I drove to one of the tips of Prince Edward Island and hiked down a steep hill, to explore the interesting red rock formations and enjoy the view. This video was shot when my Wife and I were dating. For some reason, I wasn't wearing my gopro but she pulled out her tablet as fast as she could to get some video of the fight. It turned out to be a BIG Lake Erie Steelhead but when it came time to remove my hook, there was a surprise in it's mouth...there was a Little Cleo spoon inside! A fishing buddy of mine days before, lost a big fish that broke his line and took his spoon. I ended up catching the same fish days later!

In this video, I hit the ice on one of the ponds in Waterford, Ontario in search for some Crappies. This trip out surpassed my expectations by finding and catching, multiple Crappies on different lures. I also Managed to catch a personal best this day as well! I do apologize for the poor audio...I forgot that I had the waterproof door on the gopro housing and it makes the audio terrible. Regardless, I hope you find this video interesting and helpful for your next trip out on the ice!

The POV camera angles of GoPro and the likes have been around for many years now but there's a new kid in town. 360 degree cameras! capable of capturing EVERYTHING in a 360 degree around the camera. In this video, I talk about my reasons why I decided to upgrade from my old GoPro 3+ Hero Black, to the Insta360 One R and why I think 360 cameras are going to be big for fishing videos among other hobbies out there.

In this video, I go fishing with an old buddy that I've known since early public school many years ago. He had never been float fishing for Steelhead before, so I got together a spare rod and reel, waders,wading boots, jacket and winter clothing for the occasion and we hit the river. I like to put those I fish with that aren't used to this style of fishing, or used to fishing in general, in the spots I know I've had success in the past and let them have first crack at it. I told him roughly where to cast and let the bait drift and he ends up hooking into the first fish of the day, and a beauty at that! I walk him through how to fight the fish, how to increase the drag, how to pump the rod by reeling down to pick up slack in the line, then slowly pull back as you feel the weight of the fish come towards you and repeat. I hope that those of you that watch this video will learn how to float fish for Steelhead and have just as much fun as my friend and I did!

I came up with an easy do it yourself way of turning a gopro head strap into an awesome hat mount for your first person action camera shots. I personally use it for fishing but you can use of for hiking, paintballing, hunting...whatever your thing is, as long as you have a ball cap, this set up will work. Just follow the steps in the video and if you try it, let me know what you think in the comment section.
