(This can apply to any horse) *This is not a "How To" video, but simply how I teach this to a mustang! Clicker Training, also known as Positive Reinforcement (+R), is such an effective way to train horses! There are several things I teach a horse before I start incorporating +R in normal training. He is extremely smart and confident and I feel so blessed to be able to work with him. After working with a difficult mustang this past spring/summer, I prayed that God would allow my next mustang to be easy. God definitely answered my prayer!!

I didn't get a lot of time to work with Jackson during week three, due to being out of town for a few days, but we got a lot done! My main focus was helping Jackson get used to different things horses are commonly afraid of. He did so well!

Come along for Jackson's biggest milestone yet! He finally gets to be in a large open space again! By the end of this video, Jackson had a total of 3 1/2 hours of training since I got him. That is how quickly he is progressing! One thing I love doing is helping my mustangs teach themselves confidence. Ember was concerned about the ball touching her legs, but she was fine with it when she was in control of the ball rolling around! Now, I can bump the ball up against her legs and underneath her because she taught herself that it was okay!
