Battle learning the fundamentals of Marking. 1st successful Mark without breaking.

Puppy Retriever (Battle) learning the basics. Heel, Over, Back, Sit, Wagon Wheel, and T-Drills.

Started building this Kennel + Workshop in 2021. Contracted the concrete, steel frame, roof, and metal siding. Built the rest myself, still a work in progress as I still have improvements planned. All of the rocks are from my property and moved by hand.

Battle was 14-15 weeks old during these training sessions. Introducing Heel, Sit, Over, Back, Marks, retrieving and returning to hand. All positive, no pressure, and a lot of patience.

"Battle's" 1st week of training. Picked him up from MClabs in Licking, MO. He has been adjusting to the blazing South Texas Summer! And learning how to survive his uncle "Warrior"

Getting Ready for Hunt Test Season. Warrior is working on his "Finished" title. In this session we start with a land triple, then x2 blinds, followed by 3 single marks.

Blind: A retrieve on either land or water where the dog does not know where the location of the bird or bumper is, but the handler does. Warrior has been getting noisy and creeping during the steady. We are working on it here and he is getting pretty good. I allow him to align himself on the "mark" but he needs to be quiet, and not creep forward of the gun (stick simulating gun)
