Sixty Second Gospel

On the cross, Jesus suffered God’s wrath against our sins.

We can see the nature of God in his son Jesus Christ.

Through Jesus Christ there is acceptance by God for the sinner.

Just as Jesus was willing and able to cleanse the leper, he is willing and able to cleanse the sinner. From Luke 5:12-15

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. -1 Corinthians 1:18

There is assurance of heaven for every sinner who repents.

After Jesus calmed the storm, his disciples said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey him!”

Jesus’ death on the cross is the only sacrifice that can take away sin.

Good deeds and religious rules cannot save us—we must be born again.

Jesus calls us to forsake all and follow him.

If we fear God, we need fear no one else.

Jesus has the power to release you from sin.

Eternal life cannot be earned, it is a gift from God.

Jesus suffered the punishment for all our sins, so that we could be forgiven.

Jesus saves us from sin’s power and punishment.

Jesus is the substitute who bore your sins on the cross.
