State Rep Marianne Proctor speaks to the School Board Workshop meeting hosted by Superintendent Matthew Turner. #1 Room was set up as a trial hearing-tables facing one another across the room, board on one side elected officials on the other. #2 A mediator (who is a lobbyist) was hired to facilitate the meeting. #3 Turner communicated to the elected officials that this was to be an informal meeting to speak about improving communication and working together. Didn’t start out on the right foot, to say the least.
