Going through the grind of the setup a little slower than last time:) Dual-Boot is fun, but I prefer to have Ubuntu by its self.

Ubuntu Full Installation v.20 Back On Acer C720 pt.1
Decided to reinstall the great Linux/Ubuntu back on my Acer c720 (Chromebook) after talking "shop" with other fellow Techies and Linux users. Plus, my main work load Chromebook has ChromeOS & Linux Beta on it, AND my custom built $9k Desktop has Win10 already on it, but that's more for gaming and sound engineering to be honest...This is going to be my "Nerd Book" lol so stay tuned for yet another Mini-Series! How to Undervolt a *RX580 8GB* "Fat Boy" GPU
Finally made the video I've been promising to make(well, one of them). A quick "talking head" tutorial on how to Undervolt The XFX Radeon RX580 8GB aka "Fat Boy" GPU. Now, this does work for ALL RX580s as well as GPUs in general. Just make sure you have MSI AfterBurner, and a Benchmarking program i.e 3dMark or Haven. This will take the furnace of a GPU from 83c-88c dpwn to a nice cool 64c-70c :)
Please leave a comment/question if you have one, and please like and follow!

Chromebook *boot from USB* Syntex
Finally, got around to posting this, and yes I know, my baddddd lol I'm severely late on posting this. But, this Syntex (in theory) makes it to where you can boot from USB. Making it possible to use Ubuntu etc. Hope this helps out:)

*Rufus & Ubuntu* The making of a ISO
Sure most know how to do this but it's always nice to have a extra vid posted just incase those select few get the "unable to assign drive/letter" style of error. Just make sure any ISO is on your Desktop to avoid those complications.

ASUS CX22NA *PaRT-4!* Bonus Vid/Post **Getting Steam on Your Linux VM**
Wanted to show that getting Steam on your Chromebook/VM is possible. Just make sure you get the DeB. file, as well as 32-bit ext(s) cause you'll need steam to fun at 32-bit. It won't launch after the "Steam Updater" if you don't have all those.

Asus CX22NA *Part-3* End Results **Mini-Series*
Welcome back to what should be a major win, but the flashrom that was done only kind of worked. Meaning yes, the wp was disabled but was unable to load another OS onto my new ASUS. One major win was using the the Linux (beta) that came w/ the CB, was able to set it up as a full fledge VM(Virtual Machine). Just use all space possible(or less, just depends on what you're doing) then start the oh so fun, and daunting task of *sudo apt-get* lol i'll be using this paticular device for my Home Recording Studio. Audacity is quick an simple to get through LInux.
My apologies that this wasn't that exact vid everyone was looking for, but if any you find out how to get a different OS on the CR50s, please let me know!

ASUS CX22NA (NEW) *FlashRom & New Way To Do It!!* Part 1 of New CB MINI-SERIES!!! MUST WATCH!!
Recently bought this ASUS CX22NA chromebook 2 days before I moved Arizona to the great state of TEXAS. As you can tell from both my Rumble & YouTube pages, I absolutely love Chromebooks, well, there's a lot of great things about CBs, but what makes me truly love them is that once they're "flashed", they become high-powered laptops. I prefer to put Linux/Ubuntu on these anymore just due to the fact of what the new Practices & Policies Windows does now (Win 11 & New iOS share the same...Scanning/Spying/Deletion of files..Definitely go read up on it). I only use Windows 10 personally on my Gaming Rig and Win10 Pro on my FlashRom/Modded ACER C720 (more of my business Laptop now).
Linux is by far, more safe, secure & a lot easier to use than most realize. I've Flashed/Modded over 6 Acer c720s this year alone. Made the customer(s) very satisfied too!
Now, when I bought this ASUS new, I was happy to see that Linux was an option...But, it's only the Beta version, and it's still great to have a Dual-Boot, just that I wanted a Full-Version of Ubuntu. long story short lol I spent a good chunk of my Birthday today figuring out the new WP(write protection)...so here's the First Part, in a New Chromebook Mini-Series!!!

All funds are going towards new Studio Equipment to help improve quality of work and both YouTube & RUMBLE pages!

(Updated) Installing *Win10Pro* on c720 Chromebook
Must have both a USB KB & mouse plugged in cause the Acer drivers need to be downloaded off the internet, from a USB stick, or obtained from the Windows Update menu. The Acer c720 is by far the best chromebook I've flashed/modded, but any one w/ a removable ssd are better for this flash. The internal SSDs only let you Dual-Boot Ubuntu/Linux & ChromeOS.
Once again, thanks for all the support, and don't forget to: Like, Subscribe, Comment, Share! And check out our links for YouTube and other support!! **Hope you enjoyed and thanks for giving us a TRRI:)**

Repairing/Saving My Old Razor RGB Keyboard Pt.2 Identifying Problem Area(s)
Because most higher-end brands have great layouts like this, you'll be able to identify, but notice any extra that might need to be addressed. *example* could have a loose wire that needs soldering and that, let's say 5 minutes outta your time can save you $100s on gear.
And this is why I do little stuff like this, or if I'm doing a repair an it only takes 5 minutes I won't even charge. I'm all about conserving tech...lol cause look how expensive things are now

Acer c720 mod/refurb Pt. 8.2 Ubuntu & The End
Here it is!! Linux/Ubuntu installed on the stock 16GB ssd(have another 128gb m.2 ssd on the way) and a couple of awesome pros. You don't have to worry about the keyboard & mousepad since chromeOS is Linux based. Second these(chromebooks) run a lot smoother (just my opinion)with any distro besides chrome but that's kind of a given lol
I recommend trying out a distro called "PopOS" made completely for beginners of Linux but also steam friendly as well. I learned on Ubuntu an install it if any client asks for a Linux Distro. Thanks to everyone who tuned in to this mini-series(my first) hope it helped out! It was fun to make :) don't forget to like sub and comment....What would you like to see me mod?? Another Chromebook brand?

Acer c720 mod/refurb Pt. 7 Installing Win10 Pro going over everything
Only have to make one more vid after this one. This one is basic if you've ever installed windows for really affordable keys scdkeys I believe is the name. (I own numerous keys but am making the switch to all Linux/vm by the end of the year) I included a pic of what it should look like after you type in the syntex.

Acer c720 mod/refurb Pt.5(Flashing)
Here's the next segment which will be starting of 'flashing of the firmware' note, flash the firmware either way if you're changing out the ssd, don't want to run into any system conflicts like I did earlier. This one is my first hiccup out of numerous ones I've done but never stress when it comes to electronics. Worse case scenario is reinstall ChromeOS to flash it.

Close up the bottom lid, securely or 'wrist tight' are how screws should be. OS should already be decided on. But after we flash the Rom we'll go over Windows 10 first then Ubuntu(Linux) second. Enjoy! These vids til tomorrow:) tried making up for the missed time
