My CWWK AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS 9 Bay NAS Board
I finally received my CWWK AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS NAS Board. It came in a week. In this video I will just start it up to see if it works (it worked). I also give my thoughts and experience with CWWK. The next video will be the results of installing it in into my Jonsbo N3 case and load TrueNAS to start. Then I will decide if I want to run TrueNAS, Proxmox, UNRAID or Windows 11 with VMWARE. For RUMBLE I left the index listing below...

CWWK-AMD 8/9 Bay NAS Board Preview
I finally managed (after much waiting and delay of production) the purchase of the CWWK-AMD 8/9 Bay NAS Board. It's the one that NASCompares showed with the next level processor. I got it with the Jonsbo cooler and will put it in my Jonsbo (of course) N3. It's in New York, so I should get it this week. Now I'm ordering the RAM and TPM module from Amazon. I just have to decide what to run on it. TrueNAS is already on the jonsbo, so I will start with that. Next video will actually be the Motherboard.....

TPMS: Why I Bypassed the Dealership
I went to my Toyota dealer, where I get service on my 2015 Sienna. A Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS) went out and it coincided with my new tire purchase at that dealer. Anyway I had a dead TPMS in the rear. WHen I asked how much to replace it they said ("BE READY FOR THIS"). $300.00 for one, but it's only $800.00 if I do all Three.... You can guess that I left. However while watching the "Car Care Nut" I leaned more about it......As you can see in the Video...
NOTE: " didn't use the "Tire Pressure Monitor Fitting Kit". I picked it up as a precaution.

ASRock J5040 Board and QNAP TS-453 Pro. Only 8GB Memory? (or "NOT"!)
I titled this: ASRock J5040 Board and QNAP TS-453 Pro. Only 8GB Memory? (or "NOT"!).
This is a video about my J5040 Motherboard. Looks like it's pretty decent for what it is. The MAX RAM is 8GB. However I read it could take 16GB. At the same time I read that my QNAP TS-453 Pro (it's pretty old and out of waranty), which has a max of 8GB RAM, can go 16GB. This is what I tried.....

Installing TPM 2.0 Module on ASRock Motherboard
Just a quick video: I purchased a TPM 2.0 Module for my ASRock Motherboard just to see if it works. Windows 11 won't install without TPM 2.0. Windows 11 won't allow my processor also (it's a i5 6500t, soon to be upgraded to an i7 6700). It's easy to install Windows 11 and bypass the requirements, but upgrades may be a problem. I really don't know how this will act, but I will find out. Disclaimer: ANY Sniffles in the last segment are the sole property of the Owner!

Attach External Hard Drive Jonsbo (N3)
This video is a follow up to my Preview of the same. I used a Jonsbo N3 setup, but it can be used for any computer for/with the same purpose. I also used a "Cloner Alliance ViewPro" to help with my screens that show the controller. The ViewPro could have saved me from an error during the video, but I wasn't sharp enough at the time to use it. In any case, this is what can be done with used parts, or to add drives to a small computer that can take any LSI 9300 HBA or other similar HBA or RAID controller

Attaching a Hard Drive Bay to Jonsbo N3 (Preview)
Looking to attach more hard Drives to you Jonsbo N3 or other computer? If you have or want to get an external "Hard Drive" bay, this is a way to do it (I hope).
This is a preview of what I will do in the next video, when the parts get here.

Jonsbo N3 NAS Case Build.. My Thoughts
I Decided to get the Jonsbo N3 NAS case and build a DIY NAS with parts I had. I still put out about $300.00 for the case, Power Supply and LSI 9300 Raid Controller (that I probably didn't need). I will not go through the whole thing. Just want you to see how it's done on the fly. I do have a QNAP NAS that I use, but this just might be something to keep me up to date with TrueNas and others Operting systems or Virtual Machines. We'll see.
I got the bug to do this from the NASCompares Youtube Channel. He seems to know the products and has an easy conversational tone. See links below....

Pre-Build Slides for Johnsbo N3 NAS Case
This is a short Pre-build of the NAS based on the Jonsbo N3 NAS Case. It will show how I intend to build it as the parts come in, the Mortherboard being last. My intention is not to show you how to build it (you can go to the links in the description, for some excellent videos). I want to sort of comment about it as I go (i.e. difficulties etc.). I should finish the project around Mid-January 2024, providing that everything is here and it works.

HP Elitedesk 800 G2 mini Install of M.2 A+E Key 2.5G RJ45 Ethernet Adapter Network Lan Adapter.
HP Elitedesk 800 G2 mini Install of:
M.2 A+E Key 2.5G RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Network Lan Adapter RTL8125B Chipset.
I've seen many videos about how you could put a 2.5G LAN Adapter in the M.2. A+E Key slot that is normally used for WiFi, but couldn't find anyone who showed it. Maybe I missed it, so here is my version. I used the HP 800 G2 mini, but am sure it would work on most. My video is in one take, so sometimes I leave the mistakes in and sometimes add text.

Upgrading the SSD in My Dell Inspiron 13 2 in 1 7373 laptop. Dell said no, Crucial "YES"
I owned my Dell Inspiron for about 5 years and decided it was time for an upgrade of the SSD.
Not because I needed it, but because I wanted it. I really wanted to find out if Dell was telling me that there was no way to upgrade past the 512GB limit they set. Also the mentioned you can use a PCIe, not PCIe NVMe. That's what they said.

QNAP TS-453 Pro Upgrade 6TB to 12 TB Drives. Easier Done than Said (sorta).
I finally got a chance to update my QNAP TS-453 Pro (about 8 years old) to larger hard drives. I thank QNAP for that for applying firmware updates, even to my old NAS.. I did it "On the Fly" took a while, but I could still work on it during the process. There is so much to talk about with the QNAP NAS Servers, that to do it right would take hours and of course someone who talks more clearly.

HP Elitedesk 800 G2 mini CPU Upgrade! No talk! Just Music. Better than listening to me.
I upgraded my HP Elitedesk 800 G2 mini from an i5 6500T to the i7 6700T. Looks like it came out OK.
If you want an explanation about how it sees 4 extra cores, go to https://superuser.com/questions/96001/why-does-my-intel-i7-920-display-8-cores-instead-of-4-cores
It's the best I found even though I don't understand it.

QNAP! They Tried to Break in to my QNAP!! What Saved me?

HP 800 G2 Stripped Screw on the M.2 Card slot. One way to get the screw out....
As I was preparing my previous video (defenitely a FAIL on that one), I used a technique I learned in the early 90s on how to do it when it's stripped. You have to be careful, but it should work. Don't go by my unsure/sure attitude. I'm just that way so I could suprise myself with success or failure.

My QNAP TS-453 Drive number 3 is sluggish (Low Throuput)?
I had a problem accessing some of my larger directories. It used to be OK, but started slowing down. Ran a few tests and found that drive Number Three's throughput was very low. Western DIgital sent me a replacement. I used the "Replace Disks one by One" command to change out this drive. At the end we will retest the new drive throughput.

My QNAP TS-453 Pro NAS Drive Replacement.... Easy as 123?
I had a hard drive go out on my QNAP TS-453 Pro Network Attached Storage (NAS) Server. So the next thing was to replace it and let it rebuild, so my RAID 5 would be whole again. Hope to show the actual operation as it happens. I don't mean as long as it takes, just cuts of the different operations.... There is so much to
talk about with the QNAP NAS Servers, that to do it right would take hours and of course someone who talks more clearly.

S&W Governor. BETTER than My Taurus Judge
Picked up a S&W Governor at a gun show. Paid about the same as Academy Sport's price. Like it because I can shoot the .410/45 Colt and 45 ACP (with "Moon Clips"). Also the double action is smoother then the Judge. The single is very touchy (which is good).
Moon Clips were a pain so I ordered better ones from ezmoonclip.com I inserted a section in the video about them.
Also see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NPQIxbI7fc for EZ Moon Clip demo.
45 Long Colt was Precision One, 45 ACP from Defenderammunition.com and the .410 for this shooting was Hornady Critical Defense Triple Defense. The .410 had a kick and was fairly accurate with Rodney shooting. Shooting was from 7 and 10 yards.
NOTE: The cylinder in the Judge won't fit moon clips for 45 ACP (unless you know something I don't.

CCI Shotshells. They work, but are they powerful enough to rack the slide and load the next round?
I tested the CCI Shotshells. 9mm with a Sig Sauer P365 and 45 ACP in the Springfield "Defender" Armory 1911A1 Mil-Spec. Just a short test to see if it was powerful enough to work. BEFORE I get crazy comments, I did forget to show the 45 ACP results on the target. Just beleive when I say they were alright at 7 Yards.
THe 9mm uses 12 Shot. The 357 and 45 ACP uses 9 shot...(I know I probably messed that up in the video someplace).... This is just a SHORT Demo....

Tried to get an IWB holster for my Kahr Arms P380 from "We the People Holsters (wethepeopleholsters.com), because I like them printed, and that's
my favorite place to get them. Well, they don't make an IWB holster for my pistol, so I got one from "Outlawholsters.com".

KAHR Arms P380 Break-in Part 2
Received my P380 back from Kahr Arms Repair. Results? Better but not really good enough. This time I used my preferred ammo and theirs. I show one set of 3 magazines. Then one more of 2 magazines that is a barely in frame (because of my crooked camera), which shows the most common jam (slide lock back, that just takes pushing down of the release lever to load the next round). My 380 ammo is from http://defenderammunition.com. Other ammo used with no difference in test results: Remington UMC, Fiocchi 95gr FMJ (KAHR Arms test ammo), Sig Sauer Elite Performance V-Crown and Hornady Critical Defense.
Great video by The Late Boy Scout showing the same problems (more professionaly) with a CW380.
It's basically the same pistol with a different type barrel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAAQu9mvta0&t=26s
