Day 2 of the Texas Spring meet starts with us getting together with friends Joel & his son Dillon, who we have not seen in a few few years. Ed and Kathy lead our group for the second day in a row out to a local airfield. After which we head to Gruene TX. for some site seeing and a bite for lunch. The afternoon cruise takes us along the Guadalupe River Road. We head out on Easter Sunday to travel East towards Texas. Taking a leisurely 4 days to get there, we travel many of the back roads and highways. This gave us a chance to see parts of the States we had never been through before. Mrs. i.e.427 and myself really enjoyed the time in the truck, despite all of the rain we endured the first 3 days. This time around we start work on the Factory Five Racing Type 65 Coupe. The fuel system is up first and we get the fuel pump and hanger installed after removing the hanger supplied with the kit. We introduce you all to our brand-new turn signal switch and run through all the parts and it's functionality. This week we dive back into the wiper system to trouble shoot what went wrong and why our wipers won't park. Then, on to the wheels and installing the center caps after we tidy up everything inside the fender wells.
