino bootloader.

Hope this helps, I'll post some code on the forum soon as I can get to it. I'm basically assigning a page number to all of the menu pages. Then when an are is pushed on the touchscreen, you put if statements based on page number. Small example: if (x and y touch blah blah) { if (page == 1) { do page 1 action; } if (page == 2) { do page 2 action; } }

This is a 8:8:8 to 5:6:5 color converter. I made this for a 2.8" TFT with touch screen that you can get at adafruit.com. It is used to define single custom colors from a 24 bit RGB value.
