The Call - Honor (Preview)
Honor: An adherence to what is right or to a conventional standard of upright conduct. Also, to regard someone with great respect and esteem.
For example, in regard to the U.S. Military and those called to serve:
-"The principle of honor helps distinguish military forces from terrorist groups and other unlawful combatants."
-"The principle of honor remains important as a core value of the U.S. military and helps strengthen implementation of the law of war."
-"The principle of honor...draws from warriors’ codes from a variety of cultures and time periods."
Great Leaders created a character and skill building program for young men call the Boy Scouts. The Boys Scouts Oath or Promise begins with the word “Honor.”
On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
Being Honorable is a distinguished characteristic built up by years of trustworthiness and upright behavior and actions.

The Call - Duty (Preview)
Duty is the binding or obligatory force of something that is morally or legally right or an action or task required by a person's position, role, or occupation. (Modified from Dictionary.com)
The term intended here is synonymous with responsibility, charge, obligation, and mission. Possibly a higher-level term would be stewardship.
As we look back through the history of the world and in the context of goodness, truth, and light, there are people and groups of people who definitely fulfilled their duty. Numbers would include thousands, millions, and more.
In the Christian religion there is one individual who stands out. Jesus Christ is truly unique in that He is the Beloved Son of our Heavenly Father. His life was centered on answering the Call of his Father. He fulfilled His divine Duty. There was a moment in His mission where He was alone. His mission was to stand firm. For us. The most Glorious of all Duties, bringing ultimate Goodness, Truth, and Light to all.
-What does take to fulfill one's duty?
-Are there times that there are forces in opposition of us doing our duty?
-If what is "moral" or "legal" is in flux, how might that affect our call to do our duty?
-What happens, for instance, if one who is in legal authority neglects or chooses not to do their duty?
-Are there times where the "binding or obligatory force" requires us to stand firm and maybe even stand alone?
-Do we know of individuals who sacrificed greatly to fulfill their duty and how did we support or honor them?

The Call - Courage (Preview)
Courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., despite any fear.
Courage can take many forms. It could be moral, physical, social, emotional, and even spiritual. Often all forms are involved in some degree.
Courage can help one overcome a natural fear of doing things never done before. It operates to stare down a fear of failure, embarrassment, rejection, or isolation.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." --Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be of good courage, and let us be courageous for our people, and for the cities of our God, and may the Lord do what seems good to him.” --2 Samuel 10:12
-When was the last time you exhibited courage in your life?
-What was required and how did it feel afterwards?
-Is the status quo a barrier to taking courage?
-Is courage the same as "following your heart" or "just letting go" and taking the relevant action?
-What type of courage is necessary to "stand up for what is [truly!] right" and not capitulate to the crowd?
-Is courage involved, for example, in being patience while facing ridicule?
-Is courage required in admitting that you have been in error and taking steps to remedy that error?
