Waterford in the southeast of Ireland, is the country’s oldest city. The Vikings founded Waterford in 914 A.D. and even today parts of its ancient walled core remains.

We picked rainy day in Berlin yet we manage to see several sights on this afternoon. Starting at the Museum Island there is first a little detour to the Gorki Theatre. Then main sights come into view towards Alexanderplatz with the iconic East Berlin TV tower. We head back in more rain on the wide street "Unter den Linden" towards the most famous sight of Berlin: the Brandenburg Gate. Checking the nearby Reichstag we go towards Jewish Memorial followed by the Potsdamer Platz. We check the "Topography of Terror" exhibition along the old wall and end this walk at the famous "Checkpoint Charlie" which was the old border crossing between East and West Berlin.

On this walk in Singapore we start at the Gardens by the Bay, walk around the Marina Bay to see the skyline of this city-state. We get through the center of Singapore and walk all the way up to the busy Orchard Road.

Kaiserslautern / Germany is a city in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in the southwest of the country. The historic center dates back to the 9th century. Today Kaiserslautern is home to about 100.000 people with additionally approximately 45.000 NATO military personnel. The military presence is a large contributing factor to the local economy. We start our tour on this cloudy day at the Kaiserpfalz (Barbarossaburg). This former palace was a temporary seat for the roman emperor from the early and high middle ages. Nowadays a few red stones remain giving a small impression of the former glory.

Rhodes / Greece is the largest of Dodecanese islands where the city of Rhodes is a place many tourists visit. The city itself is home approximately 50,000 inhabitants while the islands Rhodes is known for its beach resorts. Many people have also heard of the Colossus of Rhodes. Some ancient ruins can be found in Rhodes town and around the island. We start our tour at the western Gate of Amboise. From there we pass the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. We get into the town center seeing the Medieval Clock Tower and Mosque of Suleiman.

Modern central Bangkok / Thailand with the Sukhumvit Road and the Pathum Wan district is the busy commercial center of the city. Many luxury hotels are also located there, as well as shopping centers and restaurants.

Munich (German: München) is the capital of the German state of Bavaria. The city is an industrial center also a major tourist destination - mainly for the Okoberfest.

London is the capital of England and the UK. With a long history there are many historical sights and modern architecture in this vibrant European city.

Manchester in the north west of England, is a major city of England and famous for its football club "Manchester United". With an industrial heritage, Manchester is now also a cultural hub of England with many museums, theatres and nightlife.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a ski town in Bavaria. The town's name was formed when 2 towns united in 1935. With its beautiful location in the Alps near the Zugspitze (2.962m), Germany's highest peak, Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a popular destination for hiking and winter sports.

Gdańsk (German: Danzig) at the Baltic coast of Poland is a popular tourist city of the tricity area of (Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia).

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland. With a medieval Old Town hilly city is a tourist favourite in the UK.

We are in Madrid, the capital of Spain on a winter afternoon. Our tour starts at the Plaza de Jacinto Benavente in the centre. We quickly walk towards the Puerta del Sol which we will visit several times today. Central Madrid is busy with people and shops - also on our way to the Gran Vía. On the Gran Viá we head east to the Plaza de Jacinto Benavente - the symbolic Gothic palace & fountain and now Madrid's City Hall.

Vienna (Wien) is the capital and largest city of Austria. With the rich history and imperial architecture of the city centre and being on the UNESCO World Heritage List it is a major draw for tourists.
