Scotland's Secret Roman Wall!
This UNESCO World Heritage site is a great place to visit! Just 10 minutes drive from Cumbernauld (and next to the Falkirk Wheel) you can step back in time... imagine you are a Roman soldier stationed on the ramparts of the fort. Entrance and parking is FREE and you can even walk to the Falkirk Wheel canal site in around 15 minutes.
This Roman landmark is something that most people haven't heard of, they always think of Hadrian's Wall in England!

Exploring An Abandoned Castle (and paranormal activity?!)
In 2018 we discovered the ruins of Torwood Castle near Falkrik. I didn't have a YT channel at the time so I just took some headcam footage of our initial exploration. Since then the castle has been locked up and a trust has been established to try and raise money to save the building.
You can still visit the grounds and speak to the man who looks after it.

A Tour Of Canada Wood - Falkirk, Scotland
This is about 15 minutes drive from Cumbernauld, and a great little place to spend a few hours. I did the most basic 'history trail' walk but you can add onto it with other signposted trails. Mountain biking tracks and also paths through to Rough Castle... this small patch of woodland has it all!
