Many reading this will know that Type II Diabetes is not a good thing. Everyone gets a prescription to treat it but we are not really told the pill is nothing more than a band-aid. We all need to ask our doctor how many of the pills we are on could be reduced, or even discontinued if we were a healthy weight? Since you you are reading this you are most likely a 'professional dieter'. I know I have been one for decades and it was not until I figured out my blood sugar (Insulin and Type II diabetes and insulin resistance.) that I was able to start getting my weight under control. I used to be a professional dieter. You name the diet and I failed at it. It was not until I matured and realized this body is all I got. There is no reset button. Once I figured out how to STOP dieting is when I started to understand what healthy actually means. Since I am still overweight and on meds... I consider myself to be sick.
