Yep, it has been awhile. Here is why.

This was an adventure or should I say a pain in the neck. I did not get all the video I wanted because it took so long. Approximately four hours start to finish just to get the G.I. Op Rod guide off. Then reduce the barrel boss diameter down to 0.8" 80 hundreds not 80 thousands as I described in the video. Brain damage folks. This was more difficult than the Sage EBR chassis install back in 2014 because I had to reduce the boss by a lot more. It came out fine.

So, after four months of waiting I received the Canadian made Blackfeather RS Chassis. For those of you who do not know. The Blackfeather RS Chassis is a second generation M14/M1A rifle chassis system. It brings the M14 further into the 21st century. With tax and shipping and handling my total was just shy of nine hundred bucks U.S. . This video is simply to demonstrate what comes with the chassis and what you will have to buy to complete it.

So I have not had consistent groups since I installed my Fulton Armory M14 into the BlackfeatherRS chassis. But with so many new components it was hard to narrow down the cause. I think I know why.

It took about 6 hours total to install and assemble all of the components. This video was filmed before I had new ultra low scope rings installed

The small details make the difference . Especially a rattle can paint job. This combo is not for looks it is intended for hard field use not as a display or troufy . Removing the pain from the working surfaces insures reliability.

So after 4 months plus of waiting I received the chassis today. Now the fun part.

No, do not dread for your choice was a very good one. The M14 & M1911A1 are still as good as they ever were and in many cases better. And here is why.

Farmers are the original preppers. During the winter cattle need supplemental nutrition that the little grass that is in the field can not provide. So farmers bale and or roll hay. A lot of hay. With eight cows, one Bull, and 6 calves it takes about a roll a day. During the three months of winter here in Georgia USA that comes to 90 rolls +. In this video, on two different days, I use a hay spear on the frontend loader of the New Holland TD80D to move two rolls out for the cows.

A Parent is so much more than being a buddy. A parent should care more about teaching their child the right things even if it makes the child mad or hurts their feelings. Your job is to protect them especially when the new fad is to allow them to transition. If the child can not legally drive a car on public roads or buy alcohol or cigarettes, buy a guy, or vote. What makes folks think that they are ready to make an irreversible decision that will trap them in a prison of their own body? Much like someone paralyzed and in a wheelchair.
