1968 Valiant VE Safari Wagon Build Update #6
So I have been pretty quiet the last 4 weeks or so as I was waiting on the blasting gear to turn up, still got a bit done, the wagon is now 100% stripped down and ready for a good pressure wash ahead of stripping the paint and application of the Epoxy Sealer.
This is where I am asking you guys for comments/thoughts etc on the best road to take, I can sandblast this without damage (I have blasted for many years) so that is my go too method, but I have been watching a lot of #astill_design on YouTube and I am wondering if I should go down the paint stripper and deoxidine route. I am also after input on whether or not to do the full on removing the panel skins etc. it looks like a lot of work, but I am more worried about not being able to do the work to good enough standard or biting off more than I can chew so I am really hoping for some input form you guys on this. I also have a quick look at the Press Brake I built so stay to the end for that.

How to Make a Homemade Sheet Metal Brake
This video shows how I made my 1200mm (4’) Sheet Metal Brake in my shed, I show the whole process, talking through each step, I explain why I do each part the way I did, I also talk about the importance of taking control of your mental health and the positive outcomes that I get from my Shed Time. It’s something that I have made my mission and is the main driver behind Shedtimedownunder both here on Rumble and on Instagram. The more people talk about mental health the more we bring it out into the open and that can only lead to helping more people to reach a positive space, just like I have done.
I would really appreciate it if you could please subscribe, like, share or just follow along, anything you can do to help me get the word out there, Shed time is where it’s at guys, get out there and get you some.

1968 Valiant VE Safari Wagon Build Week #5 Update
A little more progress on the tear down, I removed all the suspension from the car and small stuff as I worked around the car, also had a little rant about my week and the importance of reaching out to guys that might be struggling. It’s a crazy world out there at the moment and we need to look out for each other.

Week 2 wrap up, I had to fly to Mt Isa for a few days but still managed to strip a couple of doors during the week and on the week end I bought some new tools and also picked up the 440 that I am planning to run in the car.
