Elmerine is a dead end street so one has to turn around and come back the view is different on the way out. Note some of the luminaries are out at 3:04 am

Every Christmas eve I have a tradition of either photo graphing or video taping our Christmas decorations. It was interesting to watch this video before I uploaded it as to how many of these I had over 12 years ago and most still work.

Luminaries are put up 5 days before Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve is the last night they are lit. Also they have other really great decorations. This is turning on the street and heading to the dead end.

Every Year the first week of December Jefferson City holds Living windows in down town. The store fronts have dancers and people that act or sing.

Under the Christmas tree is village made of Putz houses, small cardboard houses with gel windows and hole to put lights in the back. The train goes around the tree and past the houses. The larger building in the back is an Anheuser-Busch brewery that was given to my mother for Christmas.

I realize it is dark but there is a sleigh ride village on top of the entertainment center that is modeled after a Street in St. Louis. The sleigh goes through the town and activates characters as it does. Then there is a fiber optic village and tree, followed by the rotating Christmas tree.

Walmart parking lot before Covid was always full except for Christmas eve so it was a rare occasion to see it empty even at night. It gave me a warm feeling to think all those employees were home with their families on Christmas Eve

They had music but didn't hear any music. Later there were signs to tune the radio

Mr. Jack Steppelman's Winter Wonderland. I have to apologize for the video quality but there is another window display not on 2007

Mr. Steppelman's home has arch ways and some of his displays were built in a moving display that looked like windows that he would roll behind the arch ways.

Jack Steppelman originally owned a down town store and from I have been told this Santa Clause was in the window wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. When Mr. Steppelman retired it would appear in his Garage window for Winter Wonderland.
