Racing an 80 Year Old Steam Boat Across Scotland | Caledonian Canal
In this episode we race The VIC 32, the last Clyde puffer, across Scotland through the Caledonian Canal from Fort William to Inverness.
In our 40 ft Caley Cruisers we take on this steamer along 60 miles of Lochs and canal.
Helping us inthe race is our Inflatable Boat, the Mary Joanne 420.
On day one we leave Fort William for Moy Swing bridge and make it to Loch Lochy where the steamer catches up to us. We go head to head with the ship across Loch Lochy in attempt to stay ahead of it at Laggan Locks. Once across the lock and through Laggan Locks we cruise through Laggan Avenue. Onto Loch Oich we moor up at Invergary Castle for the night where we explore the sunked ship, the Great Glen then swim and have a meal at Invergary Hotel.
In the next stretch we are neck and neck across Loch Oich, though the canal and locks then we finally pulled ahead at Fort Augustus Locks.
With Fort Augustus Locks completed we just have Loch Ness to complete on the final day but the mist stops us from seeing the VIC 32 so we power on in hopes we beat it.
The winner of the final stretch takes the trophy home, can we beat this 120hp monster?

Exploring the History of the Caledonian Canal | Fort Augustus Locks & Laggan avenue
In this episode we set off from Fort Augustus, climb the locks to reach Loch Oich, cruise Laggan Avenue and explore more of the rich history surrounding the Caledonian Canal.
We start in Fort Augustus then take our 2 Caley Cruisers, The Balmoral and the Taransay and our Inflatable boat / SIB through Fort Augustus Locks. At the top of the Locks we cruise through the canal to get to Loch Oich.
On Loch Oich the Caley Cruisers push on ahead to make our reservation at the Eagle Barge whilst the Inflatable / SIB goes on an adventure to Invergarry Castle.
Once passed the final Loch Oich swing bridge the Caley Cruisers head down the spectacular Laggan Avenue.
Eagle Barge sits at Laggan Locks, after a great meal there and learning about its history we take on the final lock of the day and moor up on Loch Lochy where we wild swim and get surprised by a Chinook.

120 Miles at Sea on Tiny Inflatables | Circumnavigating the Isle of Arran Pt.1
This is the first of 3 episodes in which 2 courageous teams attempt to circumnavigate the Isle of Arran on Tiny Speedboats.
The small infaltable boats are Boatworld 420's and we decided to do the longest journey ever made on them.
Starting at Wemyss Bay Beach, the team exit Loch Long but not before stopping at Rubh' an Eun Lighthouse.
After that they enter the Firth of Clyde where they battle waves and 6 miles of open sea to get to the starting point of the circumnavigation.
Once at Sannox the true journey begins, heading to Brodick Castle, the town of Brodick, Middleton's Campsite and ending the day in Lamlash.
