Kayak Sailing - DIY/Homemade Sail Rigs
A first (and 2nd) stab at building a sailing rig for my kayak. Going from youtube videos on this subject and the seat of my pants, I found that a relatively-decent rig can be built on the cheap and some great fun can be had!

Sailing my Canoe on the Richibucto River (DIY/Homemade Rig)
Homemade sails and rig on my 80s OldTOwn "Disco 69".
Main and mizzen balanced lug sails, retractable rudder and lee-board. All recycled wood and sail-cloth.
Some pictures of the sail construction and few odds and ends here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZQSMNDw5sBeb6A748.
All home designed and constructed with lots of help from these 2 books:
* "Canoe Rig: The Essence and the Art : Sailpower for Antique and Traditional Canoes" By Todd Bradshaw (https://books.google.ca/books/about/Canoe_Rig.html?id=uCPiIQAACAAJ)
and
* "The Sailmaker's Apprentice" By Emiliano Marino (https://www.google.ca/books/edition/The_Sailmaker_s_Apprentice/qc93PwAACAAJ?hl=en)
