When my daughter mentioned the football theme sounded like a Christmas song, I had to do a mashup. To my pleasant surprise, others had the same association, and Jacob Dupre had already mastered the audio mix. AMF built Evel Knievel bikes at their Little Rock factory. The Sorenson family sold them at their hometown shop, mere steps from the facility. Continuously the retailer procured factory returns and production overruns. When AMF closed in the early Eighties, the Sorensons received several trailers full of factory stock, where the parts languished due to Knievel's fading stardom. Now with a resurgence of interest in America's favorite daredevil, Mr. Sorenson is the go-to guy for Evel Knievel bike parts. He sells parts of his stash to grateful collectors, and assembles others into a fleet of brand new bicycles bearing the name the courageous motorcyclist. Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance is a tradition at the Evel Knievel Museum. Afterwards, the buddies dare each other to lick the flagpole.

After the King of Daredevils, Evel Knievel, broke his back at his European premiere, he tapped Gary Davis to continue the tour in his place. The young Hollywood stuntman packed up his favorite wheel and headed to London, where he trained Knievel's family to perform. The show flopped without its headlining namesake. Gary Davis returned stateside moved to Montana in order to rehabilitate Knievel back onto his motorcycle and his next adventures, which included an attempt to break a world's record in the same year.

Gary Davis got his start as the stuntman for "Evel Knievel." Yeah, it's like being Chuck Norris' bodyguard. CBS hired the youngster to do wheelies and jump over exploding cars for their pilot episode, starring Sam Elliott. Here Evel Knievel Museum founder Lathan shares some home videos that the Castine family captured way back in 1974 at Beeline Raceway, where the television pitch was filmed.

Cam brought his Stunt Cycle to Topeka to replicate Evel Knievel's 1967 solo performance at City Hall. The Kansas Statehouse was the perfect backdrop, just steps away from the Evel Knievel Museum.

During his teen years Jim worked with his dad turning dreams into reality. Ideal Toy Company inspired them to replicate a children's plaything into a life-size toy for Evel Knievel.

At 12 years old, Jim was kustomizing cars for pimps. His skills and creativity took him across the nation to work with the best, including his dad and George Barris. Together, they created some of the most iconic vehicles in the world.
