Guitar restoration for a friend. This is the first video in series. My friend pretty much "found" this guitar. It was in the basement of a home restoration he was working on, and the owner said, "Take anything you want!" My son, home from school after months away, gets back on his drum kit and belts this out. I keep the kit mic'ed and ready roll, and when he started getting into it I put the camera on him.

Just screwing around... A fan of Rush since Permanent Waves. I learned a lot of Rush as a kid, and then they invent the internet and I found out I've been playing it wrong all my life. Old habits die hard, too, but here it is... This was recorded, plugged straight into my interface, using Native Instruments Guitar Rig Pro 4. I have 5, but I swear, I think 4 sounds smoother. And the backing track is actually Geddy and Neil, sans Alex, which I found on YouTube.
