Everyone that helped us with Pops arrangements were absolute Angels. At such a hard time, you all helped get us through it. Thank you.

Pop used to race motorcyles in Japan during his service. He loved motorcyles and if he could, I know he would have been out there riding with you all.
When Pop came home from Vietnam he never got a parade...never got a thank you...in fact he was treated like he was the bad guy. This left a bad taste in his mouth for the military and our Government. It wasn't until about 2016 when he finally started to get the thanks and respect he deserved from people everywhere that helped him open up and feel pride for his service . That always made me so sad. I can tell you all this, what you did for us and for him on this day was, frankly awe inspiring. Thank you. Thank you for giving my Father such respect. Thank you all.

Pops Vlog Supplemental
This was the morning of Day 4 and the morning after our first night at my Cousin Brian's place.
With everything going on, we didn't get to hang out with my cousins as much as we would have liked, but we are very grateful for everything they all did to help us through this difficult time.
Sitting out back that morning I just had to take a minute and reflect on where my life had been and where it is today and I wanted to share that moment and remind everyone to take the time to reflect, it keeps you grounded.
Brian, thanks buddy for everything and I am so proud of you and me both for changing our paths and lives. I guarantee you, Pop was proud of us both too.

Pop's Vlog Day 2
Day 2 of our journey through this hard final transition of Pop's life.
We got the call from the Doctor that said we need to get on a plane and get to Texas. We had no time to book an affordable flight and get Paco into a border, so 2 hours later me, Robin and Paco were packed and loaded into our truck and pulling out from our apartment to drive straight through to Texas. Of course, as per our usual, Mother Nature and the Universe were not going to make it so simple.
Take a listen and share the journey with us.
Below is the link to the Mike Rowe podcast "The Way I Heard It": Episode 107 "His Last Letter Home"....an amazing story about and amazing artist told by an amazing artist.

Pops Tribute Video 1
This is a video tribute I made celebrating the life of my Father, James Edward "Jim" Stewart.
220 photographs spanning his life from his first baby picture through to our last visit with him at the nursing home.
I love that old man and I know he is in a better place with no pain, that he is walking tall and strong with his family and friends...but his absence has left a big big hole in my heart and our world.
I love you Pop. Catch you on the other side of the rainbow.

Pops Vlog - Day 1
This is a simple daily vlog I am doing to help me get through this tough but necessary transition with Pop as he moves into Hospice, and we prepare ourselves for the inevitable.
I am a passionate person and as such it is sometimes difficult for me open up my inner emotions with even those that I love and are closest to me. But for some damned reason if you put a microphone or a camera in my face, I can talk just about anything.
So, this if as much for my personal therapy, if you will, as it is for posterity and to tell stories of my Father with friends and family. I hope that you enjoy and if you know my Father or about any of these stories I will tell, please share with us in the comments so everyone can enjoy it.
I love you Pop.
