Song of Songs

This shows King Solomon represented the "King" in Song of Songs. Biblical references show Solomon acted like the Antichrist in Scripture.

The Shulamite gets out of bed and looks for her beoved, but can't find him.She looked in the Broad ways and not the narrow way. The watchmen found her and she found her beloved.

The Shulamite finally submits to her lover and willingly goes into the field to do work. She says her beloved desires only her and she belongs to him. She goes to the field to work with her beloved but it all is for him.

Chapter 2My Beloved is mine and I am his. Notice she is first and her beloved is second.

Now the Shulamite talks about her beloved has gone to his garden to gather lilies so this is after Jesus has been crucified. She now says "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." She has changed the order to put herself last.

Your lips are like a strand of scarlet. Scarlet always refers to the connection to Jesus and Salvation. The Shulamite is referring to our connection to salvation. The story of Rahab in Joshua refers to the Scarlet cord. She has been in Lebanon all this time with the King of Tyre, Solomon's friend. The King of Tyre in Scripture is Lucifer in Ezekiel.

The Shulamite is told everything belongs to her beloved after she claimed to own it all. We have nothing without Jesus. She falls asleep, but won't wake up when her beloved beats on the door. She still won't come out to work in the field.

The kisses of His mouth is better than wine. His kisses are His words. His name is an ointment. Jesus is wooing the kings' concubine away from his bed chamber. Only a virgin can marry a High Priest.
