I have been using the Panasonic Eneloop Pro AA batteries with my Godox TT685s speedlights for about 5 years now and this is my review based on my experience. I just ordered an Apple MAC M1 max which will arrive the next 4-6 weeks. I used two AD200 for 3.5 years, mainly for in-studio and on-location indoors for portraits and business headshots. I fired between 50,000 and 60,000 flashes with each, mostly using the bulb and power settings between 1/16 and 1/8+0.7. I try to stay below 1/4 most of the time due to my shooting style with business portraits, since the recycle time get much slower once you get to 1/4 and above. I am still shooting with the initial bulbs that came with it. I am also using the AK-R1 with the round heads a lot for backdrop lighting. I own six Godox TT685s (s - for Sony version) for about 2.5 years now. Out of these 6 flashes one stopped working completely and another one started acting weird, meaning this flash does not fire reliable anymore when being used with one of the Godox remotes like X1T, X2T or XPro. I have got only one complaint and one missing feature to talk about. The head is too tight, you need a lot of force to turn it, plus I really love TCM buttons as there is one with the V1. Judder is maybe well known but still annoying and I am wondering why there is this 24 fps to be cinematic dogma for videos, that are being watched via streaming services, when judder is caused by exactly this combination of technology. In this video you will find the explanation of how judder is caused and I am shooting three videos at the framerates of 24, 30 and 60 fps to generate the judder test videos linked below, so you can check out on your systems when and how judder occurs in your technical environment. Please let me know in the comment section what you experience and what you opinion about 24 fps for streaming videos is. I would recommend to created videos in a 30 fps timeline if judder is to be avoided.
