Happy Fourth of July! I opened this video with words to consider. Words that are written by “founding father” Thomas Jefferson. Words that are written on the walls of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC. Have we strayed from the Holy author of our faith?

Perhaps it’s time we ask ourselves the question, what purpose does time itself serve? After watching this video, perhaps you will also draw the conclusion that time itself does matter. Time itself does count and perhaps even documents, or records everything we say and do. Time itself perhaps documents and records everything we say and do right up to the point when we meet our maker and are asked the question, “What have you done?”. Therefore, for those who believe, we should live our lives repentantly, knowing that we will have to give an account, not to men, or to their devices, but to the one to whom we all must give account, God.

John 18/36 Although Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world, it could have been. Jesus did not seek to establish a worldly kingdom because His concern was with the bigger battle. His concern was for the souls of men.

At the Jerusalem Council in The Book of Acts the Apostle Peter rose up and admonished a sect of believing Pharisees who said “It is necessary to circumcise them, (believing Gentiles) and command them to keep the law of Moses.” The Apostle Peter asked these believing Pharisees, “why do you test God by putting a yolk on the neck of the disciples (believing Gentiles) which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?” (Acts 15/10) He also explained that “God, who knows the heart”, gave believing Gentiles the Holy Spirit just as He, God, gave the Holy Spirit to them, believing Jews; God did not make any distinction between the two. (Acts 15/8-9) The only requirement seeking Gentiles needed to be saved and receive the Holy Spirit was to believe God for the sacrifice of His Son and that He, Jesus, rose up again, from the grave; they believed, they received. I think the Apostle Peter made it clear; We should not over complicate the simplicity of the “believe” and “receive” message of Christ with matters of the law.

In the book of Hebrews 2/1 the Apostle Paul urged the Hebrews to pay more earnest attention to the salvation found in Jesus Christ lest they should “drift away” from it. “Drift away” to what? Perhaps “drift away” back to the Old Testament way of doing things which was their proclivity. In the same way, it seems errant and negligent for believers to approach the spiritual warfare found in the Old Testament Book of Job without first acknowledging the New Testament intercessor between God and man, the man Jesus Christ. Unlike in Job’s day, if and when when Satan approaches God like in Job chapter one, Jesus Christ is there.

An in depth look at Revelation 19:13 and Hebrews 4:12. Some church leaders have said, “With the death of the apostles there can be no new revelations much less new revelations that compromise, confuse or out right contradict the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints”. Therefore, since the Bible as we know it today was not completed in the days of the apostles, nor was the term “Bible” used by the apostles back then, is the statement, “The Bible is the Word of God” a new revelation after the death of the apostles? The Gospel of the Apostle John, chapter one verse one and the book of Revelation chapter nineteen verse thirteen, both, apostolically and authoritatively teach us that Jesus Christ is “The Word of God”. Therefore, again, does the statement, “The Bible is the word of God” bring compromise, confuse, contradict, or detract from the apostle John’s teaching that Jesus Christ is “The Word of God”? Conclusion: The Bible is scripture, but Jesus Christ is The Word of God. Many of the early church martyrs from Stephen in The Book of Acts, to those who died martyrs deaths in Rome, did not have "The Bible" to quote from or refer to in their martyrdom. They did however, have "The Word of God", Jesus, and His testimony written in their hearts. The scriptures also teach that Jesus, The Word of God, is God, God is Love and Love never fails. Jesus Christ, "The Word of God" is infallible (1 Corinthians 2:14)

Many today follow what scientists call the “Gaslight Model” of our Sun and Universe. Our star, the Sun, however, is actually electromagnetic and the hottest temperatures are above the surface of the Sun, not at its core. Many think they can find truth in orthodoxy, or popular opinion, but they never will. The same is true for our Moon. Those who follow the gaslight model will say our Moon was captured by the Earth gravitationally, again, I disagree. I think it came to be through a process called electrogravitic expulsion. What do I think is the approximate age of the Earth? —> *beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.* <— (2 Peter 3:8). In the book of Genesis chapter 2 verse 17, God told Adam in the day he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he would surely die. Key words, IN THE DAY he ate. (Genesis 2:17) We know that Adam and Eve did not literally die on the literal day they ate the fruit, but instead, this same book of Genesis says Adam lived to be nine hundred and thirty years old (Genesis 5:5). In the same book of Genesis chapter one, we are told by many to interpret the days of creation literally, one day means just that, one twenty four hour day. If we apply this same twenty four hour standard to what God told Adam in Genesis chapter two verse seventeen it fails. It fails because again we can see Adam did not literally die on the literal day he ate the fruit. Since we know it’s impossible for God to be either mistaken, or incorrect it is plain to see that God was not talking about a literal twenty four hour day to Adam, but instead, a different Godly concept of time applies . What is this different Godly concept of time that applies to God’s statement in Genesis chapter two verse seventeen? We can find this different Godly concept of time in the many scripture verses below: Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night. 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Additionally The Book of Jubilees chapter four verse thirty thoroughly compliments the scriptures verses above when it plainly states the following, And he (Adam) lacked seventy years of one thousand years; for one thousand years are as one day in the testimony of the heavens and therefore was it written concerning the tree of knowledge: 'On the day that you eat thereof you shall die.' For this reason he did not complete the years of this day; for he died during it. If we then apply this a thousand years is as one day, Godly concept to not only Genesis chapter two verse seventeen, but to chapter one in the book of Genesis as well, it brings continuity to the book of Genesis and becomes apparent that the age of the earth is *twelve thousand years old*. Six days of creation plus the six days after creation, to today. Take note, the "two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night" were set in the firmament "to give light upon the earth" by God on the "fourth day" not the first. To the many who’d say we should look at the days in the book of Genesis chapter one as a literal twenty four hour day, I say this, (Isaiah 55:8) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways says the Lord.” I do not think this thousand year is as a day concept would only apply to Genesis chapter two verse seventeen, but rather, I think it applies to chapter one as well. To the many who’d say Adam and Eve died spiritually on that day, I’d say if their spirit died, they would have died as well. Instead, on that day, their seed and spirit became fallen altered, leading to God sending His one and only Son to atone for our sins. To those who'd say God wrote "six days" with His finger in the book of Exodus Chapter 20 verse 11, I would say this... I think The Book of Exodus, Chapter 20 verses 1-17, The Ten Commandments including the days of creation in verse 11, is a combination of words spoken by God and also words that were written with God's finger and I think a distinction should be drawn between the two. It seems to me the King James Bible (KJB) uses a colon ( : ) to draw a distinction between words written with God's finger verses words spoken by God. Exodus chapter 20 verse 9 and10 end with colon ( : ). In both ancient and modern English grammar, a colon ( : ) is used to introduce clauses or phrases that serve to describe, amplify, or restate what precedes them. Since verses 9 and 10 end with a colon ( : ) I think verse 11 should be read as words that were spoken by God used to amplify, or restate what He wrote with His finger with regard to keeping the sabbath day. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways* says the Lord. The Apostle Peter pleaded with us not to be ignorant and told us directly for a reason when he says: "beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8). For some however, this verse holds no scriptural application. On the other hand, I stand firm and do think the account of the days of creation in Genesis chapter one is a total of six thousand years in the same way God told Adam IN THE DAY he ate the fruit he would surely die. He meant a one thousand year day. My conclusion: In the same way that one year ends after twelve months and begins a new, I think our time here on earth ends after twelve thousand years before it too begins a new. Six thousand years of creation, six thousand years after creation, including Noah's flood, again, starting a new after twelve thousand years total. The thousand year reign of Jesus Christ is what comes next because "one thousand years are as one day in the testimony of the heavens" Jesus' one thousand year reign is as the sabbath day, the last day. He is the alpha and omega, begging and end.

2nd Peter 1:21: for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit The truth is self evident and stands on its own. It does not require a support or belief system to exist, nor does it have to be acknowledged for it to exist. The trumpet looking sirens that sound prior to disasters world wide is simply what these trumpet shaped warning sirens do, acknowledged, or not. There are many modern day Sadducee and Pharisees in today’s church. Back in the days of Jesus, as far as the Sadducee and Pharisees were concerned, Jesus was merely a carpenter’s son from Nazareth and His disciples were a bunch of fishermen and tax collectors who had absolutely no right to the ordinances of G0D They were the well studied, accredited, they were the accepted religious leaders of the day and if G0D was going to reveal anything, it would be through them, not a carpenter’s son, a bunch of fishermen and tax collectors who “never studied” letters, were “uneducated" and “untrained” men. (John 7/15) (Acts 4/13) The Pharisees were wrong. Jesus was glad and rejoiced that the Father revealed these things to babes verses the wise and prudent Pharisees of His day (Luke 10/21) The Book of Revelation depicts many spiritual things that manifest, or appear in the flesh, looking different in physical appearances. For example, many say the book of Revelation Chapter twelve’s account of the woman, the child, and the dragon is an account of the Virgin Mary, her baby Jesus and King Herod. In these scripture passages, King Herod did not take on the physical appearance of a dragon, but instead, when he called for all the male children two and under born in Bethlehem and in all its districts to be killed, it manifested in the flesh by soldiers following the Kings decree and killing them. Again, neither King Herod nor his soldiers looked like the dragon described in The Book of Revelation chapter twelve. In a similar way, although many in churches expect to see larger than life sized angels blowing trumpets in the last days, I think the warning sirens in The Book of Revelation and Sounding Trumpets video, are the sounding trumpets the Apostle John saw in the Book of Revelation chapter eight.

What is light? This is a lesson about the characteristics of light using both science and theology together. Science and theology together can help us to understand and see our world in a much more meaningful way than either one by itself.
